Teyana Taylor premieres “Issues / Hold On” music video

Teyana Taylor has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The visual clip for “Issues / Hold On” – featuring appearances from A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, Tyler The Creator, and models Kristen Crawley and Lori Harvey – was posted to the American singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on Friday (March 15, 2019).

The track was co-written by Denisia “Blu June” Andrews and Brittany “Chi” Coney of Nova Wav, who are also responsible for  Kelly Rowland’s “Kelly,” Monica’s “Commitment,” The Carters’ “LoveHappy,” Kehlani’s “Crzy,” Britney Spears’s “Hard to Forget Ya,” and Tinashe’s “Ooh La La.”

Production duties on “Issues/Hold On” were collectively handled by Kanye West (Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson), Mike Dean (Madonna, The Weeknd), Plain Pat (Dido, Kid Kudi) and Boogz Da Beast (Nas, John Legend).

Taylor’s latest studio collection K.T.S.E. (an initialism of Keep That Same Energy) – featuring previous singles “WTP” and “Gonna Love Me” – is now available via GOOD Music / Def Jam Recordings.

Teyana Taylor teams with Da Internz for new collaboration

Teyana Taylor has teamed up with Da Internz for a new collaboration.

The American production duo – composed of Ernest “Tuo” Clark and Marcos “Kosine” Palacious – have previously worked with Rihanna (“Birthday Cake”), Nicki Minaj (“Anaconda”), Tamar Braxton (“If I Don’t Have You”), Jazmine Sullivan (“Stanley”), Trey Songz (“Don’t Play”), Cassie (“Paradise”), Sevyn Streeter (“Sex on the Ceiling”) and Johh Legend (“Made to Love”).

Da Internz have also worked with songwriters and artists including Terius “The-Dream” Nash, LaShawn “Big Shiz” Daniels, Makeba Riddick, Eric Bellinger, Tiffany Fred, Ryan Toby, Asia Bryant, James “JHart” Abrahart, Marsha Ambrosius,  Prince Charlez, Ester Dean, and Durrell “Tank” Babbs.

Meanwhile, Taylor’s latest album “K.T.S.E” – featuring contributions from Kanye West, Rodney Jerkins, Mike Dean, Ty Dolla Sign, Noah Goldstein, Uforo Ebong, Eric Bellinger, and Nova Wav – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Teyana Taylor has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The self-directed clip for “Gonna Love Me” – featuring Ghostface Killah, Method Man, and Raekwon – was posted to the American singer, songwriter, and actress’ YouTube channel on Friday (December 14, 2018).

The track was co-written by Taylor alongside Denisia “Blu June” Andrews and Brittany “Chi” Coney of Nova Wav, who are also responsible for Beyonce’s “Shining,” Tinashe’s “Ooh La La,” Kehlani’s “Crzy,” Britney Spears’s “Hard to Forget Ya,” and Kelly Clarkson’s “Whole Lotta Woman.”

Production duties on “Gonna Love Me” – taken from Taylor’s latest studio collection “K.T.S.E.” (which is an acronym for Keep That Same Energy) – were collectively handled by Kanye West (Alicia Keys, Janet Jackson), Mike Dean (Madonna, Sky Ferreira) and Noah Goldstein (Drake, Christina Aguilera).

Teyana Taylor liberates sophomore album “K.T.S.E.”

Teyana Taylor has liberated her sophomore album online.

“K.T.S.E.” – which is an acronym for “Keep That Same Energy” – is now available is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2014’s “VII” marks the final of five weekly albums produced by Kanye West in the “Wyoming Sessions,” following Pusha T’s “Daytona,” West’s “Ye” and “Kids See Ghosts” with Kid Kudi, and Nas’ “Nasir.”

On the highly-anticipated project, Taylor has also worked with producers and songwriters including Rodney Jerkins, Eric Bellinger, Mike Dean, Che Pope, Noah Goldstein, Mark Batson, Uforo Ebong, BoogzDaBeast, and Nova Wav.

Teyana Taylor selects release date for sophomore album

Teyana Taylor has selected the release date for her upcoming sophomore album.

The American singer, songwriter, and actress’ second studio collection will arrive on June 22 via GOOD Music in partnership with Def Jam Recordings.

The still-untitled project is executive-produced by Kanye West, who also helmed tracks for Mariah Carey (“Stay the Night”), Janet Jackson (“My Baby”), Keyshia Cole (“I Changed My Mind”), Brandy (“Talk About Our Love”), Monica (“Knock Knock”), Alicia Keys (“You Don’t Know My Name”) and Beyonce (“Party”).

Taylor’s debut studio collection, 2014’s “VII,” debuted at number nineteen on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Maybe,” “Business” and the Chris Brown-featuring “Do Not Disturb.”

That project also delivered contributions from Harmony Samuels (“Put Your Love On”), James Fauntleroy (“Just Different”), Stacy Barthe (“Outta My League”), Eric Bellinger (“Broken Hearted Girl”), Courtney Harrell (“It Could Just Be Love”), Vidal Davis (“Sorry”) and Brian Kennedy (“Dreams”).

Teyana Taylor has shared her new mixtape online.

The singer/songwriter posted the mini-collection entitled “The Cassette Tape” – featuring “Your Wish is My Command,” “Tonight,” “Undercover,” “Touch Me” and “Who’s Gonna Make it Home” – to her official SoundCloud page.

Production duties on “The Cassette Tape” were collectively handled by Kanye West (Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson), Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem (Rihanna, Fifth Harmony) and Da Internz (Jazmine Sullivan, Tamar Braxton).

Taylor’s debut album, 2014’s “VII,” peaked to number one on the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “Maybe,” “Business,” and the Chris Brown-assisted “Do Not Disturb.”

Teyana Taylor has confirmed the details for her new mixtape.

The singer/songwriter christened her upcoming collection “The Cassette Tape” and will release it on Monday (August 10, 2015).

Marcos “Kosine” Palacios and Ernest “Tuo” Clark of Da Internz are among the producers on the highly-anticipated project.

Some of their recent credits include Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” [Cash Money], Tamar Braxton’s “If I Don’t Have You” [Epic], Sevyn Streeter’s “Love in Competition” [Atlantic] and Jazmine Sullivan’s “Stanley” [RCA].

Taylor’s debut album, 2014’s “VII,” debuted at number nineteen on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and delivered singles including “Maybe,” “Broken Hearted Girl,” “Business” and the Chris Brown-assisted “Do Not Disturb.”
