Liv Dawson shares new promotional single “Hush”

British singer/songwriter Olivia Ellen Dawson, professionally known as Liv Dawson, has shared her new promotional single online.

“Hush” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written and produced by Jimmy Napes, whose other credits include Sam Smith’s “Too Good at Goodbyes,” Alicia Keys’ “Hallelujah,” Madonna’s “Best Night,” Gregory Porter’s “Holding On,” Ray BLK’s “Doing Me,” Ellie Goulding’s “Heal,” and Kwabs’ “Father Figure.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Dawson’s upcoming project – featuring previous singles “Painkiller,” “Somewhere Good,” “Last Time,” and “Searching” – is expected to arrive early next year via Method Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts additional alliances with Lostboy (Mabel McVey), Nataliya Phillips (Anne-Marie), Fraser T. Smith (Raye), Max McElligott (John Newman), Knightstarr (Tori Kelly), Jordan Riley (Nina Nesbitt), Frances (Ella Henderson) and Sam Romans (John Legend).

Kara Marni teams with Arlissa, All About She for new song “Just Us”

Kara Marni has revealed a new song from her upcoming debut project.

“Just Us” was written by Marni alongside fellow recording artist Arlissa and UK production duo All About She (composed of Jonathan Clare and James Tadgell).

Having previously collaborated with Arlissa on unreleased cuts “Crazy,” “Strangers,” and “Hearts Ain’t Gonna Lie;” All About She have also written songs with Calvin Harris (“Love Now”), VV Brown (“Bullet”), Sasha Keable (“Careless Over You”), Charli XCX (“Four By Four”), Karen Harding (“Starlight”), Imani Williams (“Got My Love”), Lauren Faith (“Love Can Wait”), Melissa Steel (“Making it Rain”) and Camden Cox (“Spirals”).

Meanwhile, Arlissa’s current singles “Love Was Made for Saving” and “Every Time I Breathe” – which was collectively helmed by Michael Pollack, Jeff Gitty, and William “Cook Classics” Lobban-Bean – are now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in various media outlets, Marni’s upcoming mini-album – featuring the Sebastian Kole-assisted / Invisible Men-produced lead single “Gold” – is expected to arrive early next year via Access Records.

Meghan Trainor hits the studio with Tobias Jesso Jr.

American singer/songwriter Meghan Trainor has teamed up with fellow recording artist Tobias Jesso Jr. for an upcoming project.

Jesso Jr. recently co-penned and produced “You Get My Love,” taken from Pink’s latest studio collection under RCA Records, “Beautiful Trauma.”

The Canadian musician’s resume boasts additional songwriting/production works with Sia (“Alive”), Niall Horan (“Slow Hands”), Adele (“When We Were Young”), John Legend (“Marching Into the Dark”), Liv Dawson (“Last Time”), Shawn Mendes (“Roses”) and Jarryd James (“How Do We Make It”).

Meanwhile, Trainor is expected to release her third studio collection and follow-up to 2016’s “Thank You” early next year via Epic Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts additional alliances with Jacob “JKash” Kasher (Charlie Puth, Selena Gomez), Gamal “LunchMoney” Lewis (Zara Larsson, Jason Derulo), Tyler Johnson (Cam, Sam Smith) and Sophie “Frances” Cooke (Ella Henderson, Jess Glynne).

Taya enlists Frances, The Electric for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Taylor Fowlis, known mononymously as Taya, has drafted Frances and The Electric for a new collaboration.

Having released her debut album “Things I’ve Never Said” earlier this year via Method Records and Captiol Records; Frances (born Sophie Cooke) has also penned songs on the next projects by fellow recording artists Meghan Trainor, Jess Glynne, Ella Henderson, Liv Dawson, and Kara Marni.

Meanwhile, The Electric (composed of Edvard Erfjord and Henrik Michelsen) are responsible for producing Little Mix’s “Is Your Love Enough?,” Fifth Harmony’s “Don’t Say You Love Me,” Machine Gun Kelly’s “At My Best,” Fleur East’s “Sax,” Olly Murs’s “Love You More,” and M.O’s “Not in Love.”

Taya’s next project – boasting further productions and songwriting contributions from Alan Sampson, Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Lostboy, Chiara Hunter, Evan “Kidd” Bogart, Dayo Olatunji, Ollie Green, Lauren Aquilina, and Tre Jean-Marie – is expected to arrive early next year via Atlantic Records.

Her self-titled mini-album – featuring promotional singles “When Ur Sober,” “Got Me Wondering” and “Deeper” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

British singer/songwriter Kara Marni has drafted Laura Dockrill and Ollie Green for a new collaboration.

Dockrill’s songwriting resume boasts works with Anne-Marie (“Karate”), MNEK (“More than a Miracle”), Elli Ingram (“Table for Two”), Javeon (“Give Up”), Dornik (“Drive”), Jessie Ware (“Small Talk”) and Courage (“Wild at Heart”).

Meanwhile, Green is known for co-penning and/or producing cuts performed by Frances (“Love Me Again”), Alex Newell (“Devilish”), Freya Ridings (“Maps”), Jones (“Indulge”), Leo Kalyan (“Daydream”), Alan Walker (“Tired”), John Gibbons (“Sunglasses in the Rain”) and Gavin James (“Hearts on Fire”).

British singer/songwriter Sam Smith has unwrapped the artwork and tracklisting for his upcoming sophomore album, “The Thrill of it All,” which will arrive on November 3rd via PMR Records and Capitol Records.

Current promotional single “Pray” – which was collectively produced by Jimmy Napes, Steve Fitzmaurice and Timbaland – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

In addition to confirmed contributors Stargate (“Too Good at Goodbyes”), Tyler Johnson (“One Last Song”) and Malay (“Midnight Train”); the follow-up to 2014’s “In the Lonely Hour” reportedly boasts further alliances with Two Inch Punch, Frances, Joel Little, Rachel Furner, Cass Lowe, Levi Lennox, Paul Epworth, Martin Sjolie, Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd, and Tobias Jesso Jr.

British singer/songwriter Samuel Frederick Smith, professionally known as Sam Smith, has selected “Pray” as the second promotional single from his upcoming sophomore album under PMR Records and Capitol Records.

Co-written with Timothy “Timbaland” Mosley and James “Jimmy Napes” Napier; “Pray” will be available from October 6th via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Current promotional single, the Stargate-produced “Too Good at Goodbyes,” debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart and peaked to number five on the US Billboard Hot 100 Single Chart.

On the highly-anticipated follow-up to 2014’s “In the Lonely Hour,” Smith has also worked with songwriters and producers including Fred Cox, Rachel Furner, Martin Sjolie, Frances, Levi Lennox, Malay, Jason Boyd, Two Inch Punch, Cass Lowe, Paul Epworth, Joel Little, and Tobias Jesso Jr.
