Craig David premieres music video for new promotional single “Heartline”

Craig David has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The visual clip for the Jonas Blue-produced “Heartline” was posted to the British singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on Wednesday (October 18, 2017).

Now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets; “Heartline” was co-written by David alongside fellow recording artist RØMANS, whose recent credits include Little Mix (“If I Get My Way”), Justine Skye (“Don’t Think About It”), Noah Cyrus (“I’m Stuck”) and Rag’n’Bone Man (“Fade to Nothing”).

Born Samuel Elliot Roman, the Roc Nation signee has also contributed to the next projects by Sigma, Louis Tomlinson, Jennifer Hudson, X Ambassadors, Cosima, Jax Jones, Kristian Galva, Sigala, Louisa Johnson, Gavin James, Kali Uchis, James Morrison, Rixton, Tom Walker, Noah Cyrus, Era Istrefi, Rita Ora, Fleur East, Alan Walker, Calum Scott, Jess Glynne, and Rudimental.

Meanwhile, David’s seventh studio collection “The Time is Now” – featuring the Diztortion-produced “For the Gram” – will arrive on January 26 via Sony Music Entertainment UK in partnership with Speakerbox/Insanity Records.

On the follow-up to 2016’s “Following My Intuition,” David has also worked with Chase & Status (“Reload”), Fraser T. Smith (“Love Me Like It’s Yesterday”), Steve Mac (“Brand New”), Kaytranada (“Live in the Moment”), Tre Jean-Marie (“Talk to Me”) and Blonde (“Somebody Like Me”).

RØMANS has confirmed the details for his new single.

The British singer, songwriter, and record producer – real name Samuel Elliot Roman – christened “Happy Love” as his next promotional cut and will release on March 31 via Roc Nation Records.

His mini-albums, “Act I” (2015) and “Overthinking – Pt. 1” (2016), along with his previous promotional singles, “Love is the Beast,” “Silence” and “Prisoner,” are now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As a songwriter/producer, RØMANS has reportedly contributed to the next projects by Cosima, Noah Cyrus, RAYE, Jess Glynne, Sigala, Louisa Johnson, Ella Henderson, Blonde, Fleur East, Gavin Jones, Era Istrefi, KStewart, Calum Scott, Jonas Blue, Ava Lily, Rudimental, Liv Dawson, Matoma, Naughty Boy, Jessie Ware, Sigma, and X Ambassadors.

His notable credits include Mary J. Alicia Keys has teamed up with Sam Romans and Sampha on new music.

“An amazing week in the studio with the legend @aliciakeys and the master @jimmynapes. Big shout out to #Sampha too,” Romans posted on Instagram.

The British musician – real name Samuel Elliot Roman – recently co-wrote Disclosure’s “Jaded” [Island], Melissa Steel’s “You Love Me?” [Atlantic], Mary J. Blige’s “Doubt” [Capitol] and Gorgon City’s “Saving My Life” [Virgin EMI].

Meanwhile, Sampha is known for his collaborative works with Emile Hayne (“A Kiss Goodbye”), SBTRKT (“Hold On”), FKA twigs (“Numbers”), Drake (“Too Much”), Jessie Ware (“Valentine”) and Lil Silva (“On Your Own”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Keys is expected to release her sixth studio collection later this year through RCA Records.

The follow-up to 2013’s “Girl on Fire” is preceded by current single “28 Thousand Days,” which is now available for download via iTunes.

Kwabs unveils music video for new single “Cheating on Me”

Kwabs has unveiled the music video for his new single online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the I Owe Youth-directed clip for “Cheating on Me” to his YouTube channel on Wednesday (October 28, 2015).

“Cheating on Me” was co-written by Jimmy Napes, whose recent credits include Sam Smith’s “Writing’s on the Wall” [Capitol], Lapsley’s “Hurt Me” [XL], Frances’ “Eye of the Storm” [Capitol] and Ellie Goulding’s “Heal” [Polydor].

Production duties were handled by Felix Joseph, who also worked with Elli Ingram (“Poetic Justice”), Aquilo (“Better Off Without You”), Dru Blu (“Find a Way”) and Professor Green (“Not Your Man”).

Kwabs’ first studio collection “Love + War” – featuring singles “Walk,” “Fight for Love,” “Wrong or Right” and “Perfect Ruin” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Atlantic Records.

The album boasts further alliances with Francis “Eg” White (James Morrison), Jonny Lattimer (Sinead Harnett), Cass Lowe (Tinashe), Al Shux (Elle Varner), Starsmith (Jess Glynne) and ROMANS (Mary J. Blige).

Ella Henderson reunites with Jamie Scott for second album

Ella Henderson has reunited with Jamie Scott for her upcoming second album.

The singer, songwriter, and record producer previously co-wrote “All Again” for Henderson. He also co-produced “Missed” along with Toby Smith.

He also collaborated with artists including Alex & Sierra (“Back to You”), Christina Perri (“Be My Forever”), Olly Murs (“Us Against The World”), The Vamps (“Wild Heart”) and Colbie Caillat (“If You Love Me, Let Me Go”).

