Tamar Braxton releases new single “If I Don’t Have You”

Tamar Braxton has released her new single online.

“If I Don’t Have You” is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Streamline Records and Epic Records.

The track was co-written by LaShawn “Big Shiz” Daniels along with Makeba Riddick, whose other credits include Lion Babe’s “Jump Hi” [Interscope], Rihanna’s “Rude Boy” [Def Jam] and Beyonce’s “Suga Mama” [Columbia].

Production duties were handled by Marcos Palacios and Ernest Clark, who are also responsible for Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” [Republic], Trey Songz’ “Change Your Mind” [Atlantic] and John Legend’s “Made to Love” [Columbia].

Braxton’s upcoming fourth album “Calling All Lovers” – featuring previous promotional cut “Let Me Know” – will hit stores and digital outlets on July 31.

The keenly-awaited project boasts further alliances with Harmony Samuels (Ciara, Kelly Rowland), Tiffany Fred (Zendaya, Jennifer Hudson), Symbolyc One (Madonna, Kanye West) and Al Sherrod Lambert (Fantasia, Ariana Grande).

Tamar Braxton has chosen her new single.

The singer and songwriter christened “If I Don’t Have You” as the second promotional cut from her upcoming fourth album.

Production duties on “If I Don’t Have You” were handled by Marcos “Kosine” Palacios and Ernest “Tuo” Clark of Da Internz, who previously teamed with Tamar on the Priscilla Renea and Ericka Coulter-assisted “Tip Toe.”

The R&B and Hip-Hop production duo are also responsible for Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” [Republic Records], Jazmine Sullivan’s “Stanley” [RCA Records] and Rihanna’s “Birthday Cake” [Def Jam Recordings].

Meanwhile, Tamar’s next studio collection is expected to be released later this year under Streamline Records and Epic Records.

Lead single “Let Me Know” – which features rapper Future – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

Meanwhile, fans of Da Internz production work should peep the next projects by Christina Aguilera [RCA], Mila J [Motown], Sevyn Streeter [Atlantic], Tamia [Def Jam], Elle Varner [MBK] and Bridget Kelly [TBA].

Ciara unleases new single “I Bet”

Ciara has unleashed her new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “I Bet” to her official Vevo page on Tuesday (January 13, 2015).

“I Bet” was co-written by siblings Theron and Royce Thomas of Rock City, who previously teamed with the artist on “I’m Out” and “Keep On Looking.”

The duo are also co-responsible for Becky G’s “Shower” [Kemosabe Records], Keyshia Cole “New Nu” [Interscope Records], Rihanna’s “Man Down” [Def Jam Recordings] and Usher’s “I Don’t Mind” [RCA Records].

Production duties on “I Bet” were handled by Harmony “H-Money” Samuels, whose other credits include Tamar Braxton’s “Let Me Know” [Epic Records] and Jasmine V’s “That’s Me Right There” [Interscope Records].

He also confirmed placements on the next projects by Melissa Steel [Atlantic Records], Gabi Wilson [RCA Records], Pia Mia [Interscope Records], LeToya Luckett [Entertainment One Music Group] and Jojo [Atlantic Records].

Ciara’s upcoming sixth studio collection, “Jackie,” is due later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

The keenly-awaited project follows 2013’s “Ciara,” which peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned hit single “Body Party.”

Other musicians backing the “Body Party” star on the new album are Dr. Luke, Henry “Cirkut” Walter, Jamal “Polow Da Don” Jones, Mike Will Made It, Kenneth “Soundz” Coby and Diane Warren.

Christopher “Tricky” Stewart has hinted at a new collaboration with Ciara.

“We go back. @Ciara this is a old one,” he posted via his official Instagram account on Saturday (January 10, 2015).

Stewart co-wrote and produced two songs on Ciara’s third album “Fantasy Ride” in the shape of “Keep Dancin’ on Me” and “Like a Surgeon.” He also served as executive producer for her fourth studio collection, “Basic Instinct.”

