Normani Kordei drafts Joel Little, Teddy Geiger for new collaboration

American singer/songwriter Normani Kordei has drafted Joel Little and Teddy Geiger for a new collaboration.

Little is known for co-writing and producing singles performed by Shawn Mendes (“Youth”), Daya (“Safe”), Kesha (“This is Me”), Bebe Rexha (“The Way I Are”), Lorde (“Green Light”) and Khaled (“Young, Dumb & Broke”).

Meanwhile, Geiger’s songwriting and production resume boasts works with Christina Aguilera (“Unless it’s With You”), Sean Paul (“Jump On It”), Anne-Marie (“Machine”), Tiesto (“Summer Nights”) and James Blunt (“Bartender”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Normani is currently working on her debut project under Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly yields additional alliances with Nova Wav, Sevn Thomas, Raye, Jahaan Sweet, Victoria Monet, D’Mile, Caroline Ailin, Justin Tranter, KiTo, Boi-1da, Tayla Parx, August Rigo, Starrah, London on Da Track, Nija Charles, Rasool Diaz, Jorgen Odegard, and Stargate.

Liza Owen signs worldwide publishing deal with Reservoir Media Management

Liza Owen has signed a worldwide publishing deal with Reservoir Media Management, which also houses fellow songwriters including Ali Tamposi, Carla Marie Williams, Ina Wroldsen, and Lauren Christy.

The British-Cambodian singer/songwriter recently co-penned “16 Steps” for Martin Jensen and Olivia Holt alongside Tamposi, John “JRY” Ryan, and AFTERHRS (aka Andrew Haas and Ian Franzino).

Owen’s promotional singles “Better with Me,” “Don’t Call Me Baby” and “Fallin” are now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Her resume boasts additional works with songwriters/producers including Goldfingers, Chloe Angelides, Teddy Geiger, Emily Weisband, Jesse Saint John, Tayla Parx, Big Taste, Steph Jones, Julian Bunetta, Shungudzo, Danny Parker, Ilsey Juber, Knighstarr, Sarah Hudson, and Steve Mac.

Christina Aguilera has released her eighth studio collection online.

“Liberation” – featuring promotional singles “Accelerate,” “Fall in Line,” “Twice” and “Like I Do” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2012’s “Lotus” boasts productions from Kanye West, Mike Dean, Che Pope, Hudson Mohawke, Kosine, Noah Goldstein, Charlie Heat, Dumbfounded, Anderson Paak, MNEK, Bryan “Composer” Nelson, Neenyo, Sango, Jon Bellion, Darhyl “DJ” Camper, Tim Anderson, and Ricky Reed.

On the songwriting front, Aguilera has worked with Ilsey Juber, Teddy Geiger, Kirby Lauryen, Erik Hassle, Bibi Bourelly, LunchMoney Lewis, Tayla Parx, Justin Tranter, Whitney Phillips, Audra Mae, and Julia Michaels.

Christina Aguilera has dropped her new promotional single online.

“Like I Do” – which was co-written by Tayla Parx and Whitney Phillips and collectively produced by Dumbfounded and Anderson Paak – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Aguilera’s upcoming eighth album “Liberation” – featuring previous singles “Accelerate,” “Twice” and “Fall in Line” – will arrive on June 15th via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The follow-up to 2012’s “Lotus” delivers additional contributions from Kanye West, Ilsey Juber, MNEK, Julia Michaels, Mike Dean, Kirby Lauryen, Jon Bellion, Audra Mae, Erik Hassle, Teddy Geiger, and Ricky Reed.

Shawn Mendes has released his third album online.

The self-titled collection – featuring singles “In My Blood,” “Lost in Japan,” “Youth,” “Where Were You in the Morning,” and “Nervous” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

On the follow-up to 2016’s “Illuminate,” Mendes has reunited with regular collaborators Teddy Geiger, Scott Harris, and Geoffrey Warburton.

Other musicians backing Mendes on the album are Joel Little, Ryan Tedder, Zach Skelton, Ed Sheeran, Johnny McDaid, Julia Michaels, Ian Kirkpatrick, Nate Mercereau, Amy Allen, Louis Bell, Fred Gibson, and John Mayer.

Leon Bridges delivers sophomore album “Good Thing”

American singer, songwriter and record producer Leon Bridges has delivered his sophomore studio collection under Columbia Records.

“Good Thing” – featuring promotional singles “Bet Ain’t Worth the Hand,” “Bad Bad News” and “Beyond” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The highly-anticipated project was prominently produced by Ricky Reed, whose resume boasts additional works with Meghan Trainor (“No”), Jessie J (“Burning Up”), Halsey (“Alone”), Fifth Harmony (“Bo$$”), Kesha (“Hymn”), Jason Derulo (“Swalla”) and Christina Aguilera (“Unless it’s with You”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Mendes is scheduled to release his third album – featuring previous promotional singles “In My Blood” and “Lost in Japan” – on May 24 via Universal Music Group / Island Records.
