Miguel selects title for fourth studio collection

Miguel has selected the title for his upcoming fourth album.

The American singer/songwriter (born Miguel Jontel Pimentel) christened his next studio collection “War & Leisure” and will release it later this year via Bystorm Entertainment / RCA Records.

Lead promotional single “Sky Walker” – which was co-written and produced by regular collaborator Happy Perez – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Follow-up single “Shock and Awe” was co-written with Warren “Oak” Felder (Usher), Andrew “Pop” Wansel (Chris Brown), Steve “Aceface” Mostyn (Prince Royce) and Ronald “Flip” Colson (Kendrick Lamar).

Other musicians expected to appear on “War & Leisure” are Raphael Saadiq (Adrian Marcel), Fraser T. Smith (Craig David), Emile Haynie (Bruno Mars), James “Malay” Ho (Sam Smith), Dave Sitek (Theophilus London), Salaam Remi (Mack Wilds) and Fisticuffs (Jazmine Sullivan).

Miguel’s last studio collection, 2015’s “Wildheart,” debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Coffee,” “Going to Hell,” “NWA” and “What’s Normal Anyway.”

Ella Mai delivers new mini-collection “Ready”

Ella Mai has delivered her new EP online.

“Ready” – featuring six new songs in the shape of “Boo’d Up,” “Breakfast in Bed,” “Nobody Else,” “My Way,” “Makes Me Wonder” and “Anymore” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The mini-collection was entirely produced by DJ Mustard, whose credits also include Rihanna’s “Needed Me,” Justine Skye’s “Collide,” Keyshia Cole’s “She,” Trey Songz’s “Na Na,” Jordin Sparks’ “It Ain’t You,” and Tinashe’s “2 On.”

Other EP producers include Larrance “Rance” Dopson (Kendrick Lamar), Twice as Nice (Rita Ora), Willie Tafa (Ariana Grande), James Royo (Britney Spears), J. Proof (Usher) and Ronald “Flip” Colson (K. Michelle).

On the songwriting front, Mai was teamed up with Sam Romans (Sigma, Craig David), Joelle James (Chris Brown, Tamar Braxton), Samuel Jean (Miley Cyrus, Keri Hilson) and Talay Riley (Dua Lipa, Nick Jonas).

Ella Mai announces details for new mini-collection

Ella Mai has announced the details for her new mini-collection.

The British singer-songwriter christened her next EP “Ready” and will release it on February 24 via DJ Mustard’s label 10 Summers Records.

Current promotional single “Anymore” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Talay Riley, whose other credits include Wilkinson’s “Afterglow,” Dua Lipa’s “Last Dance,” Nick Jonas’ “Levels,” Kelela’s “All the Way Down,” Ellie Goulding’s “In My City,” Clams Casino’s “A Breath Away.”

Production duties on “Anymore” were collectively handled by DJ Mustard (Rihanna, Keyshia Cole), Jameel “J. Proof” Roberts (Usher, Gabi Wilson) and Ronald “Flip” Colson (Sydney Bennett, K. Michelle).

Other tracks slotted for inclusion on “Ready,” which serves as the follow-up to 2016’s “Change” EP,” are “Boo’d Up,” “Breakfast in Bed,” “Nobody Else,” “My Way” and “Makes Me Wonder.”

The Internet’s Syd delivers debut solo album “Fin”

American alternative R&B and neo soul singer-songwriter Syd – real name Sydney Bennett – has released her debut album online.

“Fin” – featuring promotional singles “All About Me” and “Body” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

In addition to co-writing every song on the album, Syd solely produced three cuts in the shape of “No Complaints,” “Nothin to Somethin” and “Smile More.”

Other producers backing The Internet’s lead vocalist on “Fin” are Hit-Boy (Rihanna, John Legend), Hazebanga (Santigold, Jessie Reyez), Anthony Kilhoffer (Common, Kanye West), Melo-X (Beyonce, Diana Gordon), Flip (Usher, Alicia Keys) and Rahki (Lecrae, Kendrick Lamar).

“Heart Flavored Summer” is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with ByStorm Entertainment and RCA Records.

The mini-collection features four new songs in the shape of “Heart Flavored Sucker,” “I Just Can’t,” “The One” and the Kid Ink-assisted “Simple.

EP producers include B.A.M. (Ne-Yo, K. Michelle), Warren “Oak” Felder (Miguel, Elle Varner), Andrew “Pop” Wansel (Usher, Chris Brown), Ronald “Flip” Colson (Rihanna, Sevyn Streeter) and Steve Mostyn (Brandy, Nicki Minaj).

Treasure Davis has shared her new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “Heart Flavored Sucker” to her Vevo channel on Tuesday (May 26, 2015).

Production duties on “Sucker” were handled by Brandon “B.A.M.” Hodge, whose other credits include Chris Brown’s “Autumn Leaves” [RCA], K. Michelle’s “Love ‘Em All” [Atlantic] and Kandace Springs’ “Love Got in the Way” [Capitol].

The Luke Christopher-assisted track is also lifted from the Davis’ upcoming mini-album, “Heart Flavored Summer,” out soon via iTunes in partnership with ByStorm Entertainment  and RCA Records.

Other musicians backing Davis on “Heart Flavored Summer” are Warren Felder (Usher, Jennifer Lopez), Andrew Wansel (Miguel, Alicia Keys), Steve Mostyn (Tamia, Emeli Sande) and Ronald Colson (Brandy, Wiz Khalifa).

The singer and songwriter christened her upcoming mini-collection “Heart Flavored Summer” and will release it later this year.

Current single “Simple” – featuring Kid Ink – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with ByStorm Entertainment and RCA Records.

“Heart Flavored Summer” boasts further collaborations with Warren Felder (Miguel, Jennifer Lopez), Andrew Wansel (Rihanna, Trey Songz), Ronald Colson (Elle Varner, K. Michelle) and Steve Mostyn (Sia, Alicia Keys).

On the songwriting front, David co-wrote “Talking in My Sleep” for Chante Moore along with Sam Watters and Louis Biancaniello. The track appears on Moore’s latest album, “Moore is More,” out now via Shanachie Records.
