Zendaya hits the studio with Talay Riley, Timbaland, Jim Beanz

Singer and actress Zendaya has recently recorded new material with Timothy “Timbaland” Mosley, James “Jim Beanz” Washington and Talay Riley.

“Latest nights were my greatest nights @timbaland @talayriley @beanzbeanzbeanz,” she posted to her Instagram account.

Riley is known for co-writing Wilkinson’s “Afterglow” f/ Becky Hill [Virgin EMI Records], Nathan Sykes’ “More Than You’ll Ever Know” [Global Entertainment] and Ellie Goulding’s “In My City” [Polydor Records].

He also confirmed placements on the next projects by Usher [RCA Records], Keri Hilson [Interscope Records], Tamera Foster [Syco Music] and Jason Derulo [Beluga Heights / Warner Bros. Records].

Meanwhile, Timbaland and Beanz have served as prominent producers and songwriters for the original motion picture soundtrack, “Empire,” which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Their other credits include Nelly Furtado’s “Maneater” [Geffen Records], Danity Kane’s “Want It” [Atlantic Records], Jennifer Hudson’s “Pocketbook” [J Records] and Demi Lovato’s “All Night Long” f/ Missy Elliot [Hollywood Records].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Zendaya is scheduled to release her sophomore album later this year under Hollywood Records. The still-untitled LP follows 2013’s “Zendaya,” which spawned international hit single “Replay.”

Other producers on the highly-anticipated CD are Babyface (Jess Glynne, Sevyn Streeter), Antonio Dixon (Justin Bieber, Colbie Caillat), Khris Riddick-Tynes (Ariana Grande, Delta Goodrem) and RoccStar (Fergie, Chris Brown).

On the songwriting front, Zendaya has teamed with Tiffany Fred (Tamar Braxton, Pixie Lott), Patrick “J. Que” Smith (Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez), Taylor Parks (Elle Varner, Tori Kelly), Eric Bellinger (Brandy, Teyana Taylor) and Paul “Phamous” Shelton (Nick Jonas, Natasha Bedingfield).

Timbaland hints at new collaboration with Zendaya

Timbaland has hinted at a new collaboration with Zendaya.

“@Zendaya !!! Welcome to Team Timbo !!! Get ready !!!” he posted to his official Instagram account on Friday (March 06, 2015).

Timbaland is known for his work with Aaliyah (“Try Again”), Missy Elliot (“Work It”), Justin Timberlake (“Take Back the Night”), Nelly Furtado (“Say it Right”), Beyonce (“Drunk in Love”) and Jennifer Hudson (“Walk it Out”).

The legendary record producer – born Timothy Mosley – also worked with the likes of V. Bozeman [Epic Records], Demi Lovato [Hollywood Records], Priyanka Chopra [Interscope Records] and Rihanna [SRP Records].

Meanwhile, Zendaya’s next studio collection is scheduled to hit stores and digital outlets later this year via Hollywood Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly features collaborations with Babyface (Alicia Keys, Colbie Caillat), Antonio Dixon (Omarion, Craig David) and Khristopher Riddick-Tynes (Ariana Grande, Keri Hilson).

Jess Glynne unveils new single “Hold My Hand”

Jess Glynne has unveiled her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “Hold My Hand” to her official SoundCloud page on Thursday (January 22, 2015).

“Hold My Hand” was co-written by Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, whose resume includes works for Melissa Steel [Atlantic Records], Tamera Foster [Syco Music], Moko [Virgin EMI Records] and Little Mix [Columbia Records].

The track follows previous promotional cut, “Right Here,” which peaked to number six on the UK Singles Chart.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Glynne’s upcoming debut album is scheduled for release later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled LP features further songwriting contributions from Andrea Martin (Jordin Sparks, Leona Lewis), Emeli Sande (Rihanna, Katy Perry), Babyface (Fantasia, Sevyn Streeter) and Jonny Coffer (Sam Smith, Gorgon City).

