Lennon Stella signs new deal with RECORDS / Columbia Records

Canadian singer, songwriter, and actress Lennon Stella has signed a new deal with RECORDS/Columbia Records and will release her upcoming debut project later this year.

“Lennon’s unique artistry, point of view, distinctive vocal ability and star-power is simply overwhelming,” says Barry Weiss, Partner & Co-Founder, RECORDS. “We’re super excited to have her here at RECORDS. I’m elated that Jenna Andrews (who does A&R for the label) brought her to us.”

“I feel so lucky to work hand in hand with this incredible and inspiring group of people. There are no words to describe the feeling of finally being able to release my own music, something I have always dreamed of,” says Stella.

On the still-untitled collection, Stella has worked with songwriters including Amy Wadge, Maureen “MoZella” McDonald, Sarah Aarons, Trey Campbell, Sean Douglas, Max McElligott, Ali Tamposi, Chloe Angelides, Emily Warren, Fiona Bevan, Caitlyn Scarlett, Ella Henderson, Nate Cyphert, Parson James, Sam Fisher, Bipolar Sunshine, Elliphant, Ashlyn Wilson, and Jenna Andrews.

Among the producers backing Stella on the project are Joel Little, Ajay “Stint” Bhattacharyya, Jonny Lattimer, MNEK, Alex Hope, Gladius James, Daniel “Robopop” Omelio, Two Inch Punch, Philip “Pip” Kembo, Tommy English, Jesse Shatkin, Big Taste, Jason Evigan, M-Phazes, Alex Niceforo, Benny Cassette, Steve Mostyn, Joe Janiak, and The Monsters & Strangerz.

Noah Cyrus has released her new promotional single online.

“Almost Famous” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Ilsey Juber, whose other credits include Mariah Carey’s “Infinity,” Shawn Mendes’ “Mercy,” Beyonce’s “All Night,” Majid Jordan’s “My Love,” Bea Miller’s “Yes Girl,” Jake Miller’s “Overnight,” Martin Garrix’s “In the Name of Love,” and Tinashe’s “Flame.”

Production duties on “Almost Famous” were handled by Dan Wilson, who is also responsible for Adele’s “Someone Like You,” Taylor Swift’s “Come Back … Be Here,” LeAnn Rimes’ “Borrowed,” Foxes’ “Devil Side,” Pink’s “The Great Escape,” and Florence & The Machine’s “Conductor.”

As mention in earlier posts, Cyrus’ upcoming debut studio collection “NC-17” – featuring singles “Make Me (Cry),” “I’m Stuck,” “Stay Together” and the Max Martin-produced “We Are Fucked” – will arrive later this year via Ron Perry’s SONGS Music Publishing and Barry Weiss’ label RECORDS.

Noah Cyrus has shared a new performance video online.

The American singer/songwriter posted the acoustic rendition of “Almost Famous” to her Vevo channel on Tuesday (May 09, 2017).

The track was co-written by Ilsey Juber, whose other credits include Hey Violet’s “Guys My Age,” Britney Spears’ “Man on the Moon,” Shawn Mendes’ “Mercy,” Nick Jonas’ “Unhinged,” Beyonce’s “All Night,” Martin Garrix’s “In the Name of Love,” Jake Miller’s “Overnight,” and K. Michelle’s “If It Ain’t Love.”

Production duties on “Almost Famous” were handled by Dan Wilson, who is also responsible for Adele’s “Someone Like You,” John Legend’s “You and I (Nobody in the World),” Pink’s “The Great Escape,” Taylor Swift’s “Come Back … Be Here,” Foxes’ “Devil Side,” and LeAnn Rimes’ “Borrowed.”

“Stay Together” – which was co-written by Emily Warren and Brittany “Brit” Burton – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on “Stay Together” were handled by Digital Farm Animals (born Nicholas Gale), who is also responsible for Dua Lipa’s “Be the One,” Annalisa’s “Used to You,” Galantis’ “No Money,” Alex Newell’s “Shame,” Rudimental’s “All That Love,” and JONES’ “Wild.”

Fans of the British DJ, record producer, singer, songwriter and remixer’s work should also keep an eye on the next projects by Liza Owen, JP Cooper, GNASH, Era Istrefi, Liam Payne, KStewart, Fifth Harmony, Louis Tomlinson, Chromeo, Rita Ora, Sigma, John Newman, Anne-Marie, and Louisa Johnson.

Noah Cyrus has confirmed the details for her new single.

The American singer/songwriter christened “Stay Together” as the second promotional cut from her debut album, “NC-17,” and will release it on April 14 via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Brittany “Brit” Burton (Jessie J, 5 Seconds of Summer) and Emily Warren (The Chainsmokers, Shawn Mendes).

Production duties on “Stay Together” were handled by British musician Nicholas “Digital Farm Animals” Gale, who also contributed the next projects by Rita Ora, Dua Lipa, Taya, John Newman, Louisa Johnson, Marlon Roudette, GNASH, Conrad Sewell, Sigma, Anne-Marie, KStewart, Liam Payne, Astrid S, Chromeo, JP Cooper, Liza Owen, Kat Dahlia, Louis Tomlinson, Mabel McVey, DAECOLM, Emma Bale, and Fifth Harmony.

As mentioned in earlier posts, “NC-17” – featuring the Labrinth-assisted “Make Me (Cry)” and Ilsey Juber-penned / Dan Wilson-produced “Almost Famous” – will arrive later this year via Songs Music Publishing / RECORDS.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further productions from Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem, Two Inch Punch, Big Taste, Jonas Jeberg, DannyBoyStyles, Carl Falk, Ariel Rechtshaid, and Isabella “Isa Machine” Summers.

The singer, songwriter, musician, producer, and visual artist’s credits include Adele’s “Someone Like You,” The Weeknd’s “Sidewalks,” Taylor Swift’s “Come Back … Be Here,” Aquilo’s “Almost Over,” Phantogram’s “Cruel World,” LeAnn Rimes’ “Borrowed,” Weezer’s “California Kids,” Foxes’ “Devil Side,” Pink’s “The Great Escape,” and Florence & The Machine’s “Conductor.”

Wilson’s latest studio collection “Love Without Fear” – featuring “When it Pleases You,” “Your Brighter Days,” “I Can Never Stay Mad at You,” “Too Much” and “We Belong Together” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Cyrus, on the other hand, is expected to release “NC-17” – featuring the Labrinth-assisted “Make Me Cry” and Ilsey Juber-penned “Almost Famous” – later this year via Songs Music Publishing / RECORDS.

The highly-anticipated album reportedly delivers additional alliances with Digital Farm Animals (Hailee Steinfeld), Noonie Bao (Charli XCX), Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem (Kelly Clarkson), Sam Romans (Little Mix), Two Inch Punch (Kacy Hill), Emily Warren (Dua Lipa) and Ross Golan (Charlie Puth).
