Shawn Mendes to re-release debut album “Handwritten” in November

Shawn Mendes has confirmed plans to re-release his debut album.

The Canadian singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “Handwritten – Revisited” on November 20 through Island Records.

The repackaged edition features live versions of “Kid in Love,” “I Don’t Even Know Your Name,” “Strings,” “Aftertaste” and “A Little Too Much.”

Furthermore, it includes four new songs in the shape of “Act Like You Love Me,” “Running Low,” “Memories” and one secret track.

Commercial performance-wise, the initial edition of “Handwritten” debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

That collection also delivered productions and songwriting contributions from Martin Terefe (James Blunt), Daniel Parker (Nick Jonas), Emily Warren (Britney Spears), Sam Watters (Hilary Duff) and Louis Biancaniello (Keri Hilson).

Shawn Mendes shares acoustic performance of “Stitches” with Hailee Steinfeld

Shawn Mendes has shared a new performance video online.

The singer/songwriter posted an acoustic rendition of “Stitches” – featuring Hailee Steinfeld – to his Vevo channel on Tuesday (July 28, 2015).

Songwriting and production duties on “Stitches” were handled by Teddy Geiger along with Daniel Parker (Nick Jonas, James Blunt) and Daniel “Daylight” Kyriakides (LunchMoney Lewis, Fifth Harmony).

Mendes’ debut album “Handwritten” – featuring previous promotional cuts “Life of the Party” and “Something Big” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Island Records.

Other musicians backing Mendes on “Handwritten” are Martin Terefe (James Morrison, Mary J. Blige), Sam Watters (Sevyn Streeter, Keri Hilson) and Louis Biancaniello (Jordin Sparks, Mariah Carey).

Meanwhile, Steinfeld’s debut studio collection is scheduled to hit stores later this year through Republic Records.

Lead single “Love Myself” – which was helmed by Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter along with Mattman & Robin – will be available for download from August 7 via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

Treasure Davis premieres music video for new single “The One”

Treasure Davis has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “The One” to her Vevo channel on Wednesday (June 24, 2015).

Production duties on “The One” were handled by Sam Watters and Louis Biancaniello, who are also responsible for Jordin Sparks’ “Battlefield” [Jive], Keri Hilson’s “Energy” [Interscope] and Shawn Mendes’ “Afterstate” [Island].

Furthermore, Davis co-wrote “Talking In My Sleep” for Chante Moore along with Watters and Biancaniello. The track appears on Moore’s sixth studio album “Moore is More” [Shanachie Records].

Meanwhile, Davis’ debut EP “Heart Flavored Summer” – featuring previous singles “Heart Flavored Sucker” and “Simple” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with ByStorm Entertainment and RCA Records.

The mini-collection boasts further productions from Salaam Remi (Alicia Keys, CeeLo Green), Warren “Oak” Felder (Miguel, Kelly Clarkson), Andrew “Pop” Wansel (Rihanna, Nicki Minaj) and B.A.M. (Chris Brown, K. Michelle).

Leona Lewis hits the studio with Wayne Wilkins for new album

Leona Lewis has added songwriter and record producer Wayne Wilkins to the list of contributors for her upcoming fifth studio album.

Wilkins previously co-wrote “Take a Bow” for Lewis along with Ryan “Alias” Tedder, Sam Watters and Louis Biancaniello.

More recent songwriting and production credits by Wilkins include Cheryl’s “Crazy Stupid Love” [Polydor Records], Neon Jungle’s “Can’t Stop the Love” [RCA Records] and Cassie Davis’ “No More” [Sony Music Australia].

Meanwhile, the highly-anticipated new album by Lewis is expected to be released in early 2015 via Universal Music Group / Island Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Christmas, with Love,” which peaked at number thirteen on the UK Albums Chart.

Other album contributors include Jesse Shatkin (Dido, Kylie Minogue), Autumn Rowe (Joel Compass, Karen Harding), Stephan Moccio (Celine Dion, Miley Cyrus) and Diane Warren (Beyonce, Paloma Faith).

“Just Kids” is lifted from the pop duo’s upcoming debut album, “It’s About Us,” out on October 6 via Syco Music / Columbia Records.

