Zendaya confirms new single “Putcha Body Down”

Zendaya has confirmed the title of her new single.

The singer/songwriter christened “Putcha Body Down” as the next promotional single from her self-titled debut album, out now via Hollywood Records.

The follow-up to “Replay” was co-written by CJ Holland along with Marlin “Hookman” Bond, whose credits include Big Time Rush’s “Epic” [Columbia Records] and Chris Rene’s “Chains” [Epic Records].

Production duties were handled by Jonas Jeberg, who is also responsible for Jason Derulo’s “Marry Me” [Warner Bros. Records], Demi Lovato’s “Made in the USA” [Hollywood Records] and Nicki Minaj’s “The Boys” [Republic Records].

Zendaya’s debut CD boasts further productions from The Monsters & The Strangerz (Lea Michele, Bebe Rexha), Harmony Samuels (Ariana Grande, Jasmine Villegas) and The Suspex (Fifth Harmony, Selena Gomez).

Autumn Rowe, Stephan Moccio grace new album by Leona Lewis

British songbird Leona Lewis has enlisted the songwriting services of Autumn Rowe and Stephan Moccio for her upcoming studio album.

The new collection – which serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Christmas, with Love” – is expected to be released later this year via Syco Music.

Stephan Moccio is known for co-writing “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus [RCA Records] and “A New Day Has Come” by Celine Dion [Columbia Records].

Meanwhile, Autumn Rowe has previously collaborated with Lewis on “Your Hallelujah” as well as the Sandy Vee-produced / Avicii-assisted hit single “Collide,” which peaked at number four on the UK Singles Chart.

For the still-untitled LP, the “Trouble” star also teamed up with songwriters and producers Jon Levine (Fefe Dobson, Little Mix) and The Suspex: Mitch Allan & Jason Evigan (Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato).

Nikki Williams releases lyric video for new single ‘Thank God It’s Friday’

Nikki Williams has released the official lyric video for her new single online.

“Thank God It’s Friday” is lifted from the South African singer/songwriter’s upcoming debut album on Island Def Jam Recordings.

The track serves as the follow-up to previous single “Glowing,” which peaked at number three on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs Chart.

For the still-untitled LP, Williams has collaborated with Timbaland (Brandy, Justin Timberlake), Polow Da Don (Mario, Chris Brown), Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins (Ciara, Britney Spears) and Toby Gad (Bridget Kelly, Leona Lewis).

She has also teamed up with Mitch Allan and Jason Evigan of songwriting and production duo The Suspex and co-wrote “Heart Attack” for Demi Lovato.

Demi Lovato has released the lyric video for her new single online.

“Neon Lights” marks the third promotional single from the singer/songwriter’s latest studio album, “Demi,” out now via Hollywood Records.

The track was written by Demi Lovato along with Mario Marchetti, Tiffany Vartanyan, Noel Zancanella, and Ryan “Alias” Tedder of OneRepublic.

Production duties were handled by Tedder and Zancanella, who are also responsible for “Brighter Than the Sun” by Colbie Caillat [Republic Records] and “Glassheart” by Leona Lewis [Syco Music].

“Demi” – featuring previous singles “Heart Attack” and “Made in the USA” – has debuted at number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

The quintet unveiled their rendition of “Honeymoon Avenue” by Ariana Grande to their official YouTube page on Friday (27 September, 2013).

The track was written by Grande along with Khristopher Riddick-Tynes, Leon Thomas III, Antonio “Tony” Dixon, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Thomas “Tommy” Brown, Travis Sayles, Roahn Hylton, Dennis “Aganee” Jenkins, Maurice Wade and Victoria “Monet” McCants.

Fifth Harmony’s upcoming debut album “Better Together” will be released on October 22 via Sony Music Entertainment / Syco Music / Entertainment. The project includes lead singles “Miss Movin’ On” and “Me & My Girls.”
