Alx Luke releases new promotional single “Wasted”

American singer, songwriter, and Circus Aerial Artist Luke has released his new promotional single online.

“Wasted” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by fellow recording artist Jaden Michaels, whose other credits include Jojo (“I Am”), Jessica Mauboy (“To the End of the Earth”), Carly Rae Jepsen (“Drive”), Candice Glover (“I Am Beautiful”), Jessica Sanchez (“Change Nothing”) and Lea Michele (“Louder”).

Production duties on “Wasted” were handled by RyKeyz, who is also responsible for Fantasia’s “Man of the House,” Wiz Khalifa’s “Got Everything,” Little Mix’s “Mr. Loverboy,” and Rak-Su’s “I Want You to Freak.”

Luke’s upcoming yet-to-be-titled debut project – featuring previous promotional single Tainted Love” – is expected to arrive later this year.

Arlissa releases acoustic version of new single “Let This Go”

American-German singer/songwriter Arlissa Ruppert, known mononymously as Arlissa, has released the acoustic version of her new single online.

“Let This Go” – which was written by Arlissa alongside Sam Fisher, Jamal “Digi” Chammas, Jonathan Hoskins, and Justin Scott Lucas – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Arlissa’s upcoming project is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Def Jam Recordings.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers alliances with Malay, Jesse Shatkin, Anita Blay, RyKeyz, Geoffrey Warburton, Sinai Tedross, Martin Sjolie, Andre Harris, MoZella, Jonny Hockings, Lostboy, Sidnie Tipton, Martin Terefe, T-Collar, Pip Kembo, Stint, Kameron Grae, Wrabel, and Jeff Kleinman.

Rak-Su release new mini-album “Rome”

British group Rak-Su – composed of Ashley Fongho, Jamaal Shurland, Mustafa Rahimtulla and Myles Stephenson – have released their new EP online.

“Rome” – featuring four new songs in the shape of “Into It,” “Thunder,” “Stick Around” and “Blood Ties” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The new project boasts productions and songwriting contributions from Banx & Ranx (Ella Eyre), Lil Eddie (Prince Royce), Chris Loco (Sabrina Claudio), RyKeyz (Fantasia Barrino), Amy Allen (Halsey), Tre Jean-Marie (Joy Crookes), Andrew Wells (Bebe Rexha) and Jacob Manson (Craig David).

Arlissa taps James “Malay” Ho for new collaboration

American-German singer/songwriter Arlissa Ruppert, known mononymously as Arlissa, has tapped Malay for a new collaboration.

The Grammy award-winning record producer and songwriter (born James Ho) has previously worked with Sam Smith (“Midnight Train”), Frank Ocean (“Nikes”), Zayn Malik (“It’s You”), Alessia Cara (“Wild Things”), Tori Kelly (“Talk”), Alicia Keys (“One Thing”) and John Legend (“Green Light”).

Fans of Malay’s songwriting and production works should also keep an eye on the next releases by Jazmine Sullivan, Zhavia Ward, Fletcher, Lennon Stella, Kai, Ingrid Andress, and RuthAnne.

Meanwhile, Arlissa’s current single “We Won’t Move” – which was co-written by Jessica “Harloe” Karpov and produced by Kevin White and Mike Woods of Rice N Peas – appears on the original motion picture soundtrack, “The Hate U Give.”

Her upcoming debut project under Def Jam Recordings reportedly yields further contributions from Jesse Shatkin, RyKeyz, Geoffrey Warburton, Martin Sjolie, Sam Fischer, Lostboy, Andre Harris, Martin Terefe, Jonny Hockings, T-Collar, Pip Kembo, Stint, Kameron Grae, and Wrabel.

Arlissa has recruited the songwriting and production services of Wrabel and Stint for her upcoming project under Def Jam Recordings.

Besides co-writing and providing guest vocals on Afrojack’s international hit single “Ten Feet Tall,” Wrabel has also penned songs for Ellie Goulding (“Devotion”), Kesha (“Woman”), Galantis (“True Feeling”), Kygo (“With You”) and Backstreet Boys (“Don’t Go Breaking My Heart”).

Meanwhile, Stint (born Ajay Bhattacharyya) is responsible for helming Alina Baraz’s “Feels Right,” Nao’s “Drive and Disconnect,” Jessie Ware’s “Alone,” Sabrina Claudio’s “Unravel Me,” Demi Lovato’s “Tell Me You Love Me,” AlunaGeorge’s “Jealous,” and Zara Larsson’s “Make That Money Girl.”

Arlissa has tapped the songwriting and production services of Maureen “MoZella” McDonald and Jesse Shatkin for her upcoming debut album.

MoZella’s songwriting resume boasts works with Miley Cyrus (“Wrecking Ball”), Charlie Puth (“One Call Away”), Rihanna (“Dancing in the Dark”), Ellie Goulding (“Don’t Panic”), Madonna (“Living for Love”), Rachel Platten (“Speechless”), Tinashe (“Feels Like Vegas”) and Miranda Lambert (“Secrets”).

Besides working with MoZella on songs performed by Kelly Clarkson (“Love So Soft”) and One Direction (“Perfect”); Shatkin is also responsible for co-writing/producing Sia’s “Chandelier,” Rihanna’s “Sledgehammer,” Camila Cabello’s “I Have Questions,” Foxes’ “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now,” Paloma Faith’s “Till I’m Done,” and Charlie Puth’s “Up All Night.”

Meanwhile, Arlissa’s upcoming debut album is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Def Jam Recordings.

Jessica Sanchez drafts Lil’ Eddie for new album

Jessica Sanchez

Jessica Sanchez is making new music with Lil’ Eddie.

The hit singer and songwriter – born Edwin Serrano – recently co-wrote “Count on My Love” by Tessanne Chin [Republic Records] and “Give Me Something” by Alex & Sierra [Syco Music / Columbia Records].

His extensive resume also includes works for Usher [RCA Records], Kylie Minogue [Parlophone Records], Fifth Harmony [Epic Records], Jessie J [Republic Records] and Rita Ora [Columbia Records].

Sanchez, meanwhile, is reportedly putting the final touches on her upcoming second studio collection.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Me, You & The Music,” which featured hit single “Tonight” featuring vocals from Ne-Yo.

Other musicians Sanchez recently collaborated with are Beau Dozier (Beyonce, Nicole Scherzinger), Roahn Hylton (Keyshia Cole, Nicki Minaj), Stargate (Tinashe, Bebe Rexha) and Ryan Williamson (Fantasia, Little Mix).
