Frankie Storm debuts new mixtape “The Calm”

Frankie Storm has debuted her new mixtape online.

The R&B singer/songwriter posted “The Calm” to her official SoundCloud page on Monday (September 29, 2014).

“The Calm (The Mixtape)” serves as the prelude to her first studio collection, “The Storm is Coming.”

Storm previously co-wrote songs for Britney Spears [RCA Records], Ciara [Epic Records], Angel Haze [Island Records] and Kat Dahlia [Epic Records].

Some of her notable songwriting credits include “Don’t Stop the Music” by Rihanna [Def Jam Recordings], “Lightweight” by Demi Lovato [Hollywood Records] and “Can You Hear Me” by Enrique Iglesias [Republic Records].

Frankie Storm announces new mini-album “The Storm is Coming”

Frankie Storm has announced the title of her upcoming debut EP.

The singer/songwriter – born Tawanna Dabney – has christened her new collection “The Storm is Coming” and will release it later this year.

Among the tracks slotted for inclusion on the highly-anticipated mini-album are “The Cure is Love” and “Shooter.”

Frankie’s extensive songwriting resume includes works for Britney Spears [RCA Records], Rihanna [Roc Nation Records], Ciara [Epic Records], Enrique Iglesias [Republic Records] and LeToya Luckett [eOne Music].

Some of her recent credits include “Sing About Me” by Angel Haze [Republic Records], “Mirror” by Kat Dahlia [Vested in Culture / Epic Records] and “Lightweight” by Demi Lovato [Hollywood Records].

Kat Dahlia has revealed new song titles from her upcoming debut album.

The singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “My Garden” later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Vested in Culture / Epic Records.

“I Think I’m in Love Again” and “Walk on Water” are among the tracks slotted for inclusion on the highly-anticipated collection.

New single “Crazy” – which was produced by Glass John – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

“My Garden” boasts songwriting contributions from Meleni “Polly A.” Smith (Alicia Keys, Nicole Scherzinger), Tawanna “Frankie Storm” Dabney (Wynter Gordon, Angel Haze) and Rico Love (Tiara Thomas, Ginette Claudette).

On the production front, the “Gangsta” star teamed up with Salaam Remi (Mack Wilds, Liam Bailey), Naughty Boy (Sam Smith, Ella Eyre), Diplo (Chris Brown, Katy Perry) and Timbaland (Nikki Williams, Priyanka Chopra).

Kat Dahlia has unleashed the music video for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter – born Katriana Huguet – posted the video for “Crazy” to her official Vevo page on Tuesday (February 18, 2014).

The Glass John-produced track is slotted for inclusion on Dahlia’s upcoming debut album, “My Garden,” out soon via Vested in Culture / Epic Records.

The highly-anticipated LP is expected to feature additional productions from Timbaland (Beyonce, Justin Timberlake), Salaam Remi (Mack Wilds, Jazmine Sullivan) and Shahid “Naughty Boy” Khan (Emeli Sande, Cheryl Cole).

On the songwriting front, the “Gangsta” star teamed up with Frankie Storm (Wynter Gordon, Angel Haze), Meleni “Polly A.” Smith (Nicole Scherzinger, Alicia Keys) and Planet VI (Candice Glover, Jay Sean).

Angel Haze, Sia release music video for new single ‘Battle Cry’

Angel Haze has released the music video for her new single online.

“Battle Cry” – which features vocals from Australian artist Sia – is lifted from the rapper’s debut album, “Dirty Gold,” out now via Republic Records.

The track was written by Angel Haze – born Raykeea Wilson – along with Sia Furler and Greg Kurstin, who are also responsible for Rita Ora’s “Radioactive,” Beyonce’s “Standing in the Sun,” and Katy Perry’s “Double Rainbow.”

Video treatment was handled by Brank Borin, whose credits include “Show Me Love (America)” by The Wanted [Island Records], “Somebody to Die For” by Hurts [RCA Records] and “Jet Lag” by Simple Plan [Atlantic Records].

“Dirty Gold” boasts further alliances from James “Malay” Ho (John Legend, Frank Ocean), Wynter Gordon (Kevin McCall, Bridget Kelly), Jake Gosling (Nina Nesbitt, Ed Sheeran) and Frankie Storm (Kat Dahlia, Britney Spears).

Angel Haze has completed shooting the music video for her new single “Battle Cry” with Frank Borin, who previously teamed up with the artist on “No Bueno.”

Other notable videography credits by Borin include “Show Me Love (America)” by The Wanted [Island Records], “Somebody to Die For” by Hurts [Sony Music UK], and “Halfway Gone” by Simple Plan [Geffen Records].

“Battle Cry” serves as the second promotional single from Angel Haze’s debut album, “Dirty Gold,” out now via Universal Music Group / Island Records.

Angel Haze has revealed the credits for her debut album.

The singer/songwriter – born Raykeea Wilson – released “Dirty Gold” on December 30 via Universal Music Group / Island Records.

Lead single “Echelon (My Way)” was produced Markus Dravs, who’s known for collaborating with the likes of Coldplay [Warner Bros. Records], Arcade Fire [Virgin EMI Records] and Mumford & Sons [Island Records].

Other album producers include Greg Kurstin (Beyoncé, Dido Armstrong), Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran, Paloma Faith), Mike Dean (Kanye West, John Legend) and James “Malay” Ho (Frank Ocean, Alicia Keys).

On the songwriting front, Haze has enlisted Sia Furler (Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears), Frankie Storm (Rihanna, Kat Dahlia), Wynter Gordon (Bridget Kelly, Mary J. Blige) and Natalia Kills (Junior Caldera, Far East Movement).
