Maeta releases debut EP “Do Not Disturb”

American singer/songwriter Maeta Hall, known mononymously as Maeta, has released her debut EP online.

“Do Not Disturb” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Besides lead single “Babygirl” (which was co-written by Livvi Franc and produced by Fred Ball), the EP also features five new songs in the shape of “Press Play,” “Payback,” “You Lie,” “Kind of Fool” and “Too Good.”

Other musicians backing Maeta on “Do Not Disturb” are Zaire Kaolo, Trevor Brown, Jaquetta Singleton, Murda Beatz, Starrah, P2J, Miguel Lagos, Julian Poku-Kyei, India Perkins, SLMN, Dylan Wiggins, and The Rascals.

Jojo confirms details for new single “Sabotage”

Jojo has confirmed the details for her new single.

The American singer/songwriter (born Joanna Levesque) has christened “Sabotage” as the first official single from her upcoming fourth album and will release it on October 25 via all digital streaming outlets.

The Chika-featuring track was co-written by fellow recording artist Merna Bishouty alongside Dan Wilson (Halsey, John Legend), Doc McKinney (Drake, Mary J. Blige) and Sir Dylan (Solange, The Weeknd).

Jojo’s forthcoming album – featuring previous single “Joanna” (which was co-written by Rebekah “Rose Gold” Muhammad, Natalie Dunn and Jeffrey “Jeff Gitty” Gitelman) – is expected to arrive later this year via Warner Records.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Mad Love” reportedly features additional contributions from Jermaine Dupri, Bryan Michael Cox, Diane Warren, Malay, Stacy Barthe, Jamie Hartman, Diana Gordon, Sebastian Kole, Isabella Kearney-Nurse, Oak Felder, Lowell, Max Wolfgang, and Stint.

American singer/songwriter Miguel Jontel Pimentel, known mononymously as Miguel, has unleashed his new studio collection online.

“War & Leisure” – featuring promotional singles “Sky Walker,” “Told You So” and “Come Through and Chill” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2015’s “Wildheart” boasts productions from Salaam Remi, Detail, Steve Mostyn, Jeff Bhasker, Happy Perez, Sidney Swift, Dave Sitek, Jerry “Wonda” Duplessis, Arden “Keyz” Altino, Sir Dylan, and Raphael Saadiq.

The Weeknd has released his third studio collection online.

“Starboy” – featuring singles “False Alarm,” “Party Monster” and “I Feel it Coming” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2014’s “Beauty Behind the Madness” reunites The Weeknd – real name Abel Tesfaye – with Doc McKinney, Cirkut, Ben Billions, Belly, DaHeala, Lana Del Rey, Savan Kotecha, Ali Payami, Peter Svensson, Max Martin, Labrinth, Cashmere Cat, Benny Blanco, and Diplo.

Solange unleashes new album “A Seat at the Table”

Solange has unleashed her new album online.

“A Seat at the Table” – featuring guest appearances from Kelela, Tweet, Lil Wayne, BJ The Chicago Kid, and Kelly Rowland – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Saint Records and Columbia Records.

Production duties on the highly-anticipated project were prominently handled by Raphael Saadiq (Erykah Badu, Mary J. Blige) and Troy “R8DIO” Johnson (Michelle Williams, Jennifer Lopez).

Other musicians backing Solange on the follow-up to 2012’s “True” are Questlove, Dave Longstreth, Sir Dylan, Kwes, Sampha, Dave Sitek, John Kirby, Adam Bainbridge, Rostam Batmanglij, and Patrick Wimberly.
