Dua Lipa shares acoustic performance of “Genesis”

Dua Lipa has shared a new song online.

The British singer/songwriter posted an exclusive acoustic performance of “Genesis” to her YouTube channel on Saturday (April 16, 2017).

The track was co-written by Sarah Hudson (Katy Perry, Ella Henderson), Ferras Al-Qaisi (Idina Menzel, Ricky Martin), Clarence Coffee Jr. (Olly Murs, Jake Miller) and Andreas “Axident” Schuller (Justin Bieber, Thomas Rhett).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Dua Lipa’s self-titled album will be released on June 2 via Warner Music Group / Warner Bros. Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further songwriting contributions from Ruth-Anne Cunningham, Kenzie May, Chelcee Grimes, Laura Dockrill, Karen Poole, Emily Warren, Noonie Bao, Lindy Robbins, Camille Purcell, Whitney Phillips, Jin Jin, Ilsey Juber, Amy Wadge, MoZella, Jenna Andrews, Ed Drewett, Iain James, Jacob Attwooll, Andrew Jackson, and JHart.

Dua Lipa’s upcoming single “Lost in Your Light” – featuring guest vocals from fellow recording artist Miguel – will arrive on April 21 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

On the songwriting front, Dua Lipa co-wrote “Used to You” for Annalisa alongside Lucy “Pawws” Taylor and Nicholas “Digital Farm Animals” Gale, as well as “Wake Up Alone” for The Chainsmokers alongside Emily Warren, Scott Harris, and Andrew Taggart.

The Chainsmokers deliver debut album “Memories … Do Not Open”

American DJ duo The Chainsmokers – composed of Andrew Taggart and Alexander Pall – have released their debut album online.

“Memories … Do Not Open” – featuring singles “The One,” “Paris” and “Something Just Like This” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The highly-anticipated project boasts guest appearances from Jhene Aiko (“Wake Up Alone”), Louane (“It Won’t Killa Ya”), Phoebe Ryan (“Bloodstream”), Emily Warren (“My Type”) and Florida Georgia Line (“Last Day Alive”).

Among the producers backing The Chainsmokers on “Memories … Do Not Open” are Jordan “DJ Swivel” Young (Kanye West), Captain Cuts (Bebe Rexha), Ido Zmishlany (Shawn Mendes) and Mac & Phil (Emeli Sande).

Album songwriters include Philip Plested (Ella Henderson), Shungudzo Kuyimba (Jessie Ware), Sean Douglas (Rachel Platten), Scott Harris (Melanie Martinez), Audra Mae (Kelly Clarkson) and Sam Martin (David Guetta).

The Chainsmokers have unwrapped the tracklisting for their debut album.

The American DJ duo – composed of Andrew Taggart and Alexander Pall – will release their first studio collection, “Memories … Do Not Open,” on April 7 via Disruptor Records and Columbia Records.

Current promotional single “Something Just Like This” – featuring Coldplay – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The highly-anticipated project also delivers productions and songwriting contributions from Emily Warren (Ava Lily), Audra Mae (Kelly Clarkson), Brittany Burton (Jessie J), Phoebe Ryan (Betty Who), Dua Lipa (Annalisa), Sean Douglas (Bebe Rexha), Philip Plested (Little Mix), Scott Harris (Shawn Mendes), Captain Cuts (Halsey) and Mac & Phil (Emeli Sande).

Bebe Rexha has announced the release date for her upcoming project.

“All Your Fault: Pt. 1” – featuring current promotional single “I Got You” – will arrive on February 17 via Warner Brothers Records.

In addition to regular collaborators Lauren Christy and Jacob “JKash” Kasher, the highly-anticipated collection reportedly delivers further songwriting contributions from Ross Golan, Sean Douglas, Iain James, Levi Lennox, Ilsey Juber, Talay Riley, Evan “Kidd” Bogart, Simon Wilcox, Brandyn Burnette, MoZella, Clarence Coffee Jr., Sam Martin, and Trey Campbell.

On the production front, Rexha has teamed up with Timbaland, Stargate, Captain Cuts, The Chainsmokers, Invisible Men, MNEK, TMS, Jason Evigan, Fraser T. Smith, Joel Little, Christopher Braide, Jonas Jeberg, Emanuel Kiriakou, Andrew Goldstein, Mitch Allen, Ian Kirkpatrick, Cook Classics, Gladius, DJ Mustard, Busbee, Christoph Andersson, Jon Levine, and Billy Steinberg.

As a songwriter, Rexha recently co-penned Nick Jonas’ “Under You” alongside Savan Kotecha, Rickard Goransson, Ali Payami, and Max Martin.

Her other credits include Martin Garrix’s “In the Name of Love,” Iggy Azalea’s “Team,” G-Eazy’s “Me, Myself, & I,” Bella Thorne’s “One More Night,” Tinashe’s “All Hands on Deck,” David Guetta’s “Hey Mama,” Cash Cash’s “Take Me Home,” Selena Gomez’s “Champion,” and Nikki Williams’ “Glowing.”

The Chainsmokers have premiered a new music video online.

The American DJ duo – consisting of Drew Taggart and Alex Pall – posted the visual clip for “Closer” to their Vevo channel on Monday (October 24, 2016).

“Closer” was written by Taggart, Shaun Frank, Frederic Kennett, and the song’s guest vocalist, Halsey. The track also features songwriting credits from The Fray’s lead singer Isaac Slade and guitarist Joe King

As mentioned in earlier posts, The Chainsmokers’ upcoming mini-collection “Collage” – featuring previous singles “All We Know” and “Don’t Let Me Down” – will arrive on November 4 via Disruptor Records and Columbia Records.

Bebe Rexha confirms new single “I Got You”

Bebe Rexha has confirmed the details for her new single.

The singer-songwriter christened “I Got You” as the next promotional cut from her debut album and will release it on October 28 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

“I Got You” was co-written by Rexha along with regular collaborator, Lauren Christy, who also teamed up with the artist on the Jon Levine-produced “I’m Gonna Show You Crazy” and G-Eazy-assisted “My, Myself and I”.

Production duties on “I Got You” were handled by Captain Cuts, consisting of Ben Berger, Ryan McMahon and Ryan Rabin. The LA-based trio’s resume boasts credits with Walk the Moon (“Shut Up and Dance”), Halsey (“Roman Holiday”) and Sabrina Carpenter (“Two Young Hearts”).

Rexha, on the other hand, is expected to release her first studio collection, tentatively entitled “A.Y.F.” – featuring previous singles “In the Name of Love” and “No Broken Hearts” – in 2017 via Warner Brothers Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further contributions from Jason Evigan, Sean Douglas, Fraser T. Smith, MNEK, Timbaland, Stargate, Billy Steinberg, Christopher Braide, Levi Lennox, and The Chainsmokers.

The Chainsmokers confirm new mini-collection “Collage”

The Chainsmokers have confirmed the details for their upcoming EP.

The American DJ duo – consisting of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall – christened their next mini-collection “Collage” and will release it on November 4 via Disruptor Records in partnership with Columbia Records.

In addition to previously-released singles “All We Know” (featuring Phoebe Ryan), “Closer (featuring Halsey)” and “Don’t Let Me Down” (featuring Daya), “Collage” also features one new song in the shape of “Setting Fires.” The XYLO-featuring track was co-written by Jon Asher and Melanie Fontana.
