Mabel enlists Ghosted for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Mabel has teamed up with London-based songwriting and production team Ghosted (aka TMS) for a new collaboration.

Composed of Peter “Merf” Kelleher, Benjamin Kohn and Thomas “Froe” Barnes; Ghosted are responsible for Justine Skye’s “Don’t Think About It,” Zac Samuel’s “Play it Cool,” Dua Lipa’s “Bad Together,” Craig David’s “Change My Love,” Louisa Johnson’s “Best Behaviour,” and G-Eazy’s “Me, Myself, & I.”

The trio’s current promotional single “Get Some” – featuring guest vocals from Virgin EMI recording artist Kamille – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Meanwhile, Mabel is expected to release her debut studio collection early next year via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

The still-untitled project, which follows current mixtape “Ivy to Roses,” reportedly boasts further contributions from The Electric, Lucy “Pawws” Taylor, Dre Skull, Maxi Millz, JD Reid, Kelly Kiara, MNEK, Raye, Tre Jean-Marie, Negin Djafari, Jean Baptiste Kouame, and Marlon Roudette.

Fans of Ghosted’s works, on the other hand, should keep an eye on the next releases by Maroon 5, Anne-Marie, Niall Horan, Paloma Faith, Era Istrefi, Noah Cyrus, Louis Tomlinson, Alma, Sabina Ddumba, Calum Scott, Jess Glynne, Ellie Goulding, Nick Jonas, Ella Henderson, and Rihanna.

Raye reunites with Sarah Hudson for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Rachel Agatha Keen, professionally known as Raye, has reunited with Sarah Hudson for a new collaboration.

The pair previously co-wrote “Come at Me,” taken from American recording artist Dev’s sophomore album, “I Only See You When I’m Sleeping.”

Hudson’s songwriting resume boasts additional works for Katy Perry (“Swish Swish”), Dua Lipa (“Genesis”), Charli XCX (“Babygirl”), Santigold (“Banshee”), Nicki Minaj (“Get on Your Knees”), Iggy Azalea (“Black Widow”), Idina Menzel (“Queen of Swords”) and Justin Bieber (“The Feeling”).

Raye, on the other hand, is expected to release her debut studio collection early next year via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

As a songwriter, she recently co-penned “Don’t Think About It” for Roc Nation signee Justine Skye alongside Sam Romans and TMS (aka Peter “Merf” Kelleher, Benjamin Kohn, and Thomas “Froe” Barnes).

Additionally, the “U Don’t Know Me” star has reportedly contributed to the next projects by Stefflon Don, Rihanna, Jess Glynne, Little Mix, Era Istrefi, Paloma Faith, Mabel McVey, Rudimental, Anne-Marie, Naughty Boy, Ellie Goulding, Ray BLK, Louisa Johnson, and MØ.

Justine Skye liberates new promotional single “Don’t Think About It”

Justine Skye has liberated her new promotional single online.

“Don’t Think About It” – which was co-written by fellow recording artists Raye and Sam Romans – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on “Don’t Think About It” were handled by Thomas “Froe” Barnes, Benjamin Kohn and Peter “Merf” Kelleher of TMS, who also contributed to the next projects by Maroon 5 (“Denim Jacket”), Paloma Faith (“I’ll Be Gentle”), Niall Horan (“On My Own”) and Calum Scott (“The Wire”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Skye’s upcoming debut album – featuring previous promotional singles “U Don’t Know,” “Flames” and “Back for More” – is expected to arrive later this year via Roc Nation Records.

Justine Skye has announced the details for her new promotional single.

The American singer/songwriter dubbed “Don’t Think About It” as her next promotional cut and will release it on October 13 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Rachel “Raye” Keen alongside Roc Nation signee Sam Romans, whose other credits include Craig David’s “Heartline,” Noah Cyrus’ “I’m Stuck,” Clean Bandit’s “Tears,” Mary J. Blige’s “Doubt,” AlunaGeorge’s “I’m in Control,” and Kwabs’ “Father Figure.”

Production duties on “Don’t Think About It” were handled by TMS, who are also responsible for Ghosted’s “Get Some,” Craig David’s “Change My Love,” Dua Lipa’s “Bad Together,” Maroon 5’s “Denim Jacket,” Zac Samuels’ “Play it Cool,” Paloma Faith’s “I’ll Be Gentle,” and Niall Horan’s “On My Own.”

Era Istrefi delivers new promotional single “No I Love Yous”

Era Istrefi has delivered her new promotional single online.

“No I Love Yous” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The French Montana-featuring track was co-written by Istrefi alongside Chloe Angelides (Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez), Brittany “Starrah” Hazzard (Halsey, Camila Cabello), Lukas “Lulou” Loules (Tinashe, Carly Rae Jepsen) and Alexander “Alex Purple” Kronlund (Tori Kelly, Ella Eyre).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Istrefi’s upcoming debut album – featuring previous promotional singles “Bon Bon” and “Redrum” – is expected to arrive later this year via B1 Recordings / Neser Music / Ultra Records.

Raye has recorded new music with Jin Jin and TMS (aka Peter “Merf” Kelleher, Benjamin Kohn, and Thomas “Froe” Barnes).

TMS (who also go by their stage name Ghosted) are known for their production works with Craig David (“Change My Love”), Emeli Sande (“Highs & Lows”), Louisa Johnson (“Best Behaviour”), Zac Samuel (“Play it Cool”), Birdy (“Wild Horses”), Sinead Harnett (“She Ain’t Me”) and Olly Murs (“Hand on Heart”).

Their current promotional single “Get Some” – featuring guest vocals from Virgin EMI recording artist Kamille – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Meanwhile, Jin Jin is responsible for co-writing Jax Jones’ “You Don’t Know Me,” Foxes’ “Scar,” Little Mix’s “Grown,” Krishane’s “Drunk & Incapable,” Clean Bandit’s “Real Love,” Sub Focus’ “Love Devine,” Kiesza’s “Don’t Want You Back,” Fleur East’s “Like That,” and Alex Newell’s “Keep it Moving.”

British singer/songwriter Mabel McVey, known mononymously as Mabel, has teamed with Pawws and The Electric for a new collaboration.

Pawws (born Lucy Helene Taylor) has previously penned songs that were performed by Dua Lipa (“Be the One”), Etham (“Close Enough”), Liv Dawson (“I’ll Be Waiting), Danny L Harle (“Me4U”) and Annalisa (“Used to You”).

Meanwhile, The Electric (composed of Edvard Erfjord and Henrik Michelsen) are responsible for producing Little Mix’s “Shout Out to My Ex,” Fifth Harmony’s “Don’t Say You Love Me,” Machine Gun Kelly’s “At My Best,” Fleur East’s “Sax,” Olly Murs’s “Love You More,” and M.O’s “Not in Love.”

Mabel’s current mini-album “Bedroom” – featuring the Marlon Roudette-penned / John “JD” Reid-produced “Finders Keepers” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

Her upcoming debut studio collection under Polydor Records reportedly boasts alliances with Tre Jean-Marie (Craig David), Negin Djafari (Louisa Johnson), MNEK (Zara Larsson), Raye (Anne-Marie), Arnthor Birgisson (Taya), Levi Lennox (FKA twigs), Grades (Ella Mai) and Joel Compass (Tinashe).
