Zhavia Ward releases new promotional single “100 Ways”

Zhavia Ward has released her new single online.

“100 Ways” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Ward alongside Alexandra “Shungudzo” Govere (Alina Baraz, Ella Henderson), Paul “Phamous” Shelton (Nick Jonas, Liza Owen), Warren “Oak” Felder (Dinah Jane, Alessia Cara), Trevor Brown (Kehlani, Fleur East) and William Simmons (Demi Lovato, Bea Miller).

Ward’s upcoming debut project under Columbia Records reportedly delivers further songwriting contributions from Eyelar, Wayne Hector, Priscilla Renea, Ben Abraham, Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, Sam Romans, and Amy Allen.

On the production front, Ward has worked with Benny Cassette, M-Phazes, Alex Hope, Symbolyc One, Malay, Doc McKinney, Illangelo, Rob Knox, Stint, Tushar Apte, Snakehips, and Darhyl “DJ” Camper.

Little Mix unwrap tracklisting for new album “LM5”

British girl group Little Mix have unwrapped the tracklisting for their upcoming fifth studio collection, “LM5,” which is scheduled to arrive on November 16 via Syco Music (UK) and Columbia Records (US).

The Nicki Minaj-featuring lead single “Woman Like Me” – now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets – was co-written by Jess Glynne alongside Ed Sheeran and Steve Mac.

On the follow-up to 2016’s “Glory Days,” Little Mix have also worked with songwriters and producers including Timbaland, Rachel Furner, MNEK, Jenna Andrews, Tre Jean-Marie, Kamille, Loose Change, Shungudzo, Jez Ashurst, Plested, Boy Matthews, Symbolyc One, Goldfingers, and Chris Loco.

Zhavia Ward enlists Shungudzo for new collaboration

Zhavia Ward has enlisted Shungudzo for a new collaboration.

The Zimbabwean/French/Native-American singer-songwriter (also known as Alexandra Govere) recently co-wrote and provided guest vocals on Rudimental’s “Toast to Our Differences,” out now via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Shungudzo’s songwriting resume boasts additional works with Little Mix (“Touch”), Alina Baraz (“I Don’t Even Know Why Though”), Victoria Monet (“Wish I Never Met You”), Louisa Johnson (“Best Behaviour”), Jessie Ware (“Your Domino”) and The Chainsmokers (“It Won’t Kill Ya”).

Meanwhile, Ward’s upcoming debut album is expected to arrive later this year via Sony Music Entertianment / Columbia Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly yields further contributions from Warren “Oak” Felder, Trevor Brown, Zaire Kaolo, Paul E. Phamous, Benny Cassette, Jenna Andrews, Wayne Hector, Priscilla Renea, Ben Abraham, Jin Jin, M-Phazes, Alex Hope, Symbolyc One, and Malay.

Zhavia Ward has signed a new deal with Columbia Records.

The Sony Music imprint also houses artists including Beyonce, Calvin Harris, Diplo, Harry Styles, John Mayer, Haim, Leon Bridges, George Ezra, Adele, John Legend, Celine Dion, Lecrae, Noah Cyrus, and Lennon Stella.

For her upcoming debut project, Ward has worked with songwriters Priscilla Renea (Rihanna, Charlie Puth), Ben Abraham (Kesha, Ray BLK), Jin Jin (Ebba Smith, Jess Glynne) and Paul E. Phamous (Lykke Li, Nick Jonas).

On the production front, “The Four” star has teamed up with Benny Cassette (Diana Gordon, Keri Hilson), Warren Felder (Liam Payne, Demi Lovato), Alex Hope (Troye Sivan, Kacy Hill), M-Phazes (Kehlani, Zara Larsson) and Symbolyc One (Madonna, Kanye West) and Trevor Brown (Alina Baraz, Maty Noyes).

Skylar Grey announces details for new album “Natural Causes”

Skylar Grey has announced the details for her upcoming album.

The singer-songwriter – real name Holly Hafermann – christened her next studio collection “Natural Causes” and will release it on September 23 via KIDinaKORNER / Interscope Records.

Among the musicians backing Grey on “Natural Causes” are Alex Da Kid (Rihanna), Mark Batson (Alicia Keys), Jayson DeZuzio (Raleigh Ritchie), Symbolyc One (Madonna), and Mike Elizondo (Natasha Bedingfield).

Grey’s previous studio collection, 2013’s “Don’t Look Down,” peaked to number eight on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Final Warning” and “Wear Me Out.”

She also collaborated with hitmakers Stephan Moccio and Jason Evigan on the tracks “I Know You” and “Wreak Havoc,” taken from the original motion picture soundtracks “50 Shades of Grey” and “Suicide Squad,” respectively.

On the songwriting front, Grey co-wrote “Gangsta” for Atlantic recording artist Kehlani along with Jeremy “JMike” Coleman, Andrew “Djemba Djemba” Swanson, Jacob Luttrell, and Jason Evigan.

Tamar Braxton has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “If I Don’t Have You” to her Vevo channel on Thursday (July 09, 2015).

“If I Don’t Have You” was co-written by Makeba Riddick (Beyonce, Christina Milian) and LaShawn “Big Shiz” Daniels (Brandy, Jennifer Lopez) and produced by Marcos Palacios and Ernest Clark of Da Internz (Usher, Sevyn Streeter).

Braxton’s next studio collection “Calling All the Lovers” – featuring previous single “Let Me Know” – is scheduled for release later this year through Streamline Records and Epic Records.

The highly-anticipated CD boasts additional alliances with Harvey Mason Jr. (Ciara, Justin Timberlake), Tiffany Fred (Zendaya, Keri Hilson), Symbolyc One (Madonna, Kanye West) and Harmony Samuels (Ne-Yo, Kelly Rowland).

Tamar Braxton has unveiled the lyric video for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the lyrical clip for “If I Don’t Have You” to her Vevo channel on Thursday (June 11, 2015).

“If I Don’t Have You” was co-written by Makeba Riddick along with LaShawn “Big Shiz” Daniels, whose other credits include Toni Braxton’s “He Wasn’t Man Enough” [LaFace] and Jennifer Lopez’s “If You Had My Love” [Columbia].

Production duties were handled by Da Internz, who are also responsible for Trey Songz’s “Don’t Play” [Atlantic Records], Jazmine Sullivan’s “Stanley” [RCA Records] and Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” [Republic Records].

Braxton’s next studio collection “Calling All Lovers” – featuring previous promotional cut “Let Me Know” f/ Future – will hit stores and digital outlets on July 31 through Streamline Records and Epic Records.

The follow-up to 2013’s “Love and War” boasts additional alliances with Harmony Samuels (Ne-Yo, Chris Brown), Tiffany Fred (Estelle, Keri Hilson) and Symbolyc One (Madonna, Kanye West).
