Snoh Aalegra delivers new single “Find Someone Like You”

Swedish singer/songwriter Snoh Sheri Nowrozi, known professionally as Snoh Aalegra, has delivered her new promotional single online.

“Find Someone Like You” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Aalegra alongside Marcus James (Ryan Trey, Bryson Tiller), George Moore (Yebba Smith, Paloma Faith) and Jonah Christian (Normani, Anderson Paak).

Aalegra’s upcoming debut album – featuring previous singles “You” and “I Want You Around” – is scheduled to arrive on August 16 via Artium Recordings.

On the highly-anticipated project, Aalegra has worked with Joel Compass (Tinashe, FKA twigs), P2J (Mario, Sinead Harnett), Ari PenSmith (GoldLink, Chris Brown) and Kurtis “K9” McKenzie (Khalid, Lauren Jauregui).

Snoh Aalegra drafts Christian Rich for new single “In Your River”

Snoh Aalegra has released a new song online.

“In Your River” – which was produced by siblings Taiwo Hassan and Kehinde Hassan of Christian Rich – is now available for download via iTunes.

The track is lifted from Aalegra’s second mini-collection “Don’t Explain,” which will hit online outlets on April 8th via ARTium Recordings.

Other musicians backing Aalegra on the on the follow-up to 2014’s “There Will Be Sunshine” are No ID (Jhene Aiko), DJ Dahi (Banks), James Fauntleroy (Ciara), Boi-1da (Drake) and Frank Dukes (Rihanna).

Snoh Aalegra has announced the details for her new EP.

The Swedish singer-songwriter christened her second mini-collection “Don’t Explain” and will release it on April 8 via Artium Recordings.

Lead single “Under the Influence” – now available for download via iTunes – was produced by regular collaborator Ernest “No ID” Wilson.

Other musicians backing Aalegra on the follow-up to 2014’s “There Will Be Sunshine” are DJ Dahi (Madonna), James Fauntleroy (Ciara), Boi-1da (Tinashe), Christian Rich (Drake) and Frank Dukes (Rihanna).

Snoh Aalegra taps DJ Dahi for debut album

Swedish singer/songwriter Snoh Aalegra has added DJ Dahi to the list of contributors for her upcoming debut album.

The record producer and songwriter – born Dacoury Natche – is known for collaborating with the likes of Drake [Republic Records], Kendrick Lamar [Interscope Records] and Vince Staples [Def Jam Recordings].

Some of his notable credits include Madonna’s “Beautiful Scars” [Interscope Records], Jazmine Sullivan’s “Brand New” [RCA Records], Lily Allen’s “Sheezus” [Parlophone Records] and Tinashe’s “Bet” [RCA Records].

Meanwhile, Aalegra is expected to release her first studio collection later this year through Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

Current single “Emotional” – now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets – was produced by Robert “RZA” Diggs.

The still-untitled CD boasts other alliances with No I.D. (Estelle, Jhene Aiko), James Fauntleroy (Beyonce, Mariah Carey), Sam Dew (Rihanna, Jessie Ware), Ilsey Juber (Kaskade, Pia Mia) and Clarence Coffee Jr. (Sia, Kylie Minogue).

Snoh Aalegra is making new music with Sam Dew.

Dew previously co-wrote Rihanna’s “Numb” [Def Jam Recordings], Jessie Ware’s “Sweetest Song” [Island Records] and Lianne La Havas’ “What You Don’t Do” [Warner Bros Records] and Marsha Ambrosius’ “Night Time” [RCA Records].

His debut EP “Damn Sue” – which was entirely produced by Dave Sitek – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with RCA Records.

Meanwhile, Aalegra may release her first studio collection later this year through Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

The still-untitled project – featuring lead single “Emotional” – serves as the follow-up to 2014’s “There Will Be Sunshine” EP.

Among the musicians backing Aalegra on debut album are No ID (Jhene Aiko, Elijah Blake), Ilsey Juber (Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez), RZA (Jay-Z, Kanye West) and Clarence Coffee Jr. (Selena Gomez, Carly Rae Jepsen).

Snoh Aalegra drops “Emotional” music video

Snoh Aalegra is out with the music video for her new single.

The Swedish singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for the RZA-produced “Emotional” to her Vevo channel on Thursday (March 12, 2015).

“Emotional” – which was co-written by Ilsey Juber and Clarence Coffee Jr – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

Video treatment was handled by British director Sarah Chatfield, whose other credits include Kelly Rowland’s “Motivation” [Republic Records] and The Saturdays’ “What About Us” [Fascination / Polydor Records].

Aalegra’s debut studio collection will be released later this year via Sony Music Entertainment imprint Epic Records, which is also home to artists including Mariah Carey, Tamar Braxton, Meghan Trainor and Fifth Harmony.

Furthermore, the still-untitled project and follow-up to 2014’s “There Will Be Sunshine” EP is executive produced Ernest “No I.D.” Wilson.

Snoh Aalegra has announced the details for her new single.

The singer/songwriter dubbed “Emotional” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming debut album and follow-up to 2014’s EP “There Will Be Sunshine.”

“Emotional” – which was written by Ilsey Juber and Clarence Coffee Jr. and produced by RZA – will be available for download from 11 February via iTunes in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment imprint Epic Records.

Ernest “No I.D.” Wilson serves as the executive producer for Aalegra’s first studio collection. The Hip Hop and R&B hitmaker is also overseeing the careers of Def Jam recording artists Jhene Aiko and Elijah Blake.
