Fergie releases sophomore album “Double Dutchess”

American singer/songwriter Stacy Ann Ferguson, known professionally as Fergie, has released her sophomore studio collection online.

“Double Dutchess” – featuring singles “L.A. Love (La La),” “M.I.L.F. $,” “Life Goes On” and “You Already Know” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2006’s “The Dutchess” boasts songwriting contributions from Diana Gordon (Rita Ora), Justin Tranter (Gwen Stefani), Kristinia Stephens (Jennifer Lopez), Sean “The Pen” Garrett (Britney Spears), Tayla Parx (Christina Aguilera), George Pajon Jr. (Macy Gray) and Rock City (Kelly Rowland).

On the production front, Fergie has worked with will.i.am (Justin Timberlake), Toby Gad (Alicia Keys), DJ Ammo (Sean Paul), Polow Da Don (Tamar Braxton), Keith Harris (Usher), RoccStar (Zendaya), Dr. Luke (Trey Songz), Cirkut (Ava Max) and Philip “Hardwork” Constable (Grace Sewell).

Fergie reveals tracklisting for sophomore album “Double Dutchess”

American singer/songwriter Stacy Ann Ferguson, known mononymously as Fergie, has revealed the tracklisting for her second album, “Double Dutchess,” which will arrive later this year via Dutchess Music / BMG Records.

The follow-up to 2006’s “The Dutchess” boasts songwriting contributions from Rock City (Usher), Jocelyn “Jo’zzy” Donald (Zendaya), George Pajon (Ricky Martin), Justin Tranter (Britney Spears), Diana Gordon (Rita Ora) and Jean Baptiste Kouame (Chris Brown).

On the production front, Fergie has teamed up with Toby Gad (Alicia Keys), Polow Da Don (Robin Thicke), DJ Mustard (Tinashe), RoccStar (Prince Royce), Keith Harris (Mary J. Blige), Philip “Hardwork” Contable (Sean Paul), Dr. Luke (Meghan Trainor) and Cirkut (The Weeknd).

Fergie premieres music video for new single “Life Goes On”

Fergie has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The singer-songwriter – real name Stacy Ferguson – posted the visual clip for “Life Goes On” to her Vevo channel on Friday (December 16, 2016).

“Life Goes On” – now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets – was co-written by Tristan Prettyman and George Pajon Jr. with collective production duties from Toby Gad and Keith Harris.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Fergie will release her sophomore album “Double Dutchess” in 2017 via will.i.am Music Group / Interscope Records.

The keenly-awaited project follows 2006’s “The Dutchess,” which debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “London Bridge,” “Clumsy” and “Big Girls Don’t Cry.”

“Life Goes On” – which was co-written by Fergie alongside Tristan Prettyman and George Pajon Jr. – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on “Life Goes On” were handled by Toby Gad (Ella Eyre, Jess Glynne) and Keith Harris (Mary J. Blige, Britney Spears).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Fergie is scheduled to release her sophomore album, “Double Dutchess,” via will.i.am Music Group / Interscope Records.

Fergie has released her new single online.

“M.I.L.F. $” – now available for download via iTunes – marks the first promotional cut from Fergie’s sophomore album, “Double Dutchess.”

The track was co-written by Jocelyn “Jo’zzy” Donald, who also worked with the likes of Monica [RCA], Zendaya [Republic] and Chris Brown [RCA].

Production duties were handled by Jamal “Polow Da Don” Jones, who previously teamed up with Fergie on hit singles “London Bridge” and the Ludacris-assisted “Glamorous.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, “Double Dutchess” will be released later this year through Interscope Records.

The follow-up to 2006’s “The Dutchess” reportedly delivers additonal contributions from Toby Gad, Jean Baptiste Kouame, Stephan Moccio, Charlie Puth, Mike WiLL Made It, Williedonut, and RoccStar.

Fergie has selected the title for her upcoming sophomore album.

The singer-songwriter – real name Stacy Ferguson – christened her second studio collection “Double Dutchess” and will release it later this year through Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

Lead single “L.A. Love (La La)” peaked to number twenty-seven on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart. The track was co-written by siblings Theron and Timothy Thomas of Rock City and produced by DJ Mustard.

“Double Dutchess” reportedly delivers additional alliances with Toby Gad (Madonna), Stephan Moccio (The Weeknd), Charlie Puth (Kehlani), Mike WiLL Made It (Ciara), RoccStar (Usher) and Jean Baptiste Kouame (Rihanna).

Fergie drafts Charlie Puth for new album

Fergie has drafted Charlie Puth for her upcoming third album.

“Making a jam with @Fergie today. It’s very sexy,” Puth posted to his Twitter account on Wednesday (June 24, 2015).

Puth is known for writing and providing vocals on hit single “See You Again” by Wiz Khalifa. Commercial performance-wise, the track peaked to number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

Furthermore, Puth’s resume includes additional works with CeeLo Green [Atlantic Records], Jason Derulo [Beluga Heights / Warner Bros Records] and Meghan Trainor [Epic Records].

Meanwhile, Fergie is expected to release her next studio collection later this year through Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

The still-untitled project features alliances with Jean Baptiste Kouame (Madonna, Chris Brown), RoccStar (Usher, Prince Royce), DJ Mustard (Tinashe, Keyshia Cole) and Mike WiLL Made It (Rihanna, Miley Cyrus).

Fergie’s last album, 2006’s “The Dutchess,” peaked to number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “London Bridge,” “Fergalicious,” “Glamourous,” and “Big Girls Don’t Cry.”
