Marsha Ambrosius teams up with Benny Cassette for new collaboration

Marsha Ambrosius has teamed up with Benny Cassette for a new collaboration.

“If you know how amazing @MarshaAmrbrosius is, then you know how happy I was to have her come in and get on a record today,” the American music producer and songwriter tweeted on Saturday (February 04, 2017).

Cassette’s resume boasts credits with The Band Perry (“Stay in the Dark”), Mary Lambert (“Secrets”), Wynter Gordon (“Bleeding Out”), Stacy Barthe (“Live for Today”), Allen Stone (“Barbwire”), Moxie (“Dirty Lights”), Dev (“Honey Dip”), Lil Debbie (“California Sweetheart”) and Miguel (“NWA”).

Amongst the other artists Cassette has worked with are Elle Varner, Becky Hill, Kandace Springs, Raleigh Ritchie, Sevyn Streeter, Ferras, Keri Hilson, Jacob Banks, Pussy Riot, Lily Allen, Taylor Momsen, and Chloe x Halle.

Meanwhile, Ambrosius is expected to release her third studio collection later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers productions from Eric Hudson (Ne-Yo, Keyshia Cole), Harmony Samuels (Brandy, Kelly Rowland), Naughty Boy (Rihanna, Emeli Sande) and Focus (Amerie, Jennifer Lopez).

Ambrosius’ previous studio collection, 2014’s “Friends & Lovers,” debuted at number twelve on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned two singles in the shape of “Run” and “Stronger.”

Naughty Boy unleashes new single “Should’ve Been Me” with Kyla, Popcaan

Naughty Boy has unleashed his new single online.

“Should’ve Been Me” – featuring guest vocals from Kyla Reid and Popcaan – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Emily Warren (Dua Lipa, Ava Lily) and Scott Harris (Melanie Martinez, Shawn Mendes).

Production duties on “Should’ve Been Me” were collectively handled by Naughty Boy alongside Mustafa Omer and James Murray of Mojam Music, who also worked with the likes of Emeli Sande (“Hurts”), Craig David (“Talking About”), Sam Smith (“Like I Can”) and Gorgon City (“Imagination”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Naughty Boy – real name Shahid Khan – is putting the final touches on his upcoming sophomore studio collection and follow-up to 2013’s “Hotel Cabana” [Naughty Music / Virgin EMI Records].

Kyla, who previously teamed up with Drake on international hit single “One Dance,” is currently recording new music with Youthonix, Evan Bogart, Starsmith, Clarence Coffee, Dayo Olatunji, Sacha Skarbek, Andrea Martin, The Invisible Men, Lindy Robbins, Eyelar Mirzazadeh, and Carla Marie Williams.

Emeli Sande has unleashed the music video for her new single online.

The Scottish singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Garden” – featuring Jay Electronica and Aine Zion – to her Vevo channel on Monday (November 14, 2016).

Production duties on “Garden” were handled by regular collaborator, Chris Loco, who also teamed up with Sande on “Breathing Underwater,” “Somebody,” “Babe,” “Give Me Something” and “Easier in Bed.”

His extensive resume boasts further works with Rita Ora (“Shine Ya Light”), Kylie Minogue (“Fine”), Raleigh Ritchie (“Stronger Than Ever”), Leona Lewis (“I to You”), Ella Eyre (“Two”) and RAYE (“Bet U Wish”).

Emeli Sande has liberated her sophomore album online.

“Long Live the Angels” – featuring singles “Hurts,” “Garden” and “Breathing Underwater” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2012’s “Our Version of Evens” reunites Sande with regular collaborators Naughty Boy (Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith), Mojam (Fleur East, Ella Eyre) and Chris Loco (Rita Ora, Kylie Minogue).

Other album contributors include TMS (Olly Murs, Carly Rae Jepsen), Jonny Coffer (Beyoncé, All Saints), Wayne Hector (Jess Glynne, Diana Gordon) and Mac & Phil (Ava Lily, James Morrison).

Tamera Foster has teamed with Parker Ighile for a new collaboration.

Ighile recently produced six songs on Australian singer-songwriter GRACE’s debut album “FMA” including “Hope You Understand,” “You Don’t Own Me,” “From You,” “Feel Your Love” and “Song Cries and Amens.”

His other include Rihanna (“What Now”), Ariana Grande (“Piano”), Jessie J (“Do It Like a Dude”), Delta Goodrem (“Heart Hypnotic”), Angel (“Wonderful”), Chipmunk (“Oopsy Daisy”) and Nicki Minaj (“Four Door Avantador”).

Fans of Ighile’s work should also look out for the next projects by Ella Henderson [Syco], Imani Williams [Sony Music], Taya [Atlantic] and M.O [Polydor].

Meanwhile, Foster is expected to release her first studio collection in 2017 via Simon Cowell’s Sony imprint Syco Music.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further productions from Naughty Boy (Emeli Sande), Swizz Beatz (Alicia Keys), Mojam (Sam Smith), Chris Loco (Ella Eyre), Happy Perez (K. Michelle) and MNEK (Craig David).

Chloe x Halle have drafted Happy Perez for their upcoming debut album.

The hitmaker – real name Nathan Perez – is responsible for producing Mariah Carey’s “#Beautiful” [Def Jam], Ella Henderson’s “The First Time” [Syco Music] and K. Michelle’s “Pay My Bills” [Atlantic].

He also contributed to the next projects by Kehlani [Atlantic Records], Demi Lovato [Safehouse Records] and Tamera Foster [Syco Music].

Meanwhile, Chloe x Halle are expected to release their debut album later this year via Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly features further alliances with NOVA WAV (Britney Spears), Diana Gordon (Rita Ora), Benny Cassette (Lily Allen), Naughty Boy (Emeli Sande) and Chelsea Lena (Pia Mia).
