Bananarama record MKS song for new album “In Stereo”

British female pop duo Bananarama – composed of Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward – have a recorded a song originally performed by MKS for their eleventh album, “In Stereo,” which will arrive on April 19 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

“Love in Stereo” was written by MKS members Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy alongside Hannah Robinson and Richard X, who are also responsible for Rachel Stevens’ “Some Girls,” Sophie Ellis Bextor’s “Starlight,” and Kylie Minogue’s “Can’t Beat the Feeling.”

Originally formed in 1998 as Sugababes, MKS have released their last single “Flatline” (which was co-written and produced by Blood Orange’s Devonte Hynes) in 2013 via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

Their highly-anticipated album featured further contributions from Richard “Biff” Stannard (“Beat is Gone”), Shaznay Lewis (“Boys”), Tom Aspaul (“Burnt Out”), MNEK (“Drum”), Iain James (“Love Me Hard”), Sia (“Surrender”), Eliot James (“Summer of 99”) and Mojam (“Too in Love”).

Shaznay Lewis reunites with Future Cut for new collaboration

Shaznay Lewis has reunited with Future Cut for a new collaboration.

Composed of Darren Lewis and Tunde Babalola, Future Cut previously teamed up with Lewis on songs performed by Stooshe (“Black Heart”), Little Mix (“How Ya Doing”), Cocknbullkid (“Distractions”) and Annabel Fey (“Already Home”).

The British production duo are also responsible for Lily Allen’s “Smile,” Olly Murs’s “Please Don’t Let Me Go,” Shakira’s “Gypsy,” Maxine Ashley’s “Happy With or Without You,” Laura Izibor’s “Shine,” Ava Leigh’s “Mad About the Boy” Sky Ferreira’s “On the Wire,” and Mae Muller’s “Leave it Out.”

Shaznay’s debut album, “Open,” was released in 19 July 2004 via London Records. That project peaked to number twenty two on the UK Albums Chart and spawned contributions from Rick Nowels (“I Never Felt Like This Before”), Basement Jaxx (“Mr. Dawg”) and Karl Gordon (“Heart Made Me a Fool”).

Besides co-writing the entirety of All Saints’ latest studio collection, “Testament,” Shaznay has also penned songs for Monrose (“This is Me”), Westlife (“Reach Out”), Pixie Lott (“When the World Walks Out”), Girls Can’t Catch (“Turn Me Up”) and Mutya Keisha Siobhan (“Only You”).

All Saints release new promotional single “Glorious”

British girl group All Saints – composed of Shaznay Lewis, Melanie Blatt, Nicole Appleton and Natalie Appleton – have released their new single online.

“Glorious” – which was co-written and produced by regular collaboration Karl “K-Gee” Gordon – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

All Saints’ upcoming fifth album “Testament” – featuring previous single “Love Lasts Forever” – will arrive on July 27th via AS Recordings.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Red Flag” yields additional contributions from George Moore, Fred Ball, William Orbit, and Peter “Hutch” Hutchings.

All Saints reunite with William Orbit for new album “Testament”

British girl group All Saints – consisting of members Shaznay Lewis, Melanie Blatt, Nicole Appleton and Natalie Appleton – have reunited with William Orbit for their upcoming album fifth studio collection “Testament.”

Orbit previously teamed up with All Saints on hit singles “Pure Shores” and “Black Coffee.” Taken from the group’s sophomore album “Saints and Sinners” (2000), both tracks topped the UK Albums Chart.

Among the other artists Orbit has collaborated with are Madonna (“Frozen”), Britney Spears (“Alien”), Chris Brown (“Don’t Wake Me Up”), Pink (“Feel Good Time”), Melanie C (“Go”), Ricky Martin (“Be Careful”), Nadine Coyle (“Unbroken”), Betty Boo (“24 Hours”) and Robbie Williams (“Summertime”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, All Saints are scheduled to release their new album “Testament” on July 13th via AS Recordings / London Records.

The British group – composed of Shaznay Lewis, Melanie Blatt, Nicole Appleton and Natalie Appleton – have christened their fifth studio collection “Testament” and will release it on July 13th via AS Recordings.

Lead single “Love Lasts Forever” – which was produced by regular collaborator Karl Gordon – will arrive on May 31st via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Red Flag” yields further productions from George Moore (Kwabs’ “Perfect Ruin” and Yebba Smith’s “Evergreen”) and Fred Ball (Rihanna’s “Love on the Brain” and Toni Braxton’s “Deadwood”).

Shaznay Lewis is an English singer, songwriter, and member of girl group All Saints. She has co-written most of the group’s songs, including number one singles: “Bootie Call”, “Pure Shores” and “Never Ever.”

Lewis launched a short solo career in 2004 with her debut solo album, “Open,” and singles “Never Felt Like This Before” and “You”. She has also written for other artists such as Fleur East, Alesha Dixon, and CocknBullKid.

Her other credits include Stooshe’s “Black Heart,” Little Mix’s “How Ya Doin’?,” Monrose’s “This is Me,” Annabel Fey’s “Already Home,” Westlife’s “Reach Out,” Pixie Lott’s “When the World Walks Out,” and MKS’ “Only You.”

Amongst the fellow songwriters Lewis has collaborated with are Cathy Dennis, Michelle Escoffery, Shelly Poole, Viktoria Hansen, Joanna “Jo” Perry, Anita Blay, Lucie Silvas, Jody Street, Lexie Lee, Cleopatra Humphrey, Gary Barlow, Wayne Hector, Bradford Ellis, Jonathan “Jonny” Coffer, and Paul Barry.

Her extensive resume boasts further works with producers Karl Gordon, Rick Nowels, Greg Kurstin, Future Cut, Cameron McVey, The Stereotypes, Fredro, Carl Ryden, Jonas Jeberg, Cutfather, Greg Wells, MNEK, William Orbit, Francis “Eg” White, Johnny Douglas, Invisible Men, Chris Braide, Fred Ball, TMS, Guy Chambers, Jonathan Shorten, Richard Stannard, and Stargate.

All Saints have unveiled the music video for their new single online.

The British female group posted the Rankin-directed clip for “This is a War” to their Vevo channel on Wednesday (June 08, 2016).

“This is a War” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by group member Shaznay Lewis along with Jonathan “Jonny” Coffer (Kiesza, Ella Eyre) and Jonathan Lipsey (Kylie Minogue, Laura Welsh).

All Saints’ latest studio collection “Red Flag” – featuring previous single “One Strike” – is now available for download via London Records.

“This is a War” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by Shaznay Lewis along with Jonathan “Jonny” Coffer (Emeli Sande, Sam Smith) and Jonathan Lipsey (Kylie Minogue, Laura Welsh).

As mentioned in earlier posts, All Saints are scheduled to release their fourth studio collection “Red Flag” – featuring the Pete “Hutch” Hutchings-produced lead single “One Strike” – on April 8 via London Records.

The British girl group – consisting of Shaznay Lewis, Nicole Appleton, Melanie Blatt and Natalie Appleton – posted the audio clip for “One Woman Man” to their Vevo channel on Thursday (March 17, 2015).

“One Woman Man” was written by Shaznay Lewis along with Dan “Utters” Radclyffe, who also worked with the likes of Maverick Sabre (“Come Fly Away”), Ella Eyre (“Home”) and Sinead Harnett (“No Other Way”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, All Saints’ fourth studio collection “Red Flag” – featuring the Pete Hutchings-produced lead single “One Strike” – will hit stores and online outlets on April 8 via London Records.
