Sabrina Carpenter confirms new single “Almost Love”

Sabrina Carpenter has confirmed the details for her new single.

The American singer, songwriter, and actress christened “Almost Love” as her next promotional cut and will release it on June 6 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Steph Jones and Nate Campany with production duties from Tor Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen of Stargate, who are also responsible for Tinashe’s “No Drama,” Majid Jordan’s “Body Talk,” Sam Smith’s “Too Good at Goodbyes,” Camila Cabello’s “OMG,” and Daya’s “New.”

Carpenter’s third studio collection – featuring previous promotional singles “Why” and “Alien” – is scheduled to arrive later this year via Hollywood Records.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Evolution” reportedly yields additional alliances with The Futuristics, Alex Hope, Ido Zmishlany, Madison Love, Warren “Oak” Felder, Sasha Sloan, JHart, Ilsey Juber, Oscar Gorres, Delacey, and James Ghaleb.

PrettyMuch deliver debut mini-album

American-Canadian boy band PrettyMuch – composed of members Austin Porter, Nick Mara, Edwin Honoret, Brandon Arreaga and Zion Kuwonu – have delivered their debut mini-album online.

“PrettyMuch an EP” – featuring four new songs in the shape of “Hello,” “10,000 Hours,” “Healthy” and “On My Way” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The Syco Music project boasts productions from Axident, Big Taste, Gladius, Warren “Oak” Felder, ADP, Julian Bunetta, Fred Gibson, and The Electric.

On the songwriting front, PrettyMuch have worked with Steph Jones, Nate Cyphert, Wayne Hector, Talay Riley, Sean Douglas, and Rachel “Raye” Keen.

Sabrina Carpenter teams up with Jonas Blue for new single “Alien”

American singer/songwriter Sabrina Carpenter has teamed up with British DJ/record producer Jonas Blue for his new single “Alien,” which will arrive on March 16 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was co-written by Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, whose other credits include Jess Glynne’s “Hold My Hand,” Sigala’s “Lullaby,” Raye’s “Decline,” Yebba Smith’s “Evergreen,” Kiesza’s “Don’t Want You Back,” Tinie Tempah’s “Not Letting Go,” and Jax Jones’ “You Don’t Know Me.”

Meanwhile, Carpenter is expected to release her upcoming third album and follow-up to 2016’s “Evolution” later this year via Hollywood Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers productions and songwriting contributions from The Futuristics, Steph Jones, Trevor Brown, Ido Zmishlany, Madison Love, Warren “Oak” Felder, Sasha Sloan, Delacey, Alex Hope, Stargate, Nate Campany, Bastian Langebaek, JHart, and The Monsters & Strangerz.

Bea Miller delivers sophomore album “Aurora”

American singer/songwriter Bea Miller has delivered her new album online.

“Aurora” – featuring promotional singles “Song Like You” and “S.L.U.T.” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2015’s “Not an Apology” boasts songwriting contributions from Steph Jones, Cara Salimando, Sizzy Rocket, Paris Carney, Cole Citrenbaum, Julia Michaels, and Justin Tranter.

On the production front, Miller was worked with Warren “Oak” Felder, Trevorious, Zaire Kaolo, Ido Zmishlany, Jarrad Rogers, Spencer Bastian, Jintae Ko, Mike Sabath, Jesse Shatkin, Cole Citrenbaum, DJ Stanfill, Imad Royal, Dylan Bauld, Michel Heyaca, Gladius James, and Dreamlab.

Cheryl reunites with Nicola Roberts, Naughty Boy for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Cheryl Ann Tweedy, known mononymously as Cheryl, has reunited with fellow recording artist Nicola Roberts and record producer Naughty Boy for a new collaboration.

Roberts previously co-wrote “It’s About Time” and “Goodbye Means Hello” alongside producers Invisible Men, James Draper and Lucas Secon, respectively. Both tracks appear on Cheryl’s 2014 album “Only Human.”

Meanwhile, Naughty Boy previously produced and co-wrote “Craziest Things” alongside American songwriter Andrea Martin. The will.i.am-featuring track appears on Cheryl’s 2012 album “A Million Lights.”

Cheryl’s upcoming fifth studio collection, on the other hand, is scheduled to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional contributions from Wayne Wilkins (Beyonce, Keri Hilson), Steph Jones (Jason Mraz, Sabrina Carpenter), Kevin Anyaeji (Leona Lewis, Cody Simpson), Heidi Rojas (Kaya Stewart, Little Mix) and Gina Kushka (Ella Eyre, Kylie Minogue).

Kara Marni drafts Laura Dockrill, Ollie Green for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Kara Marni has drafted Laura Dockrill and Ollie Green for a new collaboration.

Dockrill’s songwriting resume boasts works with Anne-Marie (“Karate”), MNEK (“More than a Miracle”), Elli Ingram (“Table for Two”), Javeon (“Give Up”), Dornik (“Drive”), Jessie Ware (“Small Talk”) and Courage (“Wild at Heart”).

Meanwhile, Green is known for co-penning and/or producing cuts performed by Frances (“Love Me Again”), Alex Newell (“Devilish”), Freya Ridings (“Maps”), Jones (“Indulge”), Leo Kalyan (“Daydream”), Alan Walker (“Tired”), John Gibbons (“Sunglasses in the Rain”) and Gavin James (“Hearts on Fire”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Marni’s upcoming project – featuring the Sebastian Kole-penned / Invisible Men-produced lead single “Golden” – is expected to arrive early next year via Access Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers further songwriting contributions from Amy Wadge, Lauren Aquilina, Fabienne, Trey Campbell, Autumn Rowe, Grace Tither, Mullally, Steph Jones, Andrea Martin, Rachel Furner, Eyelar, Kingsley Brown, Maegan Cottone, Grace Barker, and Frances.

In addition to The Invisible Men, Marni has also worked with producers including Mac & Phil, Chris Loco, Lostboy, Maths Time Joy, Pantha, Fred Cox, Laconic, Joel Compass, Aston Rudi, and MNEK.

Bea Miller debuts music video for new single “Buy Me Diamonds”

American singer/songwriter Bea Miller has debuted the music video for her new promotional single online.

The visual clip for “Buy Me Diamonds” was posted the Hollywood recording artist’s Vevo channel on Friday (July 07, 2017).

Miller co-wrote the track alongside Stephenie Jones, whose other credits include Who is Fancy’s “Goodbye,” James Blunt’s “Bartender,” Sabrina Carpenter’s “Don’t Want it Back,” Olivia Holt’s “Thin Air,” and Chris Lane’s “Circles.”

Production duties on “Buy Me Diamonds” were handled by Ido Zmishlany, who is also responsible for Shawn Mendes’ “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” The Chainsmokers’ “Last Day Alive,” Grace Vanderwaal’s “Moonlight,” The All American Rejects’ “Sweat,” and Audien & 3LAU’s “Hot Water.”

Miller’s latest mini-collection “Chapter Two: Red” – featuring additional productions and songwriting contributions from Jarrad Rogers, Trey Campbell, Warren “Oak” Felder, Trevor Brown, and Dreamlab (Leah Haywood & Daniel James) – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.
