Tinashe has teamed with Rock City, Dr. Luke and Cirkut on new material.

It is yet to be known whether the session was intended for planned re-release of Tinashe’s debut album “Aquarius” or her upcoming sophomore studio collection.

Rock City – consisting of siblings Theron and Timothy Thomas – are responsible for co-writing Ciara’s “I Bet” [Epic Records], Keyshia Cole’s “New Nu” [Interscope Records] and Rihanna’s “Pour it Up” [Def Jam Recordings].

Meanwhile, Dr. Luke and Cirkut are known for producing GRL’s “Ugly Heart” [Kemosabe / RCA Records], Nicki Minaj’s “Pills N Potions” [Cash Money / Republic Records] and Katy Perry’s “Roar” [Capitol Records].

Tinashe recently announced “All Hands on Deck” – featuring Iggy Azalea – as the next promotional single from her debut album “Aquarius.” The track was co-written by Bebe Rexha and produced by Stargate and Cashmere Cat.

Her next project is said to feature further collaborations with producers and songwriters including Jack Antonoff, Taylor Parks, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Chloe Angelides and Joshua “Ammo” Coleman.

Usher hits the studio with Dapo Torimiro for new album?

Usher has recorded new material with Dapo Torimiro.

It is yet to be known whether the session was intended for Usher’s upcoming eighth album under Sony Music Entertainment imprint RCA Records.

Torimiro recently co-wrote and produced “1996” for Ella Henderson. The track appears on the British singer/songwriter’s debut album, “Chapter One,” now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Syco Music.

Other notable songwriting and production duties by Torimiro include Little Mix’s “Always Be Together” [Columbia Records], Toni Braxton’s “Woman” [Atlantic Records] and Jordin Sparks’ “No Parade” [19 Recordings].

Meanwhile, Usher is scheduled to release his next studio collection and follow-up to 2012’s “Looking 4 Myself” later this year.

Current single “I Don’t Mind” was helmed by Rock City (Ciara, Nicki Minaj), Dr. Luke (Rihanna, Katy Perry) and Cirkut (Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears).

The highly-anticipated LP boasts further alliances with Da Internz (John Legend, Christina Aguilera), RoccStarr (Fergie, Jennifer Hudson), Mike WiLL Made It (Tinashe, Kelly Rowland) and Max Martin (Kelis, Taylor Swift).

Ciara has released her new single online.

“I Bet” – which marks the first promotional cut from the artist’s upcoming album “Jackie” – is now available for download via iTunes (US) in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment imprint Epic Records.

The track was co-written by siblings Royce and Theron Thomas of Rock City, who are also co-responsible for GRL’s “Lighthouse” [Kemosabe Records] and Fergie’s “L.A. Love (La La)” [Interscope Records].

Production duties on “I Bet” were handled by Harmony Samuels, whose resume includes further works for Tamar Braxton (“Let Me Know”), Jasmine V (“That’s Me Right There”) and Teyana Taylor (“Put Your Love On”).

Other musicians backing Ciara on “Jackie” include Polow Da Don (Monica, Keri Hilson), Soundz (Usher, K. Michelle), Mike WiLL Made It (Brandy, Mariah Carey), Dr. Luke (Rihanna, Nicki Minaj) and Cirkut (Azealia Banks, Katy Perry).

The highly-anticipated new album serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Ciara,” which peaked to number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “Body Party” and “Overdose.”

GRL reveal music video for new single “Lighthouse”

GRL have revealed the music video for their new single online.

The girl group posted the visual clip for “Lighthouse” to their official Vevo page on Wednesday (January 14, 2018).

“Lighthouse” – now available for download via iTunes (US) – was written by siblings Royce Thomas and Theron Thomas of Rock City along with Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald and Henry “Cirkut” Walter.

This song is a tribute to deceased band member, Simone Battle. The band have stated that they will carry on with her memory in everything they do, and are devastated by the loss, but will continue on.

GRL’s upcoming as-yet-untitled debut album is expected to hit stores later this year via Kemosabe Records in partnership with RCA Records.

The singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “I Bet” to her official Vevo page on Tuesday (January 13, 2015).

“I Bet” was co-written by siblings Theron and Royce Thomas of Rock City, who previously teamed with the artist on “I’m Out” and “Keep On Looking.”

The duo are also co-responsible for Becky G’s “Shower” [Kemosabe Records], Keyshia Cole “New Nu” [Interscope Records], Rihanna’s “Man Down” [Def Jam Recordings] and Usher’s “I Don’t Mind” [RCA Records].

Production duties on “I Bet” were handled by Harmony “H-Money” Samuels, whose other credits include Tamar Braxton’s “Let Me Know” [Epic Records] and Jasmine V’s “That’s Me Right There” [Interscope Records].

He also confirmed placements on the next projects by Melissa Steel [Atlantic Records], Gabi Wilson [RCA Records], Pia Mia [Interscope Records], LeToya Luckett [Entertainment One Music Group] and Jojo [Atlantic Records].

Ciara’s upcoming sixth studio collection, “Jackie,” is due later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

Nicki Minaj has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The rapper, singer and songwriter posted the Hannah Lux Davis-directed clip for “Only” to her official Vevo page on Friday (December 12, 2014).

“Only” – featuring Drake, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown – is lifted from the artist’s upcoming third album, “The Pinkprint,” out on December 15 via iTunes in partnership with Cash Money Records and Republic Records.

Production duties on “Only” were handled by Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald (Katy Perry, Avril Lavigne), Henry “Cirkut” Walter (Rihanna, Miley Cyrus) and Jeremy “JMike” Coleman (Selena Gomez, Britney Spears).

The follow-up to 2012’s “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded” also includes previous promotional cuts, the Ester Dean-assisted “Pills N Potions” and Da Internz / Polow Da Don -produced “Anaconda.”

Nicki Minaj has unwrapped the official tracklisting for her upcoming album.

The rapper, singer and songwriter will release her third studio collection “The Pinkprint” on December 15 via Cash Money Records and Republic Records.

Current single “Only” – which features Drake, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown – is now available for download via iTunes (US). The track was helmed by Dr. Luke, Cirkut, JMike and Rocky City (siblings Theron and Royce Thomas).

Other artists backing Minaj on “The Pinkprint” are Beyonce (“Feeling Myself”), Ariana Grande (“Get on Your Knees”), Jeremih (“Favorite”), Meek Mill (“Buy a Heart”) and Skylar Grey (“Bed of Roses”).
