Mario releases new promotional single “Care for You”

American singer/songwriter Mario Barrett, known mononymously as Mario, has released his new promotional single online.

“Care for You” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Jackson Dimiglio-Wood alongside former Cherish member Felisha King, whose resume boasts additional works with Sevyn Streeter (“Before I Do”) and Tamar Braxton (“Simple Things”).

Production duties on “Care for You” were handled by Jake Gosling, who is also responsible for Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud,” Shawn Mendes’s “Mercy,” Paloma Faith’s “Picking Up the Pieces,” Lupe Fiasco’s “Old School Love,” Shania Twain’s “Light of My Life,” and Rebecca Ferguson’s “Waiting for Me.”

Mario’s latest studio collection “Dancing Shadows” – featuring further contributions from Daecolm, Elijah Blake, XSDTRK, Ari PenSmith, P2J, Bianca “Blush” Atterberry, J Warner, Carla Marie Williams, Pham, Guordan Banks, and Ryan McDermott – is out now via New Citizen LLC / Empire.

Keyshia Cole has liberated her new studio collection online.

“11:11 Reset” – featuring promotional singles “You,” “Incapable,” “Best Friend” and “Vault” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The highly-anticipated project boasts songwriting contributions from Elijah Blake, Gabrielle “Goldie” Nowee, Eric Dawkins, Marcella “Ms. Lago” Araica, Sam Hook, Tenisha Younger, Jeremih, and Rock City.

On the production front, Cole has worked with Harmony “H-Money” Samuels, Edgar “JV” Etienne, Orlando Williamson, Nathaniel “Danja” Hills, Eric Hudson, Aaron Rogers, Damon Thomas, Kevin Randolph, Uforo “Bongo'” Ebong, Rashad Johnson, Antwan “Amadeus” Thompson, and NOVAWAV.

Keyshia Cole unleashes music video for new single “You”

Keyshia Cole has unleashed the music video for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “You” – featuring Remy Ma and French Montana – to her Vevo channel on Monday (Febraury 27, 2017).

The track was co-written by siblings Theron and Timothy Thomas, who previously teamed up with Cole on the Mike WiLL Made It-produced “New Nu,” taken from the artist’s 2014 album, “Point of No Return.”

Production duties on “You” were handled by Harmony Samuels (Kehlani, Zara Larsson) and Edgar “JV” Etienne (La’Porsha Renae, Nathan Sykes).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Cole’s seventh studio collection, “11:11 Reset,” will arrive later this year via Epic Records.

The highly-anticipated project delivers additional alliances with Danja, Elijah Blake, Denisia “Blu June” Andrews, Sam Hook, Noel “Detail” Fisher, Eric Bellinger, Gabrielle “Goldie” Nowee, and Verse Simmonds.

Keyshia Cole has enlisted Danja’s production services for her upcoming album.

The American record producer and songwriter – real name Nathaniel Hills – has produced songs for prominent artists such as Britney Spears (“Gimme More”), Usher (“Appetite”), Kelly Rowland (“Freak”), Pink (“Sober”), Jennifer Lopez (“Starting Over”), Keri Hilson (“Knock You Down”), Jason Derulo (“X2CU”), K. Michelle (“If it Ain’t Love”) and Luke James (“Exit Wounds”).

Danja’s extensive resume boasts further works with songwriters and fellow producers Timbaland, Candice Nelson, Jim Beanz, Marcella Araica, Jimmy Harry, Kara DioGuardi, Dewain Whitmore, Jocelyn Donald, Eric Bellinger, Rosina Russell, Kevin Cossom, Ilsey Juber, Claude Kelly, Diana Gordon, RoccStar, J. Que, Kasia Livingston, Fernando Garibay, and Rico Love.

Meanwhile, Cole is scheduled to release her seventh studio collection “11:11 Reset” – featuring promotional singles “You” and “Incapable” – later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

Keyshia Cole has reunited with Elijah Blake for her upcoming album.

Blake previously teamed up with Cole on “Woman to Woman” and “Point of No Return” tracks “Enough of No Love,” “Missing Me,” “Wonderland,” “I Choose You,” “Stubborn,” “Niggas like You,” “Rick James” and “She.”

The singer-songwriter is also known for co-writing Usher’s “Climax,” Rihanna’s “No Love Allowed,” Justin Bieber’s “I Would,” Cover Drive’s “Headphones,” Marsha Ambrosius’ “Cold War,” Jojo’s “Can’t Handle the Truth,” Trey Songz’s “Without a Woman,” Justine Skye’s “Collide,” and Ciara’s “DUI.”

Blake’s debut album “Shadows & Diamonds” – featuring contributions from Chris Loco, Kirby Lauryen, Happy Perez, Tiyon “TC” Mack, Salaam Remi, James Poyser, Illangelo, Billy Walsh, Lyrica Anderson, Djemba Djemba, and No ID – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Kehlani has snagged Jonathan Rotem for her upcoming debut album.

“Going back to my bay roots. @Kehlani is so dope,” the record producer, music publisher and songwriter posted to his Instagram account.

Rotem’s recent credits include Gwen Stefani’s “Used to Love You” [Interscope], Charlie Puth’s “Dangerously” [Warner Brothers], Ben Haenow’s “All Yours” [Syco Music] and Fifth Harmony’s “Like Mariah” [Epic].

He also worked with top songwriters such as Evan “Kidd” Bogart, Kara DioGuardi, Andrea Martin, Makeba Riddick, Marty James, Livvi Franc, Justin Tranter, Julia Michaels, Raja Kumari, and Andrew Jackson.

Meanwhile, Kehlani will release her first studio collection – featuring buzz singles “Did I” and “Tore Up” – later this year through Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled LP reportedly boasts additional alliances with Pharrell Williams, Harmony Samuels, Skrillex, Charlie Puth, Bibi Bourelly, Happy Perez, Troy Taylor, Elijah Blake, The-Dream, Warren Felder, and Andrew Wansel.

Kehlani has drafted The-Dream for her upcoming debut album.

The hitmaker – real name Terius Nash – recently co-wrote “Woo” for Rihanna along with Jean Baptiste Kouame, Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye, Jeremih, Jacques “Travis Scott” Webster, and Chauncey “Hit-Boy” Hollis.

His songwriting and production resume includes further works with Beyonce (“Single Ladies”), Kelly Rowland (“Skywalker”), Usher (“Trading Places”), Mariah Carey (“Touch My Body”) and Celine Dion (“Skies of L.A.”).

Meanwhile, Kehlani will release her first studio collection – featuring buzz singles “Did I” and “Tore Up” – later this year through Atlantic Records.
