Teedra Moses announces sophomore album “Cognac & Conversation”

Teedra Moses has announced the details for her sophomore album.

The singer/songwriter christened her next studio collection “Cognac & Conversation” and will release it on June 23.

Lead single “Get it Right” is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets in partnership with Shanachie Records.

The keenly-awaited project also features the Rick Ross-assisted “All I Ever Wanted,” co-written and produced by Thaddeus Dixon.

Moses’ debut album, 2004’s “Complex Simplicity,” peaked to number twenty on the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Be Your Girl” and “You’ll Never Find (A Better Woman).”

On the songwriting front, Moses penned songs for Christina Milian (“Dip it Low”), Mary J. Blige (“So Lady”), Teairra Mari (“Get Up on Ya Gangsta”), Trina (“Here We Go”) and Macy Gray (“Finally Made Me Happy”).

She also collaborated with top musicians including Raphael Saadiq (Erykah Badu, Whitney Houston), Jim Jonsin (Ariana Grande, John Legend), Pharrell Williams (Usher, Justin Timberlake) and Ne-Yo (Beyonce, Kelly Rowland).

Singer/songwriter Chante Moore has revealed the official tracklisting, songwriting credits for her upcoming album, “Moore is More,” which is due in the United States on July 30 via Shanachie Records.

The new collection – which includes tracks such as “Jesus, I Want You” and “Don’t Make Me Laugh” – features contributions from Sam Watters, Louis Biancaniello, Treasure Davis, Kwame Holland, Brian Buie, Delfaireo “Fario” Emory, Waynne “Bruce Waynne” Nugent and Kevin “Dirty Swift” Risto.

Chante Moore has announced a new song title online.

“Don’t Make Me Laugh” is slotted for inclusion on the R&B singer/songwriter’s upcoming album, “Moore is More,” which is due in the United States on July 30 via eOne Entertainment / Shanachie Records.

The track was written by Chante Moore along with Brian Buie, Delfaireo Emory, Matthew Fonson and Kenneth Still.

As previously reported, the new collection – which serves as the follow-up to 2008’s “Love the Woman” – is confirmed to boast further contributions from Midi Mafia: Waynne “Bruce Waynne” Nugent & Kevin “Dirty Swift” Risto (Brandy, Frank Ocean) and Kwame Holland (Fantasia Barrino, Christina Aguilera).

Chante Moore has scheduled the release date for her upcoming sixth album.

The R&B singer/songwriter will release “Moore is More” in the United States on May 21 via Entertainment One Music / Shanachie Records.

Production on the new collection – which serves as the follow-up to 2008’s “Love the Woman” – is headed by Kwame Holland and Midi Mafia.

Holland is responsible for helming tracks including “Understand” by Christina Aguilera [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records] and “Ain’t No Other” by Keyshia Cole [Universal Music Group / Geffen Records].

Meanwhile, recent credits by Midi Mafia – consisting of members Kevin “Dirty Swift” Risto and Waynne “Bruce Waynne” Nugent – include “Pictures” by Conor Maynard [EMI Music Group / Parlophone Records] and “I’m a Man” by Cee Lo Green [Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records].