His extensive resume includes additional works for Rihanna (“Umbrella”), Beyonce (“1+1”), Mariah Carey (“Obsessed”), Nicole Scherzinger (“Your Love”), Celine Dion (“Skies of L.A.”) and Tamar Braxton (“Stay and Fight”).

Meanwhile, Ciara is confirmed to release her sixth album later this year via iTunes in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

The still-untitled project follows 2013’s “Ciara,” which peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned hit single “Body Party.”

For the highly-anticipated new project, the “Overdose” star has reportedly teamed with Dr. Luke, Rock City, Henry “Cirkut” Walter, Polow Da Don, Mike Will Made It, Kenneth “Soundz” Coby, Diane Warren and Harmony Samuels.

Singer/songwriter Tamar Braxton is plotting to release her upcoming fourth studio album in April via Streamline Records and Epic Records.

The still-untitled LP serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Winters Wonderland,” which peaked at number 11 on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart.

Current single “Let Me Know” – which features Future – is now available for download via iTunes (US) and all other digital outlets.

On the songwriting and production front, the new album reportedly boasts contributions from Harmony Samuels, Ericka J. Coulter, Al Sherrod Lambert, Makeba Riddick, Symbolyc One, Tiffany Fred, and LaShawn Daniels.

Little Mix have worked with Babyface for their upcoming third album.

The R&B musician, singer–songwriter and record producer has written and produced over 26 No. 1 R&B hits throughout his career.

Some of his recent songwriting and production credits include Colbie Caillat’s “Try” [Republic Records], Tamar Braxton’s “Where It Hurts” [Epic Records] and Ella Henderson’s “The First Time” [Syco Music].

He also helmed songs for artists including Mariah Carey [Def Jam Recordings], Celine Dion [Columbia Records], Ariana Grande [Republic Records], Keri Hilson [Interscope Records] and Sevyn Streeter [Atlantic Records].

Meanwhile, Little Mix are confirmed to release their second studio collection later this year via Syco Music (UK) and Columbia Records (UK).

The still-untitled project serves as follow-up to 2013’s “Salute,” which peaked at number six on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

In addition to Babyface, Little Mix also collaborated with TMS, Iain James, Future Cut, Jess Glynne, MNEK, Becky Hill, Tom Aspaul, Camille Purcell, Maegan Cottone, Jin Jin, Chelcee Grimes, and The Monsters & the Strangerz.

Sevyn Streeter drafts Chris Brown for new single “Don’t Kill the Fun”

Sevyn Streeter has confirmed the title for her new single.

The R&B songbird christened “Don’t Kill the Fun” as the first promotional cut from her debut album, which will be released next year via Atlantic Records.

“Don’t Kill the Fun” features guest vocals from Chris Brown, who previously teamed with Streeter on several singles including “Fine China,” “Yeah 3x,” “Next to You,” “Wet the Bed” and “It Won’t Stop.”

Other musicians backing Streeter on the highly-anticipated LP are Mansur Zafr (Ashanti, Keri Hilson), Tiffany Fred (Zendaya, Jennifer Hudson), Da Internz (Ciara, Nicki Minaj) and Eric Bellinger (Usher, Teyana Taylor).

On the songwriting front, Streeter recently co-wrote “Keep Us Together” for Jessie J along with Cory Rooney and Louis Biancaniello. The track appears on the British artist’s third album, “Sweet Talker,” out now via iTunes.

Her other credits include Ariana Grande (“The Way”), Kelly Rowland (“Put Your Name On It”), Alicia Keys (“New Day”), Trey Songz (“International Serious”), Brandy (“Slower”), Fantasia (“Get it Right”) and Tamar Braxton (“Pieces”).

“Let Me Know” was written by Ericka J. Coulter along with Al Sherrod Lambert and Harmony Samuels, who are also responsible for Ariana Grande’s “The Way” [Republic] and Jasmine V’s “That Me Right There” [Interscope].

The track – which samples Aaliyah’s hit single “At Your Best (You Are Love)” – is lifted from Tamar Braxton’s upcoming as-yet-untitled fourth studio album.
