Sean Paul delivers new single “When It Comes To You”

Sean Paul has delivered his new single online.

“When It Comes To You”  is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Sean Paul alongside Sean Douglas (Bebe Rexha, Charlie Puth), Ian Kirkpatrick (Selena Gomez, Jason Derulo) and Dwayne “Supa Dups” Chin-Quee (Dua Lipa, Little Mix).

The Jamaican singer, songwriter and record producer’s upcoming seventh studio collection – featuring the Stefflon Don-assisted “Shot & Wine” – is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Island Records.

Sean Paul drafts Dua Lipa for new single “No Lie”

Sean Paul has selected his new single.

The Jamaican dancehall star christened “No Lie” – featuring Dua Lipa – as the next promotional cut from his upcoming seventh album and will release it on November 18 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

“No Lie” was co-written by Emily Warren (Shawn Mendes) and Andrew Jackson (John Legend) alongside the song’s producers Jamie “Sermstyle” Sanderson (Fleur East) and Philip “Pip” Kembo (Beyonce).

Paul’s previous studio collection, 2014’s “Full Frequency,” peaked to number one on the US Billboard Reggae Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Other Side of Love” and “Turn It Up.”

His next album, which will be distributed via Island Records, reportedly delivers further alliances with David Guetta, Ina Wroldsen, Diztortion, Soaky Siren, Bless Beats, Jin Jin, Nasri Atweh, Priscilla Renea, and Taylor Parks.

Clean Bandit have delivered their new single online.

“Rockabye” is now available for download via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track – which features guest vocals from Asylum-signed artist Anne-Marie and dancehall star Sean Paul – was co-written by Ina Wroldsen (Britney Spears, Jasmine Thompson) and Ammar Malik (Nick Jonas, James Blunt).

Production duties on “Rockabye” were handled by group member Jack Patterson alongside Steve Mac (Jess Glynne, Selena Gomez), Mark Ralph (Foxes, AlunaGeorge) and Tom “AD” Fuller (David Guetta, Robbie Williams).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Clean Bandit’s second studio collection is expected to be released later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The follow-up to 2014’s “New Eyes” boasts additional alliances with Sam Romans (John Legend), Cass Lowe (Zayn Malik), Priscilla Renea (Rihanna), Toby Gad (Beyonce) and Natasha Bedingfield (Imani Williams).

Clean Bandit have selected their new single.

The British electro-band – composed of members Grace Chatto, Jack Patterson, Luke Patterson and Neil-Amin Smith – dubbed “Rockabye” as the second promotional cut from their upcoming sophomore album.

The follow-up to previous single “Tears,” which peaked to number five on the UK Singles Chart, features guest vocals from dancehall star Sean Paul and Major Tom’s / Asylum-signed vocalist Anne-Marie.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Clean Bandit’s second studio collection under Warner Music Group imprint Atlantic Records reportedly boasts further guest appearances from Elton John, Natasha Bedingfield, and Labrinth.

Other album contributors include Mark Ralph (AlunaGeorge), Sam Romans (John Legend), Cass Lowe (Zayn Malik), Priscilla Renea (Rihanna), Toby Gad (Beyonce), Ina Wroldsen (Fleur East) and Steve Mac (James Blunt).

Clean Bandit have unleashed the music video for their new single online.

The British electronic music quartet – composed of Grace Chatto, Jack Patterson, Luke Patterson and Neil Amin-Smith – posted the visual clip for “Tears” to their YouTube channel on Thursday (July 07, 2016).

“Tears” – featuring vocals from Louisa Johnson – was co-written by Sam Romans, who also worked with AlunaGeorge (“I’m in Control”), Mary J. Blige (“Doubt”), Kwabs (“Father Figure”), and Birdy (“Growing Pains”).

Fans of Romans’ work should also look out for the next projects by Alicia Keys [RCA], James Blunt [Atlantic], Craig David [Insanity], John Legend [Columbia], Ella Henderson [Syco] and Rudimental [Asylum].

British electronic group Clean Bandit have added Ina Wroldsen and Steve Mac to the list of contributors for their upcoming sophomore album.

Recent credits by the songwriting and production duo include Jasmine Thompson’s “Adore” [Atlantic], Demi Lovato’s “Lionheart” [Hollywood], Shakira’s “Empires” [RCA] and Inna’s “In Your Eyes” [Roton Music].

Wroldsen and Mac also worked with the likes of Cobra Starship (“You Make Me Feel”), Little Mix (“We Are Who We Are”), Alexandra Burke (“Before the Rain”), The Wanted (“I Found You”) and Cover Drive (“That Girl”).

Meanwhile, Clean Bandit are expected to release the follow-up to 2014’s “New Eyes” – featuring guest appearances from Labrinth, Natasha Bedingfield, and Sean Paul – later this year through Atlantic Records.

Other album contributors include Toby Gad (Madonna, John Legend), Sam Romans (Disclosure, Alicia Keys), Cass Lowe (Tinashe, Ella Henderson) and Priscilla Renea (Rihanna, David Guetta).

Nyla premieres music video for new single “Body Calling”

Nyla has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The Jamaican singer/songwriter – born Nailah Thorbourne – posted the video for “Body Calling” to her official YouTube page on Saturday (June 21, 2014).

The track – written by Nyla along with Jason Panton, Alwayne Harrison, Marlon Easy, and Nicolas Bourel – is now available for download via iTunes (US).

Nyla was recently featured on the Toby Gad-produced “Porn Star,” taken from Sean Paul’s latest album, “Full Frequency,” out now via Atlantic Records.

Her extensive resume also includes works for artists including Christina Aguilera [RCA Records], Nicole Scherzinger [Epic Records], Christina Milian [Young Money Records] and Jennifer Lopez [Capitol Records].

Sean Paul has revealed the songwriting credits for his upcoming album.

The Jamaican dancehall artist is scheduled to release “Full Frequency” on February 18 via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Lead single “Other Side of Love” was written by Sean Paul along with Benjamin “Benny Blanco” Levin and Niles “Cyrano” Hollowell-Dhar (aka The Cataracs).

The follow-up to 2012’s “Tomahawk Technique” boasts further songwriting contributions from Ester Dean (Candice Glover, Trey Songz), Wayne Hector (Kylie Minogue, James Blunt) and Giorgio Tuinfort (Rihanna, David Guetta).

On the production front, Sean Paul has teamed up with Toby Gad (Robin Thicke, John Legend), Stargate (Brandy, Janet Jackson), Fernando Garibay (Lady GaGa, Enrique Iglesias) and Polow Da Don (Ciara, Nicole Scherzinger).

Major Lazer reveal details for new mini-album ‘Apocalypse Soon’

Major Lazer have revealed the details for their new EP.

The trio – consisting of members Diplo, Jillionaire and Walshy Fire – will release “Apocalypse Soon” on February 25 via Mad Decent / Because Music.

The set is preceded by lead single “Aerosol Can,” which features vocals from Pharrell Williams. The super producer is currently working on his sophomore album, which will hit stores later this year via Columbia Records.

“Apocalypse Soon” serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Free the Universe,” which boasted guest appearances from Santigold (“You’re No Good”), Wynter Gordon (“Keep Cool”), Bruno Mars (“Bubble Butt”) and Arama Brown (“Playground”).
