Tori Kelly teams up with Pawws, Knightstarr for new collaboration

American singer/songwriter Tori Kelly has teamed up with Lucy “Pawws” Taylor and Bhavik “Knightstarr” Pattani for a new collaboration.

Pawws has previously penned songs that were performed by Dua Lipa (“Be the One”), Etham (“Close Enough”), Liv Dawson (“I’ll Be Waiting), Danny L Harle (“Me4U”) and Annalisa (“Used to You”).

Meanwhile, Knightstarr’s songwriting/production resume boasts works for Grace Ackerman (“Feels Like Home”), MY (“Skeletons”), Evangeline (“Write About”), VAX (“Fireproof”), Lauren Faith (“Tripping”), KRYSTALROXX (“You Gotta Be”), Low Steppa (“Can’t Lie”) and Eleni Drake (“Thrills”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Kelly is expected to release the follow-up 2015’s “Unbreakable Smile” later this year via Schoolboy Records and Capitol Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers productions from Mojam Music (Leona Lewis), Warren “Oak” Felder (Demi Lovato), Noel Zancanella (Ella Henderson), Stephan Moccio (Maty Noyes), Neff-U (ZZ Ward), Jimmy Napes (Ria Ritchie), Kyle Shearer (Starley) and Fred Cox (Grace Carter).

Among the songwriters expected to appear on the album are Natasha Bedingfield (Anne-Marie), James “JHart” Abrahart (Kelsea Ballerini), Tayla Parx (Christina Aguilera), Nate Campany (Jojo), Emily Warren (Alessia Cara), Fabienne Holloway (Janelle Monae) and Daniel Nigro (Charlotte OC).

Tori Kelly teams with Chris Lane for new single “Take Back Home Girl”

American singer/songwriter Tori Kelly has teamed with fellow recording artist Chris Lane for his new single “Take Back Home Girl,” now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track – which was written by Hillary Lindsey alongside David Garcia and Miller Josh – marks the first promotional cut from Lane’s upcoming sophomore studio collection under Big Loud Records.

Meanwhile, Kelly is expected to release her second album and follow-up 2015’s “Unbreakable Smile” later this year via Schoolboy Records and Capitol Records.

Tori Kelly releases lyric video for new single “Hollow”

Tori Kelly has released the lyric video for her new single online.

The singer, songwriter, and record producer posted the lyrical clip for “Hollow” to her Vevo channel on Thursday (October 22, 2015).

“Hollow” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by Kelly along with Zac Poor, Lindsey Jackson, Hayley Warner, and Thom Macken.

The track also marks the first promotional cut from the re-packaged edition of Kelly’s debut album “Unbreakable Smile,” which is scheduled to hit stores on November 27 through Schoolboy Records and Capitol Records.

Commercial performance-wise, the original edition of “Unbreakable Smile” debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Nobody Love” and “Should’ve Been Us.”

That collection also featured productions from Max Martin (Adele), Toby Gad (Beyonce), Oren Yoel (Miley Cyrus), Johan Karlsson (Ariana Grande), Chuck Harmony (Rihanna) and Ed Sheeran (Justin Bieber).

Carly Rae Jepsen has unwrapped the official artwork for her new single online.

“Run Away With Me” is lifted from the Canadian singer/songwriter’s next studio collection, “E.MO.TION,” which will hit stores and digital outlets on August 21 through Schoolboy Records and Interscope Records.

The track was written by Jepsen along with Jonnali Parmenius (Avicii, Nicky Romero) and Oscar Holter (Adam Lambert, Christina Aguilera).

Production duties on “Run Away With Me” were handled by Karl “Shellback” Schuster (Britney Spears, Taylor Swift), Robin Fredriksson (Eric Saade, Take That) and Mattias Larsson (Tove Lo, Ellie Goulding).

Other musicians backing Jepsen on “E.MO.TION” are Christopher Baran (Hilary Duff, Pixie Lott), Jacob Kasher (Ciara, Kylie Minogue), Ariel Rechtshaid (Madonna, Sky Ferreira) and Wayne Hector (Craig David, One Direction).

Carly Rae Jepsen announces new single “Run Away With Me”

Carly Rae Jepsen has announced the details for her new single.

The Canadian singer/songwriter christened “Run Away With Me” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming studio album “Emotion.”

Jepsen co-wrote “Run Away With Me” along with Robin Fredriksson, Mattias Larsson, Oscar Holter and Jonnali Parmenius.

Production duties were handled by Shellback, whose recent credits include Maroon’s “This Summer’s Gonna Hurt” [Interscope Records] and Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” f/ Kendrick Lamar [Big Machine Records].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Scooter Braun serves as the executive producer for “Emotion.” The music mogul is also overseeing the next releases by Tori Kelly [Capitol Records] and Ariana Grande [Republic Records].

Other contributors on the follow-up to 2012’s “Kiss” are Greg Kurstin (Sia, Kelly Clarkson), Toby Gad (Beyonce, Alicia Keys), Carl Falk (Madonna, Nicole Scherzinger) and Rami Yacoub (Celine Dion, Britney Spears).

“Emotion” is scheduled to hit stores and digital outlets on August 21 via Schoolboy Records and Interscope Records.

The Canadian singer and songwriter will release “E.MO.TION” on June 24 via Schoolboy Records and Interscope Records.

Lead single “I Really Like You” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by Jepsen along with Jacob Kasher (Tinashe, Kylie Minogue) and Peter Svensson (Ariana Grande, The Weeknd).

Other album contributors are Toby Gad (Madonna, Tori Kelly), Sia Furler (Rihanna, Katy Perry), Devonte Hynes (Solange, FKA twigs), Ariel Rechtshaid (Usher, Sky Ferreira) and Greg Kurstin (Shakira, Kelly Clarkson).

Carly Rae Jepsen has unveiled the official artwork for her upcoming album.

The Canadian singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “E.MO.TION” on June 24 via Schoolboy Records and Interscope Records.

Current single “All That” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by Jepsen along with Ariel Rechtshaid (Sky Ferreira, Charli XCX) and Devonte “Blood Orange” Hynes (Tinashe, FKA twigs).

The follow-up to 2012’s “Kiss” is executive-produced by Scooter Braun, whose other clients include Justin Bieber [Island Records], Katharine McPhee [Columbia Records], Tori Kelly [Capitol Records] and Ariana Grande [Republic Records].

On the production front, Jepsen has enlisted Toby Gad (Beyonce, Leona Lewis), Stargate (Ne-Yo, Mariah Carey), Jack Antonoff (Tinashe, Taylor Swift), Max Martin (Kelis, Adam Lambert) and Benny Blanco (Maroon 5, Ryn Weaver).

Album songwriters are Jacob “J. Kash” Kasher (Selena Gomez, Avril Lavigne), Sam Hollander (Olly Murs, Alex & Sierra), Jenna Andrews (Elle Varner, Pixie Lott) and Sia Furler (Celine Dion, Kylie Minogue).
