Wynter Gordon has recently recorded new material with The Runners.

It is yet to be known whether last night’s session was intended for another artist or Gordon’s upcoming sophomore album.

The Runners consist of songwriters and record producers Andrew “Dru Brett” Harr and Jermaine “Mayne Zayne” Jackson.

Their resume includes works for Keyshia Cole (“Didn’t I Tell You”), Chris Brown (“Biggest Fan”), Cher Lloyd (“Swagger Jagger”), Kelly Rowland (“All of the Night”) and Nicole Scherzinger (“Tomorrow Never Dies”).

Meanwhile, Gordon previously co-wrote songs for other artists such as “Livin’ it Up” by Ciara [Epic Records], “2 of You” by Danity Kane [Bad Boy / Atlantic Records] and “Gonna Breakthrough” by Mary J. Blige [Geffen Records].

Her debut album, 2011’s “With the Music I Die,” peaked at number twenty five on the Australian Albums Chart and spawned hit singles “Dirty Talk,” “Til Death,” “Buy My Love” and “Still Getting Younger.”

John Legend has unwrapped the songwriting credits for his upcoming album.

The singer/songwriter will release “Love in the Future” on September 3 via Sony Music Entertainment / G.O.O.D. Music / Columbia Records.

New single “Made to Love” was written by John Legend along with Justin Baron, Ernest “Tuo” Clark, Andrew Horowitz, Marshall Jefferson, Kimbra Johnson, Nana Kwabena, Lil’ Louis, Marcos “Kosine” Palacios, Dave Tozer, and Kanye West.

Other album songwriters include James Fauntleroy (Brandy, Toni Braxton), Guordan Banks (Keyshia Cole, Marcus Canty), Jessyca Wilson (Fantasia Barrino, Mario Barrett), Kevin Cossom (Luke James, Usher Raymond) and Joe Jonas (Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus).

R&B songstress Sevyn Streeter has drafted the songwriting and production services of Leon “RoccStar” Youngblood for her upcoming as-yet-untitled debut album, out soon via Warner Music Group / CBE / Atlantic Records.

RoccStar is responsible for helming singles “Fine China” by Chris Brown [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records] and “Lay Down Your Weapons” by K. Coke featuring Rita Ora [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].

The singer/songwriter will release “The Other Side” as the first promotional single from his upcoming as-yet-untitled third album, out later this year via Warner Music Group / Beluga Heights / Warner Bros. Records.

The legendary musician recently co-wrote tracks including “That’s When I Knew” by Alicia Keys [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records] and “Best Thing I Never Had” by Beyonce [Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records].

Meanwhile, the track that he crafted for Sevyn’s as-yet-untitled project was co-written and produced by Warren Felder and Andrew Wansel. Recent credits by the R&B and hip hop duo – better known as Oak & Pop – include “A Couple of Forevers” by Chrisette Michele and “Not Tonight” by Elle Varner.