The track – written by group members Alex Kinsey and Sierra Deaton along with Ali Tamposi, John Ryan and Sam Hollander – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

“It’s About Us” is confirmed to yield additional productions and songwriting contributions from John Shanks, Ruth-Anne Cunningham, Toby Gad, Lil’ Eddie, Julian Bunetta, Martin Johnson, Sam Watters, John Legend, and Harry Styles.

Alex and Sierra have revealed the artwork for their upcoming debut album.

The pop duo christened their debut collection “It’s About Us” and will release it later this year via Syco Music / Columbia Records.

Lead single “Scarecrow” – written by group members Alex Kinsey and Sierra Deaton along with Martin Johnson and Sam Hollander – is now available for download via iTunes (US).

“It’s About Us” is said to feature further songwriting contributions from Sam Watters (Zendaya, Keri Hilson), John Legend (Keyshia Cole, Laura Welsh) and Ruth-Anne Cunningham (Pixie Lott, Britney Spears).

On the production front, Alex and Sierra have teamed up with Toby Gad (Natasha Bedingfield, Candice Glover), John Shanks (Lea Michele, Christina Perri) and Julian Bunetta (One Direction, Fifth Harmony).

Alex and Sierra have released the official lyric video for their new single online.

“Scarecrow” marks the first promotional single from the American pop duo’s upcoming as-yet-untitled debut album.

The track was written by group members Alex Kinsey and Sierra Deaton along with Martin Johnson and Sam Hollander, who are also responsible for Karmin’s “Acapella” and Avril Lavigne’s “Here’s to Never Growing Up.”

The indie pop duo – consisting of Alex Kinsey and Sierra Deaton – christened “Scarecrow” as the lead single from their upcoming debut album.

As previously reported, the still-untitled collection is scheduled for release later this year via Syco Music / Columbia Records.

Among the producers confirmed for the highly-anticipated project are John Shanks (Delta Goodrem, Michelle Branch), Toby Gad (The Veronicas, Ella Henderson) and Julian Bunetta (Fifth Harmony, Leona Lewis).

On the songwriting front, Alex & Sierra have teamed up with Sam Watters (Zendaya, Keri Hilson), Autumn Rowe (Cher Lloyd, The Saturdays), Ruth-Anne Cunningham (Jojo, Britney Spears) and Lil Eddie (Tessanne, Nelly Furtado).

Keri Hilson works with Jim Jonsin, Rico Love for new album?

The upcoming third studio album by Keri Hilson is expected to feature collaborations with hitmakers Jim Jonsin and Rico Love.

The songwriting and production duo are responsible for singles “Motivation” by Kelly Rowland [Republic Records], “Sweet Dreams” by Beyonce [Columbia Records] and “Mr. Wrong” by Mary J. Blige [Geffen Records].

Rico Love previously co-wrote “Energy” for Keri Hilson along with Sam Watters and Louis Biancaniello. The track is lifted from the artist’s debut album, “In a Perfect World,” which debuted at number four on the US Albums Chart.

Meanwhile, recent production credits by Jonsin – born James Scheffer – are John Legend’s “A Million” [Columbia Records], A$AP Rocky’s “Long Live A$AP” [RCA Records] and Wiz Khalifa’s “Up In It” [Atlantic Records].

In addition to working on the follow-up to 2010’s “No Boys Allowed,” Hilson co-wrote “Passenger” for Candice Glover along with Planet VI’s Theron and Timothy Thomas. The Mike WiLL Made It-produced track appears on Glover’s debut album, “Music Speaks,” out now via Interscope Records.

Treasure Davis has debuted a new song online.

The singer/songwriter posted “May the Bitter Man Win” – which features J. Cole – to her Official SoundCloud Page on Wednesday (February 5, 2013).

The track was co-written by Elijah Blake, whose credits include “Shit Happens” by Bridget Kelly [Roc Nation Records], “DUI” by Ciara [Epic Records], “Suicide” by James Blake [Syco Music] and “Dessert” by JLS [RCA Records].

The R&B crooner – born Sean Fenton – is expected to release his debut album “Songs About Melody” later this year via Island Def Jam Recordings.

Meanwhile, Davis previously co-wrote “Talking in My Sleep” by Chante Moore along with Lewis Hughes, Nick Audino, Sam Watters and Louis Biancaniello.
