Tanika premieres music video for new single “No Man is An Island”

Tanika has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The visual clip for “No Man is An Island” was posted to Link Up TV’s YouTube channel on Friday (July 20, 2018).

The track was produced by Richard “P2J” Isong, whose other credits include June Diary’s “Take Me,” Lily Allen’s “Higher,” Mullally’s “Sweet Coffee,” Tiwa Savage’s “Get it Now,” and Chris Brown’s “Covered in You.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Tanika’s upcoming debut album, tentatively entitled “Birthdays in Jamaica,” featuring previous singles “Come Through” and “Kingston 13,” is expected to arrive later this year.

She’s also set to appear on the movie “The Intent 2,” for which she recorded new music as well. Her song “Up Hill Battle,” which was co-written and produced by Youthonix, appears on the original motion picture soundtrack “The Intent.”

Tanika also co-wrote “Without You” for fellow recording artist Alexandra Burke alongside regular collaborators Moses Samuels and Michael Akinkuni of songwriting/production duo Sons of Sonix.

Tanika teases new single “No Man is An Island”

Tanika has teased her new single online.

“Itching to drop new some new music! #nomanisanisland,” the British artist posted to Instagram on Wednesday (March 28, 2018).

The track is slotted for inclusion on the singer/songwriter’s upcoming project, formerly titled “Birthdays in Jamaica,” which will arrive later this year.

Tanika’s current single “Come Through” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

On the songwriting front, Tanika recently co-penned “Without You” for Alexandra Burke alongside Moses Samuels and Michael Akinkunmi of production duo Sons of Sonix. The Gordon Mills Jr.-produced track appears on Burke’s latest album, “The Truth Is,” out now via Decca Records.

Alexandra Burke delivers new album “The Truth Is”

British singer/songwriter Alexandra Burke has delivered her new album online.

“The Truth Is” – featuring lead promotional single “Shadow” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2012’a “Heartbreak on Hold” was produced by Gordon Mills Jr., whose credits include “This” with Ed Sheeran on the multi million selling album “+” and Newton Faulkner’s mega hit “Dream Catch Me”.

“Come Through” – which was produced by Moses Samuels and Mikey Akinkunmi of Sons of Sonix – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Tanika’s upcoming project “Birthdays in Jamaica” – featuring previous promotional single “Kingston 13 – is scheduled to arrive early 2018 and will boast further productions and songwriting contributions from Fred Cox, Anju Blaxx, Varren Wade, Tunde “Captain” Brown, and Nia V.

Tanika confirms details for new mini-album “Birthdays in Jamaica”

Tanika has confirmed the details for her upcoming EP.

The British singer/songwriter has christened her third mini-album “Birthdays in Jamaica” and will release it on August 18 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Out Here” features 6 new songs in the shape of “Watahouse,” “Take Care of You,” “Come Through,” “No Man is an Island,” “Alive,” and current promotional single “Kingston 13.”

For the highly-anticipated collection, Tanika has also teamed up with songwriters and producers including Fred Cox (Janelle Monae), Anju Blaxx (Popcaan), Moses Samuels (Ariana Grande), Varren Wade (Melanie C), Tunde “Captain” Brown (Juliet Hudson) and Nia V (Krept & Konan).

Tanika reunites with Fred Cox for a new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Tanika Bailey, professionally known as Tanika, has reunited with Fred Cox for a new collaboration.

Cox previously produced and co-wrote “Fuck Boy,” taken from Tanika’s mini-album “Out Here,” now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Other notable credits by Cox include Kiah Victoria’s “Treat Me,” Zak Abel’s “Rock Bottom,” Rag’n’Bone Man’s “Grace,” Lion Babe’s “Impossible,” James Morrison’s “Stay Like This,” Joel Compass’ “Back to Me,” Idris Elba’s “Bridges,” Rosie Lowe’s “So Human,” and Billie Marten’s “Bird.”

His extensive resume boasts additional works with fellow producers and songwriters including Jonny Lattimer, Fiona Bevan, Simon Aldred, Amy Wadge, Francis “Eg” White, Rachel “Maiday” Moulden, Uzoechi “MNEK” Emenike, Fabienne Holloway, Martin Brammer, and Jim Duguid.

Naughty Boy teams up with Beyonce, Benjamin Arrow for new single

Naughty Boy has announced the title for his new single.

The British record producer and songwriter christened “Runnin’ (Lose it All)” as the first promotional cut from his upcoming sophomore album.

