Toni Braxton premieres music video for “Long As I Live”

Toni Braxton has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The visual clip for “Long As I Live” was posted to the American singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on Friday (March 23, 2018).

The track was co-written and produced by Antonio Dixton, who previously teamed up with Braxton on the Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds-assisted “I Hate You,” “Roller Coaster,” “Sweat,” “Hurt You,” “Take it Back,” and “Reunited,” taken from the albums “Libra” [2005] and “Love, Marriage & Divorce” [2014].

Braxton’s eighth album “Sex & Cigarettes” – featuring previous promotional singles “Deadwood” and “Coping” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2010’s “Pulse” delivers additional alliances with Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Dapo Torimiro, Fred Ball, James Newman, Stuart Crichton, Patrick “J. Que” Smith, Christopher “Tricky” Stewart, Pierre Medor, and Khristopher Riddick-Tynes of The Rascals.

Toni Braxton releases new album “Sex & Cigarettes”

American singer, songwriter, pianist, actress, and television personality Toni Braxton has released her eighth studio collection online.

“Sex & Cigarettes” – featuring promotional singles “Deadwood,” “Coping” and “Long As I Live” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The highly-anticipated project reunites Braxton with regular collaborators Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and Daryl Simmons, who are responsible for “Another Love Song,” “Breathe Again,” “Seven Whole Days,” “Love Shoulda Brought You Home,” and “You Mean the World to Me.”

Other album contributors include Antonio Dixon, Christopher “Tricky” Stewart, Dapo Torimiro, Fred Ball, James Newman, Kwame Ogoo, Stuart Crichton, Patrick “J. Que” Smith, Kameron Glasper, Pierre Medor, Jeremiah Bethea, Dave Gibson, Royce Doherty, and Khristopher Riddick-Tynes of The Rascals.

American singer, songwriter, and actress Toni Braxton has released the title track from her upcoming eighth studio collection.

“Sex & Cigarettes” – which was produced by Antonio Dixon and co-written with Patrick “J. Que” Smith and Khristopher Riddick-Tynes of The Rascals – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

As mentioned in earlier posts, the follow-up to 2014’s “Love, Marriage & Divorce” – featuring previous singles “Deadwood,” “Coping” and “Long As I Live” – is scheduled to arrive on March 23 via Def Jam Recordings.

The highly-anticipated album boasts further productions and songwriting contributions from Dapo Torimiro (Justin Bieber), Fred Ball (Rihanna), James Newman (Calvin Harris) and Stuart Crichton (Kesha).

Current promotional single “Long As I Live” – which was co-written and produced by Antonio Dixon – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

In addition to Colbie Caillat and En Vogue, who duet with Braxton on “My Heart” and “Tear Me Up, Knock You Down”, the follow-up to 2014’s “Love, Marriage & Divorce” yields further productions/songwriting contributions from Fred Ball, James Newman, Stuart Crichton, and Dapo Torimiro.

Chelcee Grimes hits the studio with Lindy Robbins, Future Cut

British singer/songwriter Chelcee Grimes has teamed up with Lindy Robbins and Future Cut for a new collaboration.

Recent songwriting credits by Robbins include DJ Snake’s “A Different Way,” Sam Fisher’s “This City,” Jennifer Hudson’s “Burden Down,” Dua Lipa’s “No Goodbyes,” Paloma Faith’s “Crybaby,” and Rachel Platten’s “Collide.”

Composed of Darren Lewis and Tunde Babalola, Future Cut’s production resume boasts works with Maxine Ashley (“Happy”), Lilly Ahlberg (“Bad Boys”), Whinnie Williams (“What About Me”), Matt Terry (“Heartless”), Bakar (“Small Town Girl”), Alex Adair (“Casual”) and Matt Wills (“Marry You”).

Grimes, on the other hand, is scheduled to release her upcoming debut project later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Label Group UK.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers further contributions from RedOne, Negin Djafari, Knightstarr, Phil Cook, Jonas Blue, Sam Romans, Fiona Bevan, Wayne Wilkins, Shelly Peiken, Ed Drewett, Richard “Biff” Stannard, Ash Howes, Kara DioGuardi, Jamie Hartman, Stuart Crichton, and Cutfather.
