Zara Larsson teams with Tom Walker on new song “Now You’re Gone”

Zara Larsson has teamed up with fellow recording artist Tom Walker on a new song “Now You’re Gone,” taken from Walker’s debut studio collection, “What a Time to Be Alive,” which is now available via Sony Music/Relentless Records.

The track was co-written by Chelcee Grimes (Dua Lipa’s “Kiss and Make Up”, Louisa Johnson’s “So Good,” Kylie Minogue’s “Million Miles”) and Steve Mac (Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You,” Rita Ora’s “Your Song,” Craig David’s “Brand New”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Larsson is currently working on her upcoming studio collection under TEN Music Group / Epic Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers productions from Max Martin, HitImpulse, Will IDAP, Jordan Riley, Goldgfingers, Rami Yacoub, Carassius Gold, Grades, Cass Lowe, Digital Farm Animals, and Electric.

On the songwriting front, Larsson has worked with Caroline Ailin, Max Wolfgang, Dyo, Erik Hassle, Jin Jin, Marlon Roudette, Nat Dunn, Leland, Whitney Phillips, Michael Pollack, and Delacey.

Alicia Keys reunites with Emeli Sande for new collaboration

Alicia Keys has reunited with Emeli Sande for a new collaboration.

“QUEEN KEYS!! ️ What an honour it’s been to create again with one of my musical heros! She’s shown me so much love from before I’d even released any music back in 2011. Her work ethic, talent and kindness blows me away every time we get in the studio. Made some serious magic with her and @reallindaperry over the last few days ️️️ can’t wait for you to hear!,” Sande posted to her Instagram profile on Friday (March 01, 2019).

Sande previously worked with Keys on the track “Hope,” taken from Sande’s debut album, “Our Version of Events.” The pair also worked on “101,” “Not Even the King,” “Brand New Me” and “Kill Your Mama,” taken from Keys’ albums “Girl on Fire” (2012) and “Here” (2016), respectively.

Sande’s songwriting resume boasts additional works with Rihanna (“Half of Me”), Antonique Smith (“All We Really Have is Now”), Katy Perry (“It Takes Two”), Mary J. Blige (“Whole Damn Year”), Gabrielle (“It Takes Time”), Leona Lewis (“Trouble”), Elle Varner (“Runaway”) and Alesha Dixon (“Radio”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Keys is expected to release her eighth studio collection – featuring current promotional single “Raise a Man” – later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Chloe x Halle enlist Scott Storch for new collaboration

American contemporary R&B duo Chloe x Halle – composed of sisters Chloe and Halle Bailey – have enlisted Scott Storch for a new collaboration.

“Thank you @beyonce for giving me the chance to work with your artists @chloexhalle !! They are so talented and we made a smash,” Storch posted to his Instagram profile on Thursday (February 28, 2019).

Storch’s extensive production resume boasts works with Beyonce (“Baby Boy”), Christina Aguilera (“Fighter”), Pink (“Family Portrait”), Janet Jackson (“Island Life”), Mario (“Let Me Love You”), Kelly Rowland (“Work”), Toni Braxton (“Please”), Mya (“Lock You Down”) and Chris Brown (“Undecided”).

Meanwhile, Chloe x Halle are expected to release their upcoming sophomore album later this year via Parkwood Entertainment/Columbia Records.

Their debut studio collection, 2018’s “The Kids Are Alright,” peaked to number four on the US Billboard Heatseekers Albums Chart and spawned contributions from Diana Gordon, Tayla Parx, Isa Machine, Sad Money, Malay, and The Messengers (aka Nasri Atweh and Adam Messenger).

American singer, songwriter and record producer Solange Knowles, known mononymously as Solange, has unleashed her new studio collection online.

“When I Get Home” – featuring guest appearances from Cassie, Tyler the Creator, Devin the Dude, Playboi Carti, Sampha, Gucci Mane, and Scarface – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2016’s “A Seat At the Table” also delivers productions and songwriting contributions from Pharrell Williams, The-Dream, Raphael Saadiq, Dev Hynes, Metro Boomin, John Key, Steve Lacy, Chassol, John Carroll Kirby, Panda Bear, Jamire Williams, and Standing on the Corner.

Cosha drafts Emile Haynie for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Cassia O’Reilly, professionally known as Cosha, has drafted Emile Haynie for a new collaboration.

Besides releasing his debut album “We Fall” in 2015 via Interscope Records, Haynie also co-wrote and produced songs for Lana Del Rey (“Summertime Sadness”), Bruno Mars (“Locked Out of Heaven”), Dua Lipa (“New Love”), Camila Cabello (“Consequences”) and Emeli Sande (“My Kind of Love”).

Meanwhile, Cosha’s latest collection “R.I.P Bonzai” – featuring contributions from Rostam Batmanglij, Jeff Gitty, Mura Masa, Grades, Francis “Eg” White, and Danny L Harle – is now available via all digital streaming outlets.

Her upcoming project – which reportedly delivers additional alliances with Ariel Rechtshaid, Justin Raisen, Stint, Cass Lowe, Fred Ball, Tricky Stewart, and Justin Parker – is expected to arrive later this year via Sony Music UK.

Alicia Keys premieres music video for new single “Raise a Man”

Alicia Keys has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The visual clip for “Raise a Man” was posted to the American singer, songwriter and record producer’s YouTube channel on Thursday (February 21, 2019).

The track co-written by Terius “The-Dream” Nash, whose latest project “Ménage à Trois: Sextape Vol. 1, 2, 3,” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on “Raise a Man” were collectively handled by Alicia Keys alongside Larrance Dopson, who is also responsible for Kali Uchis’s “Tyrant,” Justin Timberlake’s “Say Something,” Mariah Carey’s “8th Grade,” Little Mix’s “More Than Words,” and Kendrick Lamar’s “These Walls.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Keys is expected to release her eighth studio collection later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Here” reportedly delivers further contributions from Tricky Stewart, Mark Ronson, DaHeala, Foy Vance, Arrow Benjamin, Fred Ball, Stacy Barthe, Johnny McDaid, Andrew Wyatt, Linda Perry, Asia Whiteacre, Pierre Medor, and Jeremiah “SickPen” Bethea.

Rak-Su release new mini-album “Rome”

British group Rak-Su – composed of Ashley Fongho, Jamaal Shurland, Mustafa Rahimtulla and Myles Stephenson – have released their new EP online.

“Rome” – featuring four new songs in the shape of “Into It,” “Thunder,” “Stick Around” and “Blood Ties” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The new project boasts productions and songwriting contributions from Banx & Ranx (Ella Eyre), Lil Eddie (Prince Royce), Chris Loco (Sabrina Claudio), RyKeyz (Fantasia Barrino), Amy Allen (Halsey), Tre Jean-Marie (Joy Crookes), Andrew Wells (Bebe Rexha) and Jacob Manson (Craig David).
