Miguel unwraps tracklisting for new album “War & Leisure”

American singer/songwriter Miguel Jontel Pimentel, known mononymously as Miguel, has unwrapped the tracklisting for his upcoming fourth album “War & Leisure,” which is scheduled to arrive on December 1st via ByStorm Entertainment in partnership with Sony Music’s RCA Records.

Current promotional single “Come Through And Chill” – featuring J. Cole & Salaam Remi – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2015’s “Wildheart” reportedly boasts further contributions from Steve Mostyn, Jeff Bhasker, Happy Perez, Sidney Swift, Dave Sitek, Jerry “Wonda” Duplessis, Arden Altino, Dylan Wiggins, and Raphael Saadiq.

American singer/songwriter Miguel Jontel Pimentel, known mononymously as Miguel, has unleashed his new promotional single online.

“Told You So” – which was written by Miguel alongside the track’s co-producers Jeff Bhasker and Happy Perez – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Miguel’s upcoming fourth studio collection “War & Leisure” – featuring previous promotional singles “Sky Walker” and “Shock And Awe” – will arrive on December 1st via ByStorm Entertainment / RCA Records.

The follow-up to 2015’s “Wildheart” reportedly yields additional alliances with Salaam Remi (Alicia Keys, Jay-Z), Raphael Saadiq (Solange, Andra Day), James “Malay” Ho (Frank Ocean, Sam Smith), Emile Haynie (Pink, Bruno Mars), Dave Sitek (Kelis, Mikky Ekko) and Fraser T. Smith (Raye, Craig David).

YEBBA releases new promotional single “Evergreen”

American singer/songwriter Yebba Smith, known mononymously as YEBBA, has released her new promotional single online.

“Evergreen” – which was co-written by Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett and George Moore – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

YEBBA’s upcoming debut project – featuring further productions and songwriting contributions from Diane Warren, Andrew “Pop” Wansel, Tayla Parx, Chris Loco, Two Inch Punch, Patrick “J. Que” Smith, Raphael Saadiq, and Harmony “H-Money” Samuels – is expected to arrive early next year.

She has also provided guest vocals and co-wrote “No Peace” alongside James “Jimmy Napes” Napier, which appears on Sam Smith’s upcoming sophomore album “The Thrill of it All” (PMR Records / Capitol Records).

Miguel selects title for fourth studio collection

Miguel has selected the title for his upcoming fourth album.

The American singer/songwriter (born Miguel Jontel Pimentel) christened his next studio collection “War & Leisure” and will release it later this year via Bystorm Entertainment / RCA Records.

Lead promotional single “Sky Walker” – which was co-written and produced by regular collaborator Happy Perez – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Follow-up single “Shock and Awe” was co-written with Warren “Oak” Felder (Usher), Andrew “Pop” Wansel (Chris Brown), Steve “Aceface” Mostyn (Prince Royce) and Ronald “Flip” Colson (Kendrick Lamar).

Other musicians expected to appear on “War & Leisure” are Raphael Saadiq (Adrian Marcel), Fraser T. Smith (Craig David), Emile Haynie (Bruno Mars), James “Malay” Ho (Sam Smith), Dave Sitek (Theophilus London), Salaam Remi (Mack Wilds) and Fisticuffs (Jazmine Sullivan).

Miguel’s last studio collection, 2015’s “Wildheart,” debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Coffee,” “Going to Hell,” “NWA” and “What’s Normal Anyway.”

Raphael Saadiq graces new album by Chromeo

Chromeo have teased a new collaboration with Raphael Saadiq.

“The god @raphael_saadiq laced us too. People don’t even know how incredible of a bass player he is. We got a bunch some of our idols on this album,” the Canadian electro-funk duo posted on Instagram on Saturday (June 17, 2017).

Saadiq’s recent songwriting and production credits include Solange’s “Cranes in the Sky,” Usher’s “Champions,” Andra Day’s “Cheers to the Fall,” Miguel’s “Flesh,” and Adrian Marcel’s “Eyes Don’t Lie.”

His extensive resume boasts additional works with Joss Stone (“Tell Me ‘Bout It”), D’Angelo (“Lady”), TLC (“So So Dumb”), Kelis (“80s Joint”), Mary J. Blige (“Color”), Kelly Price (“So Sweet”), Teedra Moses (“Take Me”), Alicia Keys (“Lesson Learned”) and Whitney Houston (“Fine”).

Meanwhile, Chromeo – consisting of David “Dave 1” Macklovitch and Patrick “P-Thugg” Gemayel – are expected to drop their new album later this year via Last Gang Records / Big Beat Records / Atlantic Records.

The follow-up to 2014’s “White Women” reportedly delivers further productions from Jason Evigan (Enrique Iglesias), Digital Farm Animals (Rita Ora), Kaytranada (Craig David), Ian Kirkpatrick (Selena Gomez), Illangelo (Emeli Sande), Ariel Rechtshaid (Kylie Minogue) and MNEK (Dua Lipa).

Among the songwriters expected to appear on the album are Lindy Robbins (Jason Derulo), Ross Golan (Charlie Puth), Priscilla Renea (Nick Jonas), Sean Douglas (Big Boi), Andrew Jackson (Sean Paul), Billy Walsh (Alicia Keys), Scott Harris (The Chainsmokers) and Ammar Malik (Ed Sheeran).

Mary J. Blige has delivered her new album online.

“Strength of a Woman” – featuring singles “Thick of It,” “Love Yourself” and “U + Me (Love Lesson)” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Raphael Saadiq, real name Charles Ray Wiggins, is an American singer, songwriter, musician, guitarist, and record producer.

Saadiq has been a standard bearer for “old school” R&B since his early days as a member of the multiplatinum group Tony! Toni! Toné!

His critically acclaimed album, 2008’s “The Way I See It,” received three Grammy Award nominations and was voted Best Album on iTunes of 2008.

Saadiq has also produced songs for artists such as Joss Stone (“Tell Me ‘Bout It”), D’Angelo (“Lady”), TLC (“So So Dumb”), Kelis (“80s Joint”), Mary J. Blige (“Color”), Floetry (“Imagination”), Kelly Price (“So Sweet”), Teedra Moses (“Take Me”) and Whitney Houston (“Fine”).

Miguel has reunited with Raphael Saadiq for a new collaboration.

Saadiq previously co-wrote and produced “FLESH” for Miguel alongside Anup Kumar Paul. The track appears on Miguel’s 2015 album, “Wildheart.”

Saadiq’s credits also include Usher’s “Champions,” Solange’s “Cranes in the Sky,” Andra Day’s ‘Gold,” Whitney Houston’s “Fine,” Mary J. Blige’s “I See in Color,” and Erykah Badu’s “Love of My Life (An Ode to Hip Hop).”

Miguel, on the other hand, is expected to release his fourth studio collection later this year via Bystorm Entertainment in partnership with RCA Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional alliances with Malay, Happy Perez, Emile Haynie, Dave Sitek, Salaam Remi, Fisticuffs, and MakeYouKnowLove.

Production duties on “Don’t Touch My Hair” were collectively handled by Solange alongside Sampha, Dave Sitek, Bryndon Cook, Patrick Wimberly, Raphael Saadiq and Troy “R8DIO” Johnson.
