Camila Cabello unleashes debut solo single “Crying in the Club”

Cuban-born American singer/songwriter Camila Cabello has unleashed her debut solo single online.

“Crying in the Club” – which samples Christina Aguilera’s “Genie in a Bottle” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by fellow recording artist Sia, whose other credits include Katy Perry’s “Chained to the Rhythm,” Blondie’s “Best Day Ever,” Kygo’s “Oasis,” Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Boy Problems,” Kelly Clarkson’s “Invincible,” and Katharine McPhee’s “Round Your Little Finger.”

Production duties on “Crying in the Club,” on the other hand, were collectively handled by Benny Blanco (Rihanna, Ed Sheeran), Cashmere Cat (Miguel, Bebe Rexha), Happy Perez (Halsey, Frank Ocean) and Matthew Beckley (Britney Spears, Machine Gun Kelly).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Cabello is scheduled to release her debut album “The Hurting, the Healing, the Loving” later this year via Simon Cowell’s label Syco Music in partnership with Epic Records.

Ella Henderson has collaborated with Danny Parker for her second album.

The American songwriter is known for co-penning Louisa Johnson’s “Best Behaviour,” Shawn Mendes’ “Stitches,” Britney Spears’ “Liar,” James Blunt’s “Heart to Heart,” Birdy’s “Save Yourself,” and Nick Jonas’ “Chains.”

The British record producer and songwriter, born Peter Rycroft, previously worked with the likes of KLOE (“Liability”), Sarah Close (“Call Me Out”), Gavin James (“Bitter Pill”), PJRR (“Moth”) and Chloe Howl (“Phantom”).
