Katharine McPhee has plugged a new song online.

The singer, songwriter, and actress posted the audio clip for “Stranger Than Fiction” to her Vevo channel on Tuesday (August 18, 2015).

“Stranger Than Fiction” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by McPhee along with Ali Tamposi (Ciara, Kelly Clarkson), Smith Carlson (Taylor Swift, Ella Henderson) and Ryan Tedder (Leona Lewis, Gwen Stefani).

McPhee’s upcoming studio collection “Hysteria” – featuring the Isa Machine-produced / Sam Sparro-assisted “Lick My Lips” – is slated to hit stores and digital outlets on September 18 through Entertainment One Music.

Other album contributors include Chris Braide (Lana Del Rey, Britney Spears), Kelly Sheehan (Beyonce, Rita Ora), Chris Loco (Ella Eyre, Sinead Harnett), Sia (Rihanna, Katy Perry) and Jon Bellion (CeeLo Green, Jason Derulo).

Katharine McPhee has unwrapped the tracklisting for her upcoming album.

The actress, singer and songwriter will release “Hysteria” on September 18 through Entertainment One Music.

Lead single “Lick My Lips” – which was co-written by fellow recording artist Sam Sparrow and produced Isabella “Isa Machine” Summers of Florence and the Machine – is now available for download via iTunes.

Other songwriters backing McPhee on the follow-up to 2010’s “Christmas is the Time to Say I Love You” are Sia Furler (Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez), Kelly Sheehan (Beyonce, Rita Ora) and Ali Tamposi (Ciara, Kelly Clarkson).

On the production front, McPhee has teamed up with Chris Loco (Emeli Sande, Kylie Minogue), Jon Bellion (Eminem, CeeLo Green), Ryan Tedder (Ella Henderson, Leona Lewis) and Chris Braide (Britney Spears, Lana Del Rey).

“Hysteria” is scheduled to hit stores and digital outlets on September 18 through Entertainment One Music.

Lead single “Lick My Lips” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by Florence + the Machine member Isabella “Isa Machine” Summers along with Australian singer/songwriter Sam Sparro.

Other musicians backing McPhee on “Hysteria” are Ryan Tedder (Beyonce, Leona Lewis), Sia (Rihanna, Katy Perry), Ina Wroldsen (Shakira, Calvin Harris) and Terius “The-Dream” Nash (Jennifer Lopez, Kelly Rowland).

Katharine McPhee has reunited with Ryan Tedder for her upcoming album.

Tedder previously produced and co-wrote “Touch Me” for McPhee along with Bonnie McKee (Katy Perry, Rita Ora), Noel Zancanella (Ellie Goulding, Leona Lewis), and Brent Kutzle (Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson).

His other credits include Madonna’s “Hold Tight” [Interscope Records], Adele’s “Rumor Has It” [XL Recordings], Gwen Stefani’s “Baby Don’t Lie” [Mad Love Records] and Ella Henderson’s “Ghost” [Syco Music].

Meanwhile, McPhee is scheduled to release her fourth studio collection “Hysteria” on July 24 through Entertainment One Music.

Lead single “Lick My Lips” is now available for download via iTunes. The track was co-written by Isabella “Isa Machine” Summers (Conor Maynard, Florence Welch) and Sam Sparro (Adam Lambert, Nile Rodgers).

Katharine McPhee has premiered the music video for her new single.

The singer and songwriter posted the visual clip for “Lick My Lips” to her Vevo channel on Tuesday (May 26, 2015).

“Lick My Lips” was written by fellow artist Sam Sparro along with Isabella “Isa Machine” Summers of Florence and the Machine, who also co-wrote Iggy Azalea’s “Trouble” featuring Jennifer Hudson [Def Jam Recordings].

Video treatment was handled by Diane Martel, whose other credits include Nicki Minaj’s “Pills ‘N Potions” [Republic Records], Gwen Stefani’s “Baby Don’t Lie” [Interscope Records] and Miley Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop” [RCA Records].

As mentioned in a recent interview with Billboard magazine, McPhee will release her fourth album “Hysteria” on July 21 under Entertainment One Music.

The keenly-awaited project reportedly features further collaborations with Toby Gad (Jordin Sparks, Robin Thicke), Ina Wroldsen (Madison Beer, Janelle Monae) and The-Dream (Nicole Scherzinger, Celine Dion).

Katharine McPhee has scheduled the release date for her new single.

The singer and songwriter is plotting to unveil “Lick My Lips” on May 26 via iTunes and all other digital retailers.

“Lick My Lips” was written by Australian recording artist Sam Sparro along with Isabella Summers of Florence the Machine, whose other credits include Iggy Azalea [Virgin EMI Records] and Conor Maynard [Parlophone Records].

The track also marks the first promotional cut from McPhee’s third studio album and first offering under Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records.

Other musicians backing McPhee on the still-untitled project are Ina Wroldsen (Selena Gomez, Leona Lewis), The-Dream (Britney Spears, Nicole Scherzinger) and Toby Gad (Alicia Keys, John Legend).
