Colbie Caillat releases new album “The Malibu Sessions”

Colbie Caillat has released her sixth studio collection online.

“The Malibu Sessions” – featuring singled “Goldmine” and “Cruisin” – is now available for  download via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

For the follow-up to 2014’s “Gypsy Heart,” Caillat has teamed up with frequent collaborators Mikal Blue and Justin Young alongside Danielle Leverett and Jason Reeves Young of High Dive Heart.

Other album contributors include Toby Gad (Beyonce, John Legend), Kara DioGuardi (Matoma, Christina Aguilera), John Shanks (Lea Michele, Christina Perri) and Rune Westberg (Prince Royce, Jessica Sanchez).

Sabrina Carpenter shares details for new album “Evolution”

Sabrina Carpenter has shared the details for her sophomore album.

The actress-singer-songwriter christened her second studio collection “Evolution” and will release it on October 14 via Hollywood Records.

Current single “On Purpose” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written and produced by Ido Zmishlany, who also teamed up with Carpenter on “Smoke and Fire.”

The keenly-awaited project reportedly delivers additional productions from Billy Steinberg (Madonna), Josh Alexander (Leona Lewis), Emanuel Kiriakou (Britney Spears), Mitch Allan (Demi Lovato) and Rune Westberg (Colbie Caillat).

On the songwriting front, Carpenter has teamed with Steph Jones (Chris Lane), Daniel Kyriakides (Olly Murs), Maegan Cottone (Little Mix), Lindy Robbins (Jason Derulo), Evan Bogart (Rihanna), and Chelsea Lena (Pia Mia).

Carpenter’s first studio collection, 2015’s “Eyes Wide Open,” debuted at number forty-three on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned the Meghan Trainor-penned “Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying.”

Colbie Caillat has released her new single online.

“Never Got Away” – taken from the singer-songwriter’s upcoming album “The Malibu Sessions” – is now available for download via iTunes.

Caillat wrote “Never Got Away” along with regular collaborators Jason Reeves of High Dive Heart and Rune Westberg.

As mentioned in earlier posts, “The Malibu Sessions” – featuring previous single “Goldmine” – is scheduled to arrive on October 7 via Plummy Lou Records.

Other musicians backing Caillat on the follow-up to 2014’s “Gypsy Heart” are Toby Gad (Lea Michele, Carly Rae Jepsen), Kara DioGuardi (Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears), and John Shanks (Leona Lewis, Natasha Bedingfield).

Colbie Caillat has announced the details for her new single.

The singer-songwriter christened “Goldmine” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming fifth album “The Malibu Sessions” and will release it on July 22.

“Goldmine” was written by Colbie Caillat along with Kara DioGuardi, Taylor Berrett, and Jason Reeves of High Dive Heart.

As mentioned in earlier posts, “The Malibu Sessions” is expected to arrive later this year through Universal Music Group / Republic Records.

The highly anticipated project boasts further contributions from Toby Gad (Beyonce, Alicia Keys), John Shanks (Miley Cyrus, Lea Michele), and Rune Westberg (Prince Royce, Adam Lambert).

Caillat’s previous studio collection, 2014’s “Gypsy Heart,” peaked to number seventeen on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned the Babyface-produced singles “Try” and “Just Like That.”

Prince Royce unveils music video for new single “Extraordinary”

Prince Royce has unveiled the music video for his new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Extraordinary” to his Vevo channel on Monday (July 06, 2015).

Production duties on “Extraordinary” were handled by Rune Westberg, whose other credits include Colbie Caillat (“Floodgates”), Jessica Sanchez (“Crazy Glue”) and Kristinia DeBarge (“Died in Your Eyes”).

Royce’s debut English album “Double Vision” – featuring previous singles “Stuck on a Feeling” (featuring Snoop Dogg) and “Back it Up” (featuring Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull) – will hit stores on July 24 through RCA Records.

The highly-anticipated CD boasts additional alliances Jason Evigan (Madonna, Kelly Clarkson), Steve Mostyn (Jason Derulo, Alicia Keys), RoccStar (Zendaya, Chris Brown) and Ilya Salmanzadeh (Ariana Grande, Tori Kelly).

Current single “Try” – written by Caillat along with Jason Reeves, Antonio Dixon and Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds – is now available for download via iTunes.

The follow-up to 2012’s “Christmas in the Sand” boasts further productions and songwriting contributions from Daryl Simmons, Ross Golan, Johan Carlsson, David Hodges, Julian Bunetta, and Rune Westberg.