On the production front, Glynne has enlisted Fraser T. Smith (Bebe Rexha, Tori Kelly), Steve Mac (Lily Allen, Ella Henderson), Naughty Boy (Ed Sheeran, Wiz Khalifa) and The Rascals (Toni Braxton, Ariana Grande).

Deborah Cox announces new single “Kinda Miss You”

Deborah Cox has announced the details for her new single.

The Canadian singer/songwriter christened “Kinda Miss You” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming studio album.

“Kinda Miss You” was co-written by Epic recording artist Jessica Ashley, whose also co-responsible for Madison Beer’s hit single “Unbreakable.”

Production duties were handled by Khristopher Riddick-Tynes and Leon Thomas of The Rascals, who also worked with Ariana Grande (“Honeymoon Avenue”) and Jessica Mauboy (“Can I Get a Moment?”).

“Kinda Miss You” will be available for download from February 3 via Deco Recording Group / Primary Wave Music / BMG Rights Management.

Cox’s last album, 2008’s “The Promise,” peaked to number nine on the Canadian R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and spawned hit single “Beautiful U R.”

Jessica Mauboy has unveiled the music video for her new single online.

The Australian singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Can I Get a Moment?” to her official Vevo Page on Tuesday (October 28, 2014).

“Can I Get a Moment?” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Antonio “Tony” Dixon and Carmen Reece along with Leon Thomas and Khristopher Riddick-Tynes of The Rascals.

The track is lifted from the artist’s upcoming album, “Beautiful: Platinum Edition,” out on November 21 via Sony Music Entertainment Australia.

Babyface, The Rascals grace debut album by Jess Glynne

British singer/songwriter Jess Glynne has drafted Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and The Rascals for her upcoming debut album.

Babyface recently co-wrote and produced the majority of Colbie Caillat’s fifth studio album, “Gypsy Heart,” out now via Republic Records.

He also teamed up with The Rascals on several songs including RaVaughn’s “Best Friend” [Columbia], Ariana Grande’s “Baby I” [Republic] and Jessica Mauboy’s “Can I Get a Moment?” [Sony Music Australia].

Meanwhile, Glynne is currently putting the final touches on her first studio collection under Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The highly-anticipated LP boasts further productions and songwriting contributions from Fraser T. Smith, Janee Bennett, Naughty Boy, Emeli Sande, Jonny Coffer and Mojam (Mustafa Omer and James Murray).

Glynne’s first solo single, the Gorgon City-produced “Right Here,” peaked at number six on the UK Singles Chart.

RaVaughn has debuted her new single online.

“Love U More” is slotted for inclusion on the R&B singer/songwriter’s debut album, “Love Always,” which is expected to be released later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Compound University / Columbia Records.

The track was written by RaVaughn along with Joseph “Lonny” Bereal, James “J-Doe” Smith and Twy Bernal. Production duties were handled by Curtis “Sauce” Wilson and Shomari “Sho” Wilson.

“Love U More” follows previous singles “Better Be Good” (produced by Jerry “Wonda” Duplessis and Arden “Keyz” Altino) and “Best Friend” (co-written by Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds / produced by The Rascals).

Among the other musicians backing RaVaughn on “Love Always” are Ne-Yo (Rihanna, Christina Milian), Miguel (Beyonce, Elle Varner), Marsha Ambrosius (Solange, Alicia Keys) and John Legend (Estelle, Chrisette Michele).

Toni Braxton & Babyface have revealed the credits for their upcoming album.

The pair will release the duets album, “Love, Marriage & Divorce,” on February 4 via Universal Music Group / Motown Records.

Lead single “Hurt You” was written by Toni Braxton and Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds along with Daryl Simmons and Antonio Dixon.

The set also features contributions from Leon Thomas and Khristopher Riddick=-Tynes of The Rascals, who previously teamed up with Babyface on hit singles “Best Friend” by RaVaughn and “Love is Everything” by Ariana Grande.
