Anne-Marie reunites with Ina Wroldsen, Steve Mac for new promotional single “Then”

Anne-Marie has confirmed the details for her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter (born Anne-Marie Nicholson) christened “Then” as her next promotional cut and will release it on December 15 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by fellow recording artist Ina Wroldsen, whose other credits include Clean Bandit’s “Symphony,” Jess Glynne’s “Hold My Hand,” Sofia Carson’s “Love is the Name,” Madison Beer’s “Melody,” Jasmine Thompson’s “Adore,” and Britney Spears’ “He About to Lose Me.”

Production duties on “Then” were handled by Steve Mac, who is also responsible for Pink’s “What About Us,” Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You,” Louisa Johnson’s “So Good,” Birdy’s “Hear You Calling,” Zara Larsson’s “Don’t Let Me Be Yours,” Rita Ora’s “Your Song,” and Liam Payne’s “Bedroom Floor.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Anne-Marie’s upcoming debut album – featuring previous promotional singles “Heavy,” “Ciao Adios” and “Alarm” – is expected to arrive early next year via Major Tom’s Music in partnership with Asylum Records (UK) and Atlantic Records (US).

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further contributions from Chris Loco, Emily Warren, Moon Willis, Kamille, Justin Parker, Negin Djafari, Fred Cox, Amy Wadge, Jonas Jeberg, Raye, Bless Beats, Sasha Sloan, Fraser T. Smith, Chelcee Grimes, Jamie Scott, Stacy Barthe, Jesse Shatkin, Natasha Bedingfield, Digital Farm Animals, Jin Jin, Ed Sheeran, and Mojam Music.

Alicia Keys guests on Eminem’s new album “Revival”

American singer-songwriter-record producer Alicia Keys has provided guest vocals on the track “Like Home,” taken from Eminem’s upcoming ninth album “Revival,” out on December 15 via Aftermath / Shady / Interscope Records.

“Like Home” was co-written by Skylar Grey alongside Andrew Jackson, whose other credits include Galantis’ “Written in the Stars,” Sean Paul’s “No Lie,” Rag’n’Bone Man’s “Bitter End,” Charlie Wilson’s “New Addiction,” Alex Newell’s “This Ain’t Over,” Frank Walker’s “Piano,” and Olly Murs’ “Love You More.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Keys is expected to release her seventh studio collection early next year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts contributions from Fred Ball (Toni Braxton), Arrow Benjamin (Beyonce), Stacy Barthe (Katy Perry), Emile Haynie (Delilah), Foy Vance (Ed Sheeran), Andrew Wyatt (Bruno Mars), Kaytranada (Cassie), DaHeala (The Weeknd) and Swizz Beatz (Mary J. Blige).

Stacy Barthe has teased a new collaboration with Janelle Monae.

“When your fellow unicorn summons you to come out and play… #janellemonae,” the American singer/songwriter posted to her Instagram profile on Tuesday (November 28, 2017).

Barthe’s songwriting resume boasts works with Alicia Keys (“Limitedless”), Melanie Fiona (“Like I Love You”), Britney Spears (“Blur”), Katy Perry (“Hummingbird Heartbeat”), Miley Cyrus (“Adore You”), Bridget Kelly (“Carry My Cross”), Rihanna (“Cheers”), Lauriana Mae (“Flaws & All”), Marsha Ambrosius (“Honey Pot”) and Teyana Taylor (“Outta My League”).

Her debut album “Becoming,” released in 2015 via John Legend’s label Home School Records in partnership with Motown Records, spawned contributions from fellow musicians including Malay (“War IV Love”), Oren Yoel (“In My Head”), Claude Kelly (“Me Versus Me”), Darhyl “DJ” Camper (“Flawed Beautiful Creatures”) and Benny Cassette (“Live for Today”).

Monae, on the other hand, is expected to release her upcoming studio collection early next year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.
