Jean Baptiste Kouame hints at new collaboration with Fergie

Jean Baptiste Kouame has hinted at a new collaboration with Fergie.

“Chillen with @Fergie. Wait for it,” Koaume posted to his Twitter account on Thursday (May 20, 2015).

The record producer and songwriter is responsible for will.i.am’s “Scream and Shout” f/ Britney Spears [Interscope Records], Miley Cyrus’ “Do My Thang” [RCA Records] and Rihanna’s “Photographs” [Def Jam Recordings].

He also contributed to the next projects by Chris Brown [RCA Records], Sevyn Streeter [Atlantic Records], Jason Derulo [Beluga Heights / Warner Bros Records] and Becky Hill [Parlophone Records].

Meanwhile, Fergie is expected to release her sophomore album later this year under Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2006’s “The Dutchess,” which peaked to number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “London Bridge” and “Big Girls Don’t Cry.”

Other musicians backing Fergie on the keenly-awaited CD are DJ Mustard (Omarion, Keyshia Cole), Rock City (Ciara, Nicki Minaj). Mike WiLL Made It (Brandy, Mariah Carey) and RoccStar (Usher, John Legend).

Elliphant unveils music video for new single “Love Me Badder”

Elliphant - Love Me Badder

Elliphant has unveiled the music video for her new single online.

The Swedish singer/songwriter – born  Ellinor Olovsdotter – posted the visual clip for “Love Me Badder” to her Vevo channel on Tuesday (May 12, 2015).

“Love Me Badder” was co-written by Theron Thomas of Rock City, whose other credits include Fifth Harmony’s “Body Rock” [Syco Music], Ciara’s “I Bet” [Epic Records] and Fergie’s “L.A. Love (La La)” [Interscope Records].

Production duties were handled by Dr. Luke and Cirkut, who are also responsible for Nicki Minaj’s “The Night is Still Young” [Republic], Ne-Yo’s “She Knows” [Motown] and Becky G’s “Lovin So Hard” [Kemosabe].

Elliphant’s upcoming debut album is scheduled to hit stores and digital outlets later this year under TEN Music Group / Kemosabe Records.

Pia Mia unveils artwork for new single “Do It Again”

Pia Mia has unveiled the official artwork for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter christened “Do It Again” – featuring Chris Brown & Tyga – as the second promotional cut from her upcoming debut album under Wolfpack Entertainment and Interscope Records.

Production duties on “Do It Again” were handled by Nic Nac, who previously teamed up with Mia on hit single “Fuck with You” f/ G-Eazy.

Other producers backing Mia on her debut LP are Harmony Samuels (Ciara, Fifth Harmony), DJ Mustard (Omarion, Keyshia Cole), Benny Blanco (Miguel, Charli XCX) and Naughty Boy (Rihanna, Emeli Sande).

Album songwriters are Chantal Kreviazuk (Rita Ora, Gwen Stefani), Maureen “Mozella” McDonald (Kelly Clarkson, Ellie Goulding) and Rock City: Theron and Timothy Thomas (Usher, Nicki Minaj).

Singer/songwriter Usher has enlisted the songwriting services of Priscilla Renea Hamilton for his upcoming eighth album.

Notable songwriting credits by Hamilton include Fifth Harmony’s “Worth It” f/ Kid Ink [Syco Music], Mariah Carey’s “Infinity” [Epic Records], Tamar Braxton’s “Tip Toe” [Streamline Records] and K. Michelle’s “V.S.O.P.” [Atlantic Records].

Her extensive resume includes further works for Madonna [Interscope Records], Beyonce [Columbia Records], Alicia Keys [RCA Records], Rihanna [Roc Nation Records], Demi Lovato [Hollywood Records] and Little Mix [Syco Music].

Among the top producers she has collaborated with are William Orbit (Madonna, Robbie Williams), Toby Gad (Selena Gomez, Natasha Bedingfield), Benny Blanco (Ryn Weaver, Charli XCX) and Dr. Luke (Ciara, Nicki Minaj).

Meanwhile, Usher is expected to release his next studio collection later this year under Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The keenly-awaited project serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Looking 4 Myself,” which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Climax,” “Lemme See” and “Scream.”

Ciara has confirmed the title for her new single.

The singer/songwriter dubbed “Dance Like We’re Making Love” as the second promotional cut from her upcoming sixth album, “Jackie,” out on May 4th via Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

“Dance Like We’re Making Love” was co-written by Ciara along with Theron Thomas of Rock City, whose other credits include Rihanna’s “Pour it Up” [Def Jam Recordings] and Ariana Grande’s “Be My Baby” [Republic Records].

Production duties were handled by Dr. Luke, who is also responsible for Nicki Minaj’s “Pills ‘N Potions” [Republic Records], Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse” [Capitol Records] and Ne-Yo’s “She Knows” [Motown Records].

The singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “Jackie” on May 4 under Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

Lead single “I Bet” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by Rock City (Usher, Nicki Minaj) and produced by Harmony Samuels (Brandy, Teyana Taylor) and Chris “TEK” O’Ryan (Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Scherzinger).

Lead single “I Bet” – which was produced by Harmony “H-Money” Samuels and Chris “TEK” O’Ryan – is now available for download via iTunes.

“Jackie” serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Ciara,” which peaked to number two on the US Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including the Mike WiLL Made It-produced “Body Party” and the Nicki Minaj-assisted “I’m Out.”