“Runnin’ (Lose It All)” – featuring vocals from Beyonce and Arrow Benjamin – was co-written by Carla Marie Williams (Alesha Dixon, The Saturdays) and Jonathan “Jonny” Coffer (Leona Lewis, Jess Glynne).

Naughty Boy’s next studio collection – delivering further guest appearances from Emeli Sande and Ella Eyre – is expected to be released later this year through Naughty Records and Virgin EMI Records.

His first album, 2013’s “Hotel Cabana,” peaked to number two on the UK Albums Chart and spawned collaborations with Gabrielle (“Hollywood”), Sam Smith (“La La La”), Ed Sheeran (“Top Floor”) and Wiz Khalifa (“Think About It”).

On the production front, Naughty Boy has contributed to the next projects by Tamera Foster [Syco Music], Nico & Vinz [Warner Bros], Rihanna [Roc Nation], Ava Lily [Virgin EMI], Tanika [Tim & Danny Music] and Cover Drive [TBA].

Tanika hits the studio with Mali Music

Tanika has recorded new music with Mali Music.

It is yet to be known whether the session was intended for a future Mali Music release or Tanika’s upcoming debut album.

Mali Music – real name Kortney Jamaal Pollard – previously produced and co-wrote “Bring Back the Music” and “Say It” for Jennifer Hudson along with regular collaborators Jerry “Wonda” Duplessis and Arden “Keyz” Altino.

His first studio collection “Mali Is…” – featuring hit singles “Ready Aim,” “Beautiful” and “Heavy Love” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Sony Music imprint RCA Records.

Meanwhile, Tanika’s debut album is expected to be released later this year through Tim & Danny Music in partnership with Virgin EMI Records.

The still-untitled CD boasts alliances with Stargate (Beyonce, Katy Perry), Naughty Boy (Rihanna, Ella Eyre), Mojam (Sinead Harnett, Ed Drewett), Di Genius (Ne-Yo, Melissa Steel) and Craze & Hoax (Kwabs, Emeli Sande).

Elle Varner shares new song “Where Your Man Is”

Elle Varner has shared a new song online.

The singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “Where Your Man Is” to her official SoundCloud page on Friday (January 23, 2015).

Production duties on “Where Your Man Is” were handled by Shama “Sak Pase” Joseph, who is also co-responsible for Tank’s “Thanking You” [Atlantic], Kid Ink’s “No Miracles” [RCA] and Jennifer Lopez’s “Emotions” [Capitol].

Varner’s sophomore album “Four Letter World” will hit stores and digital outlets later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The follow-up to 2012’s “Perfectly Imperfect” is executive-produced by Jeff Robinson, who’s also overseeing the next projects by Gabi Wilson [RCA], Justine Skye [Atlantic], Daisha [Epic], Tiara Thomas [Interscope] and Brandy [TBA].

Other hitmakers backing Varner on “Four Letter Word” are Da Internz (Usher, Jazmine Sullivan), Hit-Boy (Rihanna, Sevyn Streeter), Boi-1da (Tinashe, Kelly Rowland) and Darhyl “DJ” Camper (Stacy Barthe, Chris Brown).

On the songwriting front, Varner recently wrote “Personal” for Jessie J along with Jenna Andrews and William Wiik Larsen (Will IDAP). The track appears on the British artist’s latest album “Personal,” out now via Republic Records.

Further songwriting credits by the “Refill” star include Miguel’s “Use Me” [RCA Records] and Tanika’s “Run Away” [Tim & Danny Music / Capitol Records].

Autumn Rowe announces new single “If I Don’t Have You”

Autumn Rowe has announced the title for her new single.

The singer/songwriter christened “If I Don’t Have You” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming debut album.

“If I Don’t Have You” was written by Rowe along with Ibrahim Asmar, whose credits include The Vamps (“Wild Heart”), Cris Cab (“Goodbye”), Train (“Angel in Blue Jeans”) and Che’Nelle (“Happening Again”).

As a songwriter, Rowe has penned cuts for Alexis Jordan (“Good Girl”), The Saturdays (“30 Days”), Cher Lloyd (“Swagger Jagger”), Alexandra Burke (“Fire”), Kylie Minogue (“Sexy Love”) and Little Mix (“Red Planet”).

She also contributed to the next projects by Leona Lewis [Island Records], Sinead Harnett [Virgin EMI Records], Joel Compass [Polydor Records], Karen Harding [Capitol Records] and Tanika [Capitol Records].

Meanwhile, her as-yet-untitled first studio collection is scheduled for release during 2015 via Ultra Records. The electronic dance music record label also represents musicians including Axwell, Benny Benassi, Nervo, and Bondax.
