Solange unleashes new album “When I Get Home”

American singer, songwriter and record producer Solange Knowles, known mononymously as Solange, has unleashed her new studio collection online.

“When I Get Home” – featuring guest appearances from Cassie, Tyler the Creator, Devin the Dude, Playboi Carti, Sampha, Gucci Mane, and Scarface – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2016’s “A Seat At the Table” also delivers productions and songwriting contributions from Pharrell Williams, The-Dream, Raphael Saadiq, Dev Hynes, Metro Boomin, John Key, Steve Lacy, Chassol, John Carroll Kirby, Panda Bear, Jamire Williams, and Standing on the Corner.

Solange has unleashed the music video for her new single online.

The singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Don’t Touch My Hair” – featuring Sampha – to her YouTube channel on Sunday (October 02, 2016).

Production duties on “Don’t Touch My Hair” were collectively handled by Solange alongside Sampha, Dave Sitek, Bryndon Cook, Patrick Wimberly, Raphael Saadiq and Troy “R8DIO” Johnson.

Solange’s latest studio collection “A Seat at the Table” is now available for download via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Meanwhile, the physical edition of the album will arrive on November 18 via Saint Records in partnership with Columbia Records.

The singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Cranes in the Sky” to her YouTube channel on Sunday (October 02, 2016).

Production duties on “Cranes in the Sky” were collectively handled by Solange alongside Raphael Saadiq (Mary J. Blige, Teedra Moses) and Troy “R8DIO” Johnson (Kelly Rowland, Jennifer Lopez).

“A Seat at the Table” – featuring guest appearances from Kelela, Tweet, Lil Wayne, BJ The Chicago Kid, and Kelly Rowland – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Saint Records and Columbia Records.

Production duties on the highly-anticipated project were prominently handled by Raphael Saadiq (Erykah Badu, Mary J. Blige) and Troy “R8DIO” Johnson (Michelle Williams, Jennifer Lopez).

Other musicians backing Solange on the follow-up to 2012’s “True” are Questlove, Dave Longstreth, Sir Dylan, Kwes, Sampha, Dave Sitek, John Kirby, Adam Bainbridge, Rostam Batmanglij, and Patrick Wimberly.

Solange confirms details for new album “A Seat at the Table”

Solange has unwrapped the details for her upcoming third album.

The American singer-songwriter christened her next studio collection “A Seat at the Table” and will release it on September 30 via iTunes in partnership with Saint Records and Columbia Records.

The highly anticipated project delivers guest appearances from Kelela (“Scales”), Devonte Hynes (“This Moment”), Sampha (“Don’t Touch My Hair”), The-Dream (“F.U.B.U.”), Q-Tip (“Borderline”), Lil Wayne (“Mad”) and Tweet (“Weary”).

Solange’s previous album, 2008’s “Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams,” debuted at number nine on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “I Decided” and “Sandcastle Disco.”

Its follow-up, 2012’s mini-collection “True,” was released via Terrible Records and executively produced by Solange alongside regular collaborator Devonte Hynes. The critically acclaimed EP featured singles “Losing You” and the Melanie Fiona-assisted “Lovers in the Parking Lot.”

Melanie Fiona confirms new single “Bite the Bullet”

Melanie Fiona has confirmed the title for her new single.

The Canadian singer/songwriter christened “Bite the Bullet” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming third studio album.

“Bite the Bullet” will be available for download from May 12 via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

Fiona last appearance was in the shape of the track “Where it Counts,” taken from the compilation album “BET Presents Music Matters, Vol. 1.” Fiona wrote “Where it Counts” along with Tiffany Fred (Tamar Braxton, Keri Hilson) and Salaam Remi (Jazmine Sullivan, Mack Wilds).

Furthermore, Fiona co-wrote “Lovers in the Parking Lot” for Solange Knowles along with Devonte “Blood Orange” Hynes. The track is lifted from Solange’s mini-album “True,” out now via Terrible Records.

As for the new album, Fiona has reportedly collaborated with Jerry Duplessis (Miguel, Jennifer Hudson), Andrea Martin (Fergie, Toni Braxton), Jack Splash (Alicia Keys, Jamie Foxx), Andre Harris (Ciara, Mariah Carey), Carlos McKinney (Usher, Kelly Rowland) and Alan Nglish (Taio Cruz, CeeLo Green).

Fiona’s last studio album, 2012’s “The MF Life,” peaked to number 7 on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “Gone and Never Coming Back,” “This Time,” “4 AM” and “Wrong Side of a Love Song.”

Ella Eyre hits the studio with CeeLo Green

Ella Eyre is making music with CeeLo Green.

There’s been no word on what the pair worked on last night, or whether the session was intended for a future CeeLo release or Eyre’s debut album.

Green – born Thomas Callaway – previously co-wrote and / or produced “Don’t Cha” by Pussycat Dolls [Interscope Records], “Sandcastle Disco” by Solange [Geffen Records] and “Take Control” by Amerie [Columbia Records].

He also announced that his next album is entitled “Girl Power.” The highly-anticipated LP – which serves as the follow-up to 2010’s “Lady Killer” – is expected to be released later this year via Elektra Records.

Meanwhile, Eyre has recently released the video for her new single “Comeback.” The track – which was co-written by Alexander Kronlund, Oscar Goerres and Ilya Salmanzadeh – is now available for pre-order via iTunes (UK).

Her first studio collection – yet to be titled – is confirmed to yield contributions from Richard “Biff” Stannard (Ellie Goulding, Kylie Minogue), Chris Loco (Emeli Sande, Leona Lewis) and Jarrad “Jaz” Rogers (Charli XCX, Demi Lovato).