Meanwhile, Henderson is scheduled to release her forthcoming studio collection next year through Simon Cowell’s Sony imprint Syco Music.

Other musicians associated with the follow-up to 2014’s “Chapter One” are Fraser T. Smith, ROMANS, Josh Record, Isa Machine, Jake Gosling, Chris Leonard, Camille Purcell, TMS, and Maegan Cottone.

Harvey Mason Jr. has hinted at a new collaboration with Mary J. Blige.

“Always amazed at what comes out of her mouth. One of my al time greats & one of my all-time favorite,” the record producer posted to his Instagram account.

Mason Jr. previously collaborated with Blige on “Never Gonna Break My Faith” and “The Living Proof,” which was nominated for the Best Original Song category at the 69th Golden Globe Awards.

His extensive resume includes further works with Ciara (“One Woman Army”), Tamar Braxton (“All the Way Home”), K. Michelle (“Silhouettes”), Tank (“Incredible”) and Justin Timberlake (“On My Brain”).

Meanwhile, Blige is expected to release her upcoming thirteenth studio album next year through Universal Music Group / Capitol Records.

B.A.M. recently produced and co-wrote “Chaise Lounge” for Tamia along with Alicia Renea Williams and Ronald “Lil Ronnie” Jackson.

His other credits include Kandace Springs’ “Love Got in the Way” [Capitol], Chris Brown’s “Autumn Leaves” f/ Kendrick Lamar [RCA], Tamar Braxton’s “Free Fallin” [Epic] and K. Michelle’s “Love ‘Em All” [Atlantic].

Meanwhile, Blige is expected to release her forthcoming collection next year through Universal Music Group / Capitol Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly features further productions and songwriting contributions from Timothy “Labrinth” McKenzie (Lianne La Havas, Jess Glynne) and ROMANS (John Legend, Clean Bandit).

Mary J. Blige has recorded new music with Labrinth and ROMANS.

It is yet to be known whether the session was intended for a future Labrinth release or Blige’s upcoming thirteenth studio album.

ROMANS – born Samuel Elliot Roman – previously co-wrote “Doubt,” “My Loving” and “Long Hard Look” for Blige along with hitmakers including Rodney Jerkins, Harry Craze, Hugo Chegwin, James Murray, and Mustafa Omer.

Meanwhile, Labrinth recently co-wrote, co-produced and provided guest vocals on the track “Losers,” taken from fellow recording artist The Weeknd’s latest album “Beauty Behind the Madness.”

The British hitmaker – real name Timothy McKenzie – also worked with artists including Rihanna [Roc Nation], Jess Glynne [Atlantic], Lianne La Havas [Nonesuch], Conor Maynard [Parlophone] and Usher [RCA].

Blige’s latest album “The London Sessions” – featuring singles “Right Now,” “Therapy” and “Whole Damn Year” – is out now via Capitol Records. The collection peaked to number nine on the US Albums Chart.

Disclosure, Lion Babe debut new single “Hourglass”

Disclosure have debuted their new single online.

The UK electronic music duo – composed of siblings Guy and Howard Lawrence – posted the audio clip for “Hourglass” to their Vevo channel.

“Hourglass” – now available for download via iTunes – delivers vocals from Jillian Hervey of Interscope / Polydor recording group Lion Babe.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Disclosure’s sophomore album “Caracal” – featuring previous singles “Willing and Able,” “Holding On” and “Omen” – will hit stores on September 28 through PMR Records and Island Records.

In addition to boasting songwriting contributions from Jimmy Napes and ROMANS, “Caracal” delivers further appearances from Lorde (“Magnets”), The Weeknd (“Nocturnal”), Nao (“Superego”) and Miguel (“Good Intentions”).

The keenly-awaited LP serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Settle,” which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “Latch,” “You and Me,” “White Noise,” “F for You” and “Voices.”

Kwabs teams up with George Moore, Dave Okumu for new song “Layback”

Kwabs has shared a new song online.

The singer/songwriter – born Kwabena Adjepong – posted the audio clip for “Layback” to his YouTube channel on Wednesday (September 02, 2015).

“Layback” was written by Kwabs along with George Moore, who previously teamed up with the artist on “Pray for Love” and “Brother.”

The Dave Okumu-produced joint is also slotted for inclusion on Kwabs’ upcoming first studio collection, “Love + War,” available for download from September 11 through iTunes in partnership with Atlantic Records.

Cass Lowe (Tinashe, Melissa Steel), Starsmith (Jess Glynne, Ellie Goulding), Al Shux (Elle Varner, Lianne La Havas), Eg White (Adele, Sinead Harnett), Jimmy Napes (Alicia Keys, Sam Smith) and ROMANS (John Legend, Clean Bandit) are among the musicians backing Kwabs on the keenly-awaited LP.

Furthermore, Kwabs has contributed to the forthcoming sophomore album by UK electronic music production duo Disclosure. “Caracal” – featuring the Kwabs-assisted “Willing and Able” – is slated to hit store and digital outlets on September 25 through PMR Records and Island Records.
