Jason Derulo releases new single “If I’m Lucky”

Jason Derulo has released his new promotional single online.

“If I’m Lucky” – which was produced by Mattias Larsson and Robin Fredriksson of Swedish duo Mattman and Robin – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Justin Tranter, who also worked with Mattman and Robin on Julia Michaels’ “Uh Huh,” Imagine Dragons’ “Believer,” Britney Spears’ “Slumber Party,” DNCE’s “Cake By the Ocean,” Nick Jonas’ “Close,” Gwen Stefani’s “Make Me Like You,” Selena Gomez’s “Hands to Myself,” Dagny’s “Too Young,” and Hailee Steinfeld’s “Love Myself.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Derulo’s upcoming fifth studio collection – featuring the Ricky Reed-produced / Jacob Kasher and LunchMoney Lewis-penned “Swalla” – is expected to arrive later this year via Jonathan Rotem’s Beluga Heights Entertainment and Warner Brothers Records.

The still-untitled project follows 2015’s “Everything is 4,” which peaked to number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Want to Want Me,” “Cheyenne,” and “Get Ugly.”

Julia Michaels unleashes debut mini-album “Nervous System”

American singer/songwriter Julia Carin Cavazos, professionally known as Julia Michaels, has unleashed her debut mini-album online.

“Nervous System” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

In addition to hit promotional singles “Issues” and “Uh Huh,” the mini-collection features five new songs in the shape of “Worst in Me,” “Make it Up to You,” “Just Do It,” “Pink” and “Don’t Wanna Think.”

With the exception of the Stargate and Benny Blanco-produced “Issues,” which peaked to number eleven on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart, every other song on “Nervous System” was co-written by Justin Tranter alongside Mattias Larsson and Robin Fredriksson of Swedish production duo Mattman & Robin.

As a songwriter, Michaels recently co-penned Snakehips’ “Either Way,” Selena Gomez’s “Bad Liar,” Jasmine Thompson’s “Wanna Know Love,” Shakira’s “When a Woman,” John Legend’s “What You Do to Me,” Zara Larsson’s “One Mississippi,” Ed Sheeran’s “Dive,” and Skyler Stecker’s “How Did We.”

She has also contributed to the next projects by Tinashe, Charlie Puth, Raye, Hailee Steinfeld, Jason Derulo, Ellie Goulding, Years & Years, Billy Raffoul, Jessie Ware, Rita Ora, and Ella Henderson.

Julia Michaels premieres music video for new single “Uh Huh”

Julia Michaels has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The American singer/songwriter (born Julia Carin Cavazos) posted the visual clip for “Uh Huh” to her Vevo channel on Tuesday (July 26, 2017).

The track was co-written by Justin Tranter alongside Mattias Larsson and Robin Fredriksson of Swedish production duo Mattman & Robin, who previously teamed up with Michaels on songs for other artists including Britney Spears’ “Slumber Party,” Gwen Stefani’s “Make Me Like You,” Hailee Steinfeld’s “Love Myself,” Nick Jonas’ “Close,” and Selena Gomez’s “Hands to Myself.”

Featuring previous single “Issues,” Michaels’ upcoming debut mini-album “Nervous System” is scheduled to arrive on July 28 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Additionally, Michaels has co-penned songs on the next projects by Tinashe, Charlie Puth, Raye, Hailee Steinfeld, Jason Derulo, Years & Years, Ella Henderson, Billy Raffoul, Jessie Ware, Rita Ora, and Snakehips.

Grace Mitchell releases new single “Come Back for You”

American singer/songwriter Grace Mitchell has released her new single online.

“Come Back for You” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written and produced by Martin Johnson, whose other credits include Hunter Hayes’ “Yesterday’s Song,” Pentatonix’s “Sing,” Elle King’s “America’s Sweetheart,” Olly Murs’ “Beautiful to Me,” Christina Perri’s “Human,” and Jason Derulo’s “The Other Side.”

Mitchell’s upcoming project – featuring previous single “Kids (Ain’t All Right”) – is expected to arrive later this year via Republic Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers additional songwriting contributions from Leland (Selena Gomez), Julie Frost (Beyonce), Teddy Geiger (Shawn Mendes), Cara Salimando (Dua Lipa), Andrew Watt (Rita Ora), Emily Warren (Sean Paul) and Justin Tranter (Imagine Dragons).

On the production front, Mitchell has worked with Mattman & Robin (Taylor Swift), Francis “Eg” White (Adele), Justin Parker (Grace Carter), Fraser T. Selena Gomez has unleashed her new promotional single online.

“Fetish” – featuring Gucci Mane – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Gomez alongside Chloe Angelides (Ariana Grande, Lea Michele), Gino “Farrago” Barletta (Jojo, Hailee Steinfeld) and Brett “Leland” McLaughlin (Troye Sivan, Kat Graham).

Production duties on “Fetish” were collectively handled Jonas Jeberg (Demi Lovato, Sabrina Carpenter) and Alex Schwartz & Joe Khajadourian of The Futuristics (Halsey, Camila Cabello).

The track was collectively helmed by Chloe Angelides (Ariana Grande), Gino “Farrago” Barletta (Jojo), Brett “Leland” McLaughlin (Troye Sivan), Jonas Jeberg (Sabrina Carpenter) and The Futuristics (Camila Cabello).

Featuring the Ian Kirkpatrick-produced / Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter-penned lead single “Bad Liar,” the follow-up to 2015’s “Revival” reportedly boasts additional alliances with Mattman & Robin (Imagine Dragons), Charli XCX (Blondie), Hit-Boy (Kelly Rowland), JKash (Bebe Rexha), Hazebanga (Mariah Carey), Albin Nedler (DNCE) and Rami Yacoub (Charlie Puth).

Nick Jonas has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The American singer, songwriter, and record producer posted the visual clip for “Remember I Told You” – featuring Mike Posner and Anne-Marie – to his Vevo channel on Tuesday (June 27, 2017).

“Remember I Told You” was written by Nick Jonas alongside it’s producer Mike Posner, whose other credits include Maroon 5’s “Sugar,” Labrinth’s “Beneath Your Beautiful,” Justin Bieber’s “Girlfriend,” Rixton’s “I Like Girls,” Olly Murs’ “Nothing Without You,” and Cher Lloyd’s “Just Be Mine.”

Jonas’ upcoming fourth studio collection, which serves as the follow-up to 2016’s “Last Year Was Complicated,” is expected to arrive later this year via Safehouse Records in partnership with Island Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional productions from Greg Wells (Adele), Jason Evigan (Alex Aiono), Gian Stone (Fifth Harmony), Andrew Goldstein (Ne-Yo), Cass Lowe (Snakehips), Nick Monson (Selena Gomez), David Hodges (Colbie Caillat) and Mattman & Robin (Taylor Swift).

Among the songwriters expected to appear on the album are Cathy Dennis (Chris Brown), Skylar Grey (Rihanna), Harloe (Britney Spears), Ilsey Juber (Majid Jordan), Sarah Hudson (Adam Lambert), Ferras (Katy Perry), Justin Tranter (Imagine Dragons) and Dewain Whitmore (Jordan Fisher).
