Charlotte OC liberates debut album “Careless People”

British singer/songwriter Charlotte OC – real name Charlotte O’Connor – has liberated her first studio collection online.

“Careless People” – featuring singles “Darkest Hour,” “Shell” and “Medicine Man” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The highly-anticipated project boasts productions from Tim Anderson (BANKS), Jon Levine (Bebe Rexha), Chris Spilfogel (Halsey), Daniel Nigro (Sky Ferreira), Trevor Lawrence Jr. (Bruno Mars) and Linda Perry (Alicia Keys).

Album songwriters include Laura “LP” Pergolizzi (Rihanna), Sean Foreman (Kesha), Jarrad Rogers (Betty Who), Sacha Skarbek (Lana Del Rey), Francis “Eg” White (Mary J. Blige), Nate Campany (Ellie Goulding), Daniel Weber (POWERS), Tom Aspaul (Liza Owen) and Martin Sjolie (Maria Mena).

Charlotte OC releases acoustic rendition of “Darkest Hour”

British singer/songwriter Charlotte OC has released a new song online.

The acoustic rendition of “Darkest Hour” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Charlotte OC alongside Jarrad Rogers (Demi Lovato, Rita Ora) and Sean Foreman (Kesha, Ariana Grande).

Production duties on “Darkest Hour” were handled by Tim Anderson, whose other credits include BANKS’ “Mind Games,” Sam Sparrow’s “Yellow Orange Rays,” Halsey’s “Hurricane,” and Solange’s “Sleep in the Park.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Charlotte OC will release her sophomore studio collection “Careless People” on March 31 via Harvest Records.

The highly-anticipated project delivers further songwriters contributions from Tom Aspaul (Celeste Waite), Andrew Jackson (Ellie Goulding), Nate Campany (Tori Kelly), Daniel Nigro (Sky Ferreira) and Laura “LP” Pergolizzi (Becky Hill).

On the follow-up to 2011’s “For Kenny,” Charlotte OC has also worked with Francis “Eg” White (Sam Smith), Martin Sjolie (Maria Mena), Jone Levine (Bebe Rexha), Sacha Skarbek (Lana Del Rey) and Adam Argyle (Ella Henderson).

BOOTS hints at new collaboration with Kesha

BOOTS has hinted at a new collaboration with Kesha.

“I have worked with @KeshaRose and she is a wonderful, talented, funny and beautiful human being with a golden heart. I support and love her,” the American singer, songwriter, rapper, and record producer tweeted.

BOOTS – real name Jordan Asher – first gained recognition for helming co-writing and co-producing “Blue,” “Haunted,” “Jealous,” “Heaven,” “Drunk in Love,” “No Angel” and “Partition” on Beyonce’s 2013 self-titled album, which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

His other songwriting and production credits include FKA twigs’ “Figure 8,” Kelela’s “A Message,” Mikky Ekko’s “Pretend You Care,” Young Circles’ “Bones,” Run the Jewels’ “Early,” and Autolux’s “Hamster Suite.”

Meanwhile, Kesha is expected to release her next album later this year via Kemosabe Records in partnership with RCA Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further productions from Ricky Reed (Christina Aguilera), Stuart Crichton (Ferras), Captain Cuts (Bebe Rexha), Sacha Skarbek (Lana Del Rey) and Ryan Tedder (Ed Sheeran).

On the songwriting front, Kesha has worked with Taylor Parks (Alicia Keys), Chelcee Grimes (Calvin Harris), Stephen Wrabel (Ellie Goulding) and Justin Tranter (Britney Spears).

BOOTS’ sophomore album “Aquaria,” on the other hand, is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

“Medicine Man” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Laura “LP” Pergolizzi, whose other credits include Rihanna’s “Cheers (Drink to That),” Christina Aguilera’s “Beautiful People,” Ella Henderson’s “Mirror Man,” Leona Lewis’ “Fingerprint,” and Cher’s “Red.”

Production duties on “Medicine Man” were handled by Jon “The Rabbi” Levine, who is also responsible for Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song,” Dua Lipa’s “Blow Your Mind (Mwah),” and Bebe Rexha’s “I’m Gonna Show You Crazy.”

The British singer/songwriter christened her second album “Careless People” and will release it on March 31 via Harvest Records.

Current promotional singles “Blackout” and “Darkest Hour” are now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2011’s “For Kenny” delivers productions from Tim Anderson (Solange), MSTR ROGERS (Charli XCX), Sacha Skarbek (Lana Del Rey), Francis “Eg” White (Sam Smith) and Martin Sjolie (Ella Henderson).

On the songwriting front, Charlotte OC has teamed up with Laura “LP” Pergolizzi (Christina Aguilera), Nate Campany (Ellie Goulding), Daniel Nigro (Sky Ferreira) and Tom Aspaul (Kylie Minogue).

Una Healy announces new single “Stay My Love”

Una Healy has announced the details for her new single.

The Irish singer-songwriter christened “Stay My Love” as the lead single from her upcoming debut album “The Waiting Game” and will release it on January 13 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The Sam Palladio-featuring track was co-written by Amy Wadge, whose other credits include Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Load,” Geri Halliwell’s “If You Love Someone,” and Matt Terry’s “When Christmas Comes Around.”

Other musicians backing Healy on “The Waiting Game” are Paul Meehan, Brian Rawling, Fiona Bevan, Jez Ashurst, Sacha Skarbek, Jack McManus, Rachel Furner, Nick Atkinson, Edd Holloway, and Ben Earle of The Shires.

The highly-anticipated collection – featuring previous promotional singles “Angel Like You” and “The Waiting Game” – is scheduled to arrive on February 10 via Universal Music Group / Decca Records.

Kesha has reportedly added Ryan Tedder to the list of contributors for her upcoming third album.

The OneRepublic frontman is known for co-writing and producing Leona Lewis’ “Bleeding Love,” Beyonce’s “Halo,” Natasha Bedingfield’s “Love Like This,” Gwen Stefani “Baby Don’t Lie,” and Taylor Swift’s “Welcome to New York.”

Tedder’s resume boasts further works with Adele (“Remedy”), Demi Lovato (“Wildfire”), Ariana Grande (“Why Try”), Ellie Goulding (“Keep on Dancing”), Madonna (“Hold Tight”) and Christina Aguilera (“We Remain”).

Meanwhile, Kesha is expected to release her next album later this year via Kemosabe Records in partnership with RCA Records.
