Teedra Moses announces sophomore album “Cognac & Conversation”

Teedra Moses has announced the details for her sophomore album.

The singer/songwriter christened her next studio collection “Cognac & Conversation” and will release it on June 23.

Lead single “Get it Right” is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets in partnership with Shanachie Records.

The keenly-awaited project also features the Rick Ross-assisted “All I Ever Wanted,” co-written and produced by Thaddeus Dixon.

Moses’ debut album, 2004’s “Complex Simplicity,” peaked to number twenty on the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Be Your Girl” and “You’ll Never Find (A Better Woman).”

On the songwriting front, Moses penned songs for Christina Milian (“Dip it Low”), Mary J. Blige (“So Lady”), Teairra Mari (“Get Up on Ya Gangsta”), Trina (“Here We Go”) and Macy Gray (“Finally Made Me Happy”).

She also collaborated with top musicians including Raphael Saadiq (Erykah Badu, Whitney Houston), Jim Jonsin (Ariana Grande, John Legend), Pharrell Williams (Usher, Justin Timberlake) and Ne-Yo (Beyonce, Kelly Rowland).

Chris Brown reveals new album “X” tracklisting

Chris Brown has revealed the tracklisting for his upcoming sixth album.

The R&B singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “X” on September 16 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Current single “New Flame” – which features Usher & Rick Ross – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets. The track was co-written by Verse Simmonds and produced by Count Justice.

Other album producers include Diplo (Madonna, Britney Spears), RoccStarr (Rita Ora, Jennifer Lopez), Darhyl Camper (John Legend, Elle Varner), Brandon Hodge (Ne-Yo, Kandace Springs) and Danja (Keri Hilson, Luke James).

On the songwriting front, Brown has teamed up with Sevyn Streeter (K. Michelle, Ariana Grande), Eric Bellinger (Jasmine V, Mila J), Clarence Coffee Jr. (Diggy Simmons, Bebe Rexha) and Sam Hook (Ne-Yo, Trey Songz).

Chris Brown has premiered the music video for his new single online.

“New Flame” – featuring Usher & Ross – is lifted from the R&B artist’s sixth studio album, “X,” out on September 16 via RCA Records.

The track – co-written by Verse Simmonds and produced by Count Justice – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

Video treatment was handled by acclaimed director and photographer Mike Ho, who’s also responsible for Mary J. Blige’s “Suitcase” [Epic Records] and Trevor Jackson’s “Drop It” [Atlantic Records].

“X” serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Fortune,” which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

It also features previous singles “Fine China,” “Don’t Think They Know” (featuring Aaliyah) and “Love More” (featuring Nicki Minaj).

“New Flame” – which features Usher and Rick Ross – marks the fourth promotional single from the artist’s sixth studio album, “X.”

The track was co-written by Verse Simmonds, who previously teamed up with Brown on hit singles “Don’t Think They Know” and “Love More.”

Production duties were handled by Count Justice, who also worked with the artists including Wiz Khalifa [Atlantic Records] and Rihanna [SRP Records].

As previously reported, “X” is scheduled for release later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

John Legend confirms official tracklist for new album ‘Love in the Future’

John Legend has confirmed the official tracklisting for his upcoming album.

The R&B crooner will release “Love in the Future” on September 3 via Sony Music Entertainment / G.O.O.D. Music / Columbia Records.

New single “Made to Love” was produced by Nana Kwabena along with Dave Tozer, whose credits include Justin Timberlake [RCA Records], Musiq Soulchild [Atlantic Records] and Jazmine Sullivan [RCA Records].

Co-production duties were handled by Kanye West along with Marcos “Kosine” Palacios and Ernest “Tuo” Clark of Da Internz, who have also worked on the next albums by Jordin Sparks [RCA Records], Tamar Braxton [Epic Records], Sevyn Streeter [Atlantic Records] and Elle Varner [RCA Records].

“Love in the Future” serves as the follow-up to 2008’s “Evolver.” That release debuted at number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart. It also delivered hit singles “Green Light,” “If You’re Out There” and “Everybody Knows.”
