Sam Smith confirms title for sophomore album

Sam Smith has confirmed the title for his upcoming sophomore album.

The British singer/songwriter (born Samuel Frederick Smith) christened his second studio collection “TPH-50HR” (which means The Pink House 50 Heydon Road) and will release it in September via Capitol Records.

The highly-anticipated project reunites Smith with regular collaborator Jimmy Napes (born James Napier), who also contributed to the next projects by Mumford and Sons, Ray BLK, Tori Kelly, Rita Ora, Liv Dawson, Eliza Caird, Raye, Clean Bandit, Etham, Ria Ritchie, and Yebba.

The follow-up to 2014’s “In the Lonely Hour” reportedly boasts additional songwriting contributions from Levi Lennox (FKA twigs), Rachel Furner (Craig David), Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd (Kelly Rowland), Sophie “Frances” Cooke (Meghan Trainor) and Iain James (Olly Murs).

Among the producers expected to appear on the album are Malay (Frank Ocean), Cass Lowe (Sinead Harnett), Two Inch Punch (Rag’n’Bone Man), Martin Sjolie (Charlotte OC), Paul Epworth (John Legend), Fred Cox (Grace Carter), Joel Little (Lorde), Timbaland (Beyonce) and Fraser T. Smith (Stormzy).

Liv Dawson confirms details for new promotional single

Liv Dawson has confirmed the details for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter (born Olivia Ellen Dawson) christened “Painkiller” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming project under Method Records.

Co-written with James Hatcher and Andy Clutterbuck of UK electronic music duo Honne; “Painkiller” is scheduled to arrive on August 11 via via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Featuring previous singles “Somewhere Good” and “Last Time;” Dawson’s next project reportedly boasts further contributions from Knightstarr (Craig David), Frances (Meghan Trainor), Sam Romans (John Legend), Lucy Taylor (Dua Lipa), Max McElligott (John Newman) and TMS (Becky Hill).

Kara Marni teams with Mullally for new collaboration

Kara Marni has teamed up with fellow recording artist Mullally for a new collaboration.

The British singer/songwriter (born Connor Mullally-Knight) is known for his singles “Wonderful,” “Overdose” and “Troubled Love,” which are now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

His upcoming project – featuring alliances with Daniel “GRADES” Traynor, Max McElligott, and Ari PenSmith – is expected to arrive later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

Meanwhile, Marni’s upcoming project under First Access Entertainment reportedly delivers further songwriting contributions from Andrea Martin (Leona Lewis), Frances (Meghan Trainor), Amy Wadge (Ed Sheeran), Eyelar Mirzazadeh (Kylie Minogue), Grace Tither (Craig David), Fabienne Holloway (Janelle Monae) and Autumn Rowe (Kacy Hill).

Martin in known for co-writing Monica’s “Before You Walk Out of My Life,” Toni Braxton’s “I Love Me Some Him,” Blu Cantrell’s “Breathe,” SWV’s “You’re the One,” En Vogue’s “Don’t Let Go (Love),” Angie Stone’s “Wish I Didn’t Miss You,” Melanie Fiona’s “It Kills Me,” Leona Lewis’ “Better with Time,” Jennifer Hudson’s “I Still Love You,” and Fantasia Barrino’s “Lose to Win.”

Her extensive resume boasts additional works with producers including Stargate, Richard “Biff” Stannard, Chris Loco, Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem, Lucas Secon, Swizz Beatz, Jonas Jeberg, Cutfather, Rodney Jerkins, Future Cut, Jack Splash, RedOne, Fraser T.
