LeToya Luckett premieres music video for new single “In the Name of Love”

LeToya Luckett has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The American singer, songwriter, and actress posted the visual clip for “In the Name of Love” to her Vevo Channel on Monday (July 31, 2017).

The track was written by Luckett alongside Joaquin Bynum (Jon B, Marques Houston), Taurian “Adonis” Shropshire (Ciara, Keyshia Cole) and Warryn “Baby Dubb” Campbell (Brandy, Kanye West).

Featuring previous promotional singles “B2L” and “Used To,” Luckett’s latest album “Back to Life” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up 2009’s “Lady Love” boasts additional alliances with Andre Harris (Usher), D’Mile (Janet Jackson), Eric Dawkins (Chante Moore), First Born (Keyshia Cole), Alvin Isaacs (Trey Songz), Jackie Boyz (David Guetta), Midian Mathers (Beyonce), Sickpen (Claudette Ortiz) and Jo Blaq (Ariana Grande).

James Blunt premieres music video for new single “Bartender”

James Blunt has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The British singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Bartender” to his YouTube channel on Friday (March 10, 2017).

The track was co-written by Blunt alongside Stephanie “Steph” Jones, whose other credits include Bea Miller’s “Burning Bridges,” Sabrina Carpenter’s “Don’t Want it Back,” Dylan Scott’s “Rules,” and Chris Lane’s “Circles.”

Production duties on “Bartender,” on the other hand, were collectively handled by Daniel “Danny” Parker (Nick Jonas, Britney Spears) and Theodore “Teddy” Geiger (Shawn Mendes, Ricky Reed).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Blunt’s fifth studio collection “The Afterlove” – featuring previous singles “Make Me Better,” “Time of Our Lives” and “Love Me Better” – will arrive on March 24 via Atlantic Records.

Other album producers include Stephan Moccio (Seal), Ryan Tedder (Adele), Steve Robson (Olly Murs), The Underdogs (Justin Timberlake), Steve Mac (Jess Glynne), Johnny McDaid (Harry Styles) and Ed Sheeran (Taylor Swift).

On the songwriting front, Blunt has teamed up with Amy Wadge (Geri Halliwell), Dewain Whitmore (Pia Toscano), Maureen “MoZella” McDonald (Miley Cyrus), Patrick “J. Que” Smith (Mollie King), Emily Warren (Dua Lipa) and Taurian “Adonis” Shropshire (Ciara).

R&B and Hip-Hop record producer Soundz has hinted at a new collaboration between Jasmine Villegas and Jeremih.

The hitmaker – born Kenneth Coby – previously collaborated with artists including Usher [RCA Records], Beyonce [Columbia Records], Rihanna [Island Def Jam Recordings] and Trey Songz [Atlantic Records].

Some of his notable credits include “Out of Town Girl” by Justin Bieber [Island Records], “DUI” by Ciara [Epic Records], “Lazy” by LeToya [Capitol Records] and “Gone (La Dada Di)” by Melanie Fiona [Republic Records].

Singer/songwriter Jasmine Villegas has added Eric Bellinger and Brian Kennedy to the list of contributors for her upcoming debut album.

Bellinger is known for co-writing hit singles “Lemme See” (performed by Usher), “Fine China” (performed by Chris Brown), “Kiss It” (performed by Dev) and “Think Like a Man” (performed by Jennifer Hudson f/ Ne-Yo & Rick Ross).

Meanwhile, Kennedy is responsible for producing Jay Sean’s “Guns ‘n Roses” [Republic Records], Jessica Mauboy’s “Honest” [Sony Music Australia] and Rihanna‘s “Get It Over With” [Island Def Jam Recordings].

The highly-anticipated LP by the “Paint a Smile” star is expected to be released later this year via Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

Among the other musicians confirmed for the still-untitled project are Ester Dean, Harmony “H-Money” Samuels, Sam Hook, Kendrick Dean, Taurian “Adonis” Shropshire, Kevin McCall, Leah Haywood, and Daniel Pringle.

The still-untitled collection is expected to be released later this year via Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

Dean is known for co-writing and producing material for Toni Braxton [Motown Records], Chris Brown [RCA Records], Tyrese [Voltron Records], Mary J. Blige [Geffen Records] and Trey Songz [Atlantic Records].

Some of his notable credits include “Pieces” by Tamar Braxton [Streamline / Epic Records], “I Stay in Love” by Mariah Carey [Island Def Jam Recordings] and “Was It Worth It” by Keyshia Cole [Geffen Records].

For the highly-anticipated LP, Villegas has also enlisted the songwriting and production services of Ester Dean, Kevin McCall, Taurian “Adonis” Shropshire, Sam Hook, and Harmony “H-Money” Samuels.

Tamar Braxton has unleashed the music video for her new single online.

“She Can Have You” – produced by Andrew Lloyd and YoungFyre – marks the first promotional single from the singer/songwriter’s festive collection, “Winter Loversland,” out now via Streamline / Epic Records.

The track was written by Tamar Braxton along with regular collaborators LaShawn “Big Shiz” Daniels (Jennifer Lopez, Whitney Houston) and Tiyon “TC” Mack (RaVaughn, Justin Bieber).

“Winter Loversland” – which serves as the follow-up to “Love and War” – boasts further contributions D’Mile (Rihanna, Wynter Gordon), Taurian Shropshire (Ciara, Keyshia Cole) and Travis Syles (Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber).

Kristal Lyndriette has debuted her new single online.

“Silhouette” marks the first promotional single from the singer/songwriter’s upcoming as-yet-untitled debut album with Voltron Records.

The track was helmed by Kenyon Dixon (Faith Evans, Kelly Rowland), Taurian “Adonis” Shropshire (Chris Brown, Mariah Carey) and Brandon “B.A.M.” Hodge (Kendrick Lamar, Marsha Ambrosius).

You may recall Lyndriette as a former member of R&B quartet RichGirl, along with Amber “Sevyn” Streeter, Audra Simmons and Christina “Brave” Williams.

The group was developed by super producer Rich Harrison, whose credits include “Crazy in Love” by Beyonce [Columbia Records], “Take Your Hand” by Usher [RCA Records] and “Get Right” by Jennifer Lopez [Epic Records].

Among the notable singles released by RichGirl were “24,” “He Ain’t With Me Now (Tho)” and “Swagger Right (featuring Fabolous).”

Meanwhile, Lyndriette released her debut EP “Proclamation” in December, 2011 via Globetrakkers Music Group. That collection yielded cuts including “Addicted,” “Ladies Wanna Party (featuring Gyrlhood)” and “Picture That.”

Al Sherrod Lambert and Harmony “H-Money” Samuels have graced the upcoming as-yet-untitled sophomore album by Elle Varner, out soon via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The songwriting and production duo are known for collaborating with the likes of Fantasia Barrino (“Without Me”), Ariana Grande (“The Way”), Marcus Canty (“Tonight”) and Jennifer Hudson (“Think Like a Man”).

Other notable songwriting credits by Al Sherrod Lambert include “All Said and Done” by Jamie Foxx [RCA Records], “25/8” by Mary J. Blige [Geffen Records], “Kiss Me Hello” by Jessica Mauboy [Sony Music Australia].

Meanwhile, Harmony “H-Money” Samuels has confirmed placements on the next albums by Adrian Marcel [Republic Records], Michelle Williams [eOne Music] and Jasmine Villegas [Interscope Records].

Varner’s first album “Perfectly Imperfect” has debuted at number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart. It also delivered hit singles including “Only Wanna Give it To You (featuring J. Cole),” “Refill,” and “Oh What a Night.”
