Halsey liberates new single “Eyes Closed”

American singer/songwriter Ashley Frangipane, professionally known as Halsey, has released her new promotional single online.

“Eyes Closed” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Halsey alongside Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye, whose other credits include Beyonce’s “6 Inch,” Rihanna’s “Woo,” Lana Del Rey’s “Lust for Life,” Ariana Grande’s “Love Me Harder,” and Drake’s “Crew Love.”

Production duties on “Eyes Closed” were handled by Benjamin “Benny Blanco” Levin (Ciara, Ed Sheeran), Magnus “Cashmere Cat” Hoiberg (Kacy Hill, Jhene Aiko) and Nathan “Happy” Perez (Miguel, Frank Ocean).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Halsey’s upcoming sophomore studio collection “Hopeless Fountain Kingdom” – featuring previous single “Now or Never” – will arrive on June 2 via Astralwerks / Capitol Records.

The follow-up to 2015’s “Badlands” delivers additional alliances with Christoper Braide (Jessie Reyez), Lido (ASAP Ferg), Sia (Beyonce), Ricky Reed (Jason Derulo), Starrah (Nicki Minaj), Dan Wilson (Adele), Greg Kurstin (Kylie Minogue), Justin Tranter (Betty Who), and AMMO (Jessie J).

American singer/songwriter Halsey – born Ashley Frangipane – has unwrapped the trackliting for her upcoming sophomore album “Hopeless Fountain Kingdom,” out on June 2 via Astralwerks / Capitol Records.

Current single “Now or Never” – which was co-written by Starrah and collectively produced by Benny Blanco, Happy Perez, and Cashmere Cat – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2015’s “Badlands” delivers additional alliances with Lido (Ariana Grande), Christopher Braide (Lana Del Rey), Sia Furler (Labrinth), Ricky Reed (Kesha), Dan Wilson (Noah Cyrus), Greg Kurstin (Beyonce), Justin Tranter (Selena Gomez), Rogét Chahayed (Kendrick Lamar), The Weeknd (Rihanna) and AMMO (Jason Derulo).

Cashmere Cat reveals release date for new album “9”

Cashmere Cat has revealed the release date for his upcoming debut album.

The Norwegian DJ and record producer – born Magnus Hoiberg – will release “9” on April 28 via Mad Love Records and Interscope Records.

Current promotional single “9 (After Coachella)” – featuring Danish singer/songwriter MØ – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Other artists backing Cashmere Cat on “9” are Jhene Aiko (“Please Don’t Go”), Camila Cabello (“Love Invincible”), Selena Gomez (“Trust Nobody”), Ty Dolla $ign (“Infinite Stripes”), Ariana Grande (“Quit”), The Weeknd (“Wild Love”), Kacy Hill (“Europa Pools”) and Kehlani (“Night Night”).

Lana Del Rey unleashes new single “Lust for Life”

Lana Del Rey has unleashed her new single online.

“Lust for Life” – featuring Canadian singer, songwriter and record producer The Weeknd – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Max Martin, born Martin Sandberg, whose recent credits include Katy Perry’s “Chained to the Rhythm,” Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” Ariana Grande’s “Side to Side,” and Nick Jonas’ “Under You.”

Production duties on “Lust for Life” were collectively handled by Del Rey alongside Rick Nowels (FKA twigs, Charli XCX), Kieron Menzies (Nelly Furtado, John Legend) and Dean Reid (Lykke Li, Marina Diamandis).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Del Rey’s upcoming album of the same name – featuring previous single “Love” – will arrive later this year via Interscope Records (US) and Polydor Records (UK).

The follow-up to 2015’S “Honeymoon” delivers further alliances with Benny Blanco (Ed Sheeran), John Hill (Rihanna), Emile Haynie (Bruno Mars), Jeff Bhasker (Alicia Keys), Mark Ronson (Lily Allen) and Justin Parker (Ellie Goulding).

Cashmere Cat has revealed the title of his upcoming debut album.

The Norwegian DJ, record producer, musician and turntablist – born Magnus Hoiberg – christened his first studio collection “9” and will release it later this year via Mad Love Records and Interscope Records.

Current promotional single “9 (After Coachella)” – featuring Danish singer/songwriter MØ and London-based electronic music producer SOPHIE – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Among the additional tracks slotted for inclusion on “9” are “Love Incredible (f/ Camila Cabello),” “Wild Love (f/ The Weeknd and Francis & the Lights),” “Trust Nobody (f/ Selena Gomez & Tory Lanez),” “Throw Myself a Party (f/ Starrah, 2 Chainz & Tory Lanez),” and “Please Don’t Go (f/ Jhene Aiko).”

The Weeknd has released his third studio collection online.

“Starboy” – featuring singles “False Alarm,” “Party Monster” and “I Feel it Coming” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2014’s “Beauty Behind the Madness” reunites The Weeknd – real name Abel Tesfaye – with Doc McKinney, Cirkut, Ben Billions, Belly, DaHeala, Lana Del Rey, Savan Kotecha, Ali Payami, Peter Svensson, Max Martin, Labrinth, Cashmere Cat, Benny Blanco, and Diplo.

The Weeknd has reunited with Cashmere Cat for his upcoming third album.

“The Weeknd’s new album out on November 25, with 4 songs produced by me,” the Norwegian electronic musician posted on Twitter.

The pair previously teamed up on Cashmere Cat’s single “Wild Love,” which is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Cashmere Cat’s production resume boasts further works with Tinashe (“All Hands on Deck”), Miguel (“Going to Hell”), Charli XCX (“Red Balloon”), Ariana Grande (“Be My Baby”) and Britney Spears (“Just Luv Me”).

Meanwhile, The Weeknd will release his next studio collection “Starboy” – featuring singles “I Felt It Coming,” “False Alarm” and “Party Monster” – on November 25 via XO / Republic Records.

The follow-up to 2015’s “Beauty Behind the Madness” delivers additional alliances with Belly, Doc McKinney, Ben Billions, Cirkut, Benny Blanco, Savan Kotecha, Billy Walsh, and Stephan Moccio.
