Demi Lovato unleashes “Confident” music video

Demi Lovato has unleashed the music video for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Confident” to her Vevo channel on Friday (October 09, 2015).

“Confident” – out now via iTunes – was written by Lovato along with Savan Kotecha (Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera), Ilya Salmanzadeh (Tori Kelly, Ariana Grande) and Max Martin (Tinashe, Hailee Steinfeld).

Video treatment was handled by Robert Rodriguez, who also directed feature films including The Faculty, The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl in 3-D, Sin City, Planet Terror and Machete.

Lovato’s upcoming fifth studio collection “Confident” – featuring previous single “Cool for the Summer” – is scheduled to hit stores on October 16 through Hollywood Records in conjunction with Island Records.

The keenly-awaited LP boasts additional alliances with Steve Mac (Jess Glynne), Ina Wroldsen (Little Mix), Jason Evigan (Madonna), Laleh (Ellie Goulding), Scott “Babydaddy” Hoffman (Chris Brown) and Coco Morier (Selena Gomez).

Laura Welsh has released her debut album online.

“Soft Control” – featuring hit singles “Hollow Drum,” “Ghosts,” “Break the Fall” and “Cold Front” – is now available for download via iTunes (UK) in partnership with Outsiders Recorded Music Limited and Polydor Records.

On the songwriting front, the project boasts alliances with Amanda Ghost (Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez), Ian Dench (Jordin Sparks, Alesha Dixon), John Legend (Fergie, Keyshia Cole) and Dev Hynes (Tinashe, FKA twigs).

Album producers are Greg Kurstin (Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson), Emile Haynie (Bruno Mars, Lykke Li), Liam Howe (Ellie Goulding, Lana Del Rey), Chris Loco (Melissa Steel, Becky Hill) and Scott Hoffman (Kylie Minogue, Chris Brown).

Laura Welsh has unleashed the music video for her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Ghosts” to her official Vevo page on Thursday (December 11, 2014).

“Ghosts” was co-written by Jonathan Lipsey and produced by Greg Kurstin, whose recent credits include Taylor Swift’s “I Wish You Would” [Big Machine Records] and Beyonce’s “Standing on the Sun” [Columbia Records].

The track is lifted from Welsh’s debut studio collection, “Soft Control,” out on January 19, 2015 via Outsiders Recorded Music and Polydor Records.

Album contributors include Amanda Ghost (Shakira, Jennifer Lopez), Chris Loco (Kwabs, Becky Hill), Devonte Hynes (Solange, FKA twigs), Scott Hoffman (Chris Brown, Joel Compass) and Ian Dench (Alesha Dixon, Jordin Sparks).

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has released her fourth studio album online.

“Only Human” – featuring hit singles “Crazy Stupid Love” and “I Don’t Care” – is now available for download via iTunes (UK) in partnership with Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

The highly-anticipated project serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “A Million Lights,” which peaked at number two on the UK Albums Chart.

Among the producers backing Cheryl on “Only Human” are Wayne Wilkins, Red Triangle, The Invisible Men, Jesse Shatkin, Greg Kurstin, Lucas Secon, Cass Lowe, Babydaddy, Matt Schwartz, DaWood, Jocke Ahlund and Oligee.

“Speak in Tongues” was written by Ferras along with Sarah Hudson (Katy Perry, Rita Ora), Mathieu “Billboard” Jomphe (Ellie Goulding, Bonnie McKee) and Scott “Babydaddy” Hoffman (Kylie Minogue, Laura Welsh).

Laura Welsh has confirmed the title for her new single.

The singer/songwriter dubbed “Ghosts” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming debut album on Outsiders Recorded Music / Polydor Records.

“Ghosts” was written by Laura Welsh along with Jonathan Lipsey, whose resume includes works for Kylie Minogue (“Heart Beat Rock”), Sugababes (“Follow Me Home”) and Gabriella Cilmi (“Every Morning”).

Welsh previously provided vocals on hit single “Here for You,” taken from Gorgon City’s debut album “Sirens,” out now via Black Butter / Virgin EMI Records. The MNEK-assisted track peaked at number 7 on the UK Singles Chart.

Her as-yet-untitled studio collection reportedly boasts further collaborations with Amanda Ghost, John Legend, Devonte “Blood Orange” Hynes, Chris Loco, Emile Haynie, Scott “Babydaddy” Hoffman, and Robin Hannibal.
