Demi Lovato teams up with STINT for new collaboration

American singer/songwriter Demetria Devonne Lovato, professionally known as Demi Lovato, has teamed up with STINT for a new collaboration.

The Canadian record producer and songwriter (born Ajay Bhattacharyya) is responsible for Sabrina Claudio’s “Unravel Me,” NAO’s “Girlfriend,” Zara Larsson’s “Make that Money Girl,” Jacob Banks’ “Chainsmoking,” Tayla Parx’s “Runaway,” and Carly Rae Jepsen’s “LA Hallucinations.”

Additionally, fans of STINT’s songwriting and production works should keep an eye on the next projects by Jessie Ware, Kiana Lede, Amber Mark, Sarah Close, Amber Simone, Kai, and Conrad Sewell.

Meanwhile, Lovato is expected to release her sixth album – featuring current promotional single “Sorry Not Sorry” – later this year via Safehouse Records in partnership with Island Records and Hollywood Records.

The follow-up to 2015’s “Confident” reportedly boasts further productions from Ido Zmishlany (Shawn Mendes), Happy Perez (Camila Cabello), Emile Haynie (Bruno Mars), Neff-U (Tori Kelly) and Oscar Holter (Adam Lambert).

Ella Eyre unleashes new promotional single “Ego”

British singer/songwriter Ella Mary McMahon, professionally known as Ella Eyre, has unleashed her new promotional single online.

“Ego” – featuring Ty Dolla $ign – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Eyre alongside Fransisca Hall and Jesse Shatkin, who are also behind Cheryl’s “Waiting for Lightning,” Kelly Clarkson’s “In the Blue,” Foxes’ “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now,” Jasmine Thompson’s “Crystal Heart,” Indiana’s “Play Dead,” and Lea Michele’s “Believer.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Eyre’s sophomore album and follow-up to 2015’s “Feline” is expected to arrive later this year via Virgin EMI Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further songwriting contributions from Becky Hill, Kamille, Lauren Christy, HARLOE, Ilsey Juber, Emily Warren, Stephenie Jones, Dayo Olatunji, Jin Jin, Caroline Ailin, Gina Kushka, Nate Campany, Samuel Preston, and Evan “Kidd” Bogart.

On the production front, Eyre has worked with Jason Evigan, ADP, Jonas Jeberg, Crada, Jonny Coffer, Kid Harpoon, Joel Little, Toby Gad, Jarrad Rogers, Neff-U, Emanuel Kiriakou, Andrew Goldstein, Two Inch Punch, Paul O’Duffy, LOSTBOY, and Mojam Music.

Demi Lovato has liberated the music video for new single online.

The American singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Sorry Not Sorry” to her Vevo channel on Wednesday (July 19, 2017).

The track was co-written by Sean Douglas, whose recent credits include Fitz & the Tantrums’ “Fool,” Big Boi’s “Freakanomics,” Dua Lipa’s “Garden,” Pitbull’s “Options,” and The Chainsmokers’ “Honest.”

Production duties on “Sorry Not Sorry” were collectively handled by Warren “Oak” Felder, Trevor Brown and Zaire Koalo, who are also behind Kehlani’s “Everything is Yours,” Betty Who’s “Some Kinda Wonderful,” ZZ Ward’s “Ghost,” and Bea Miller’s “Burning Bridges.”

Lovato’s next album, on the other hand, is expected to arrive later this year via Safehouse Records in partnership with Hollywood Records and Island Records.

As mentioned in earlier posts, the follow-up to 2015’s “Confident” is expected to arrive later this year via Safehouse Records in partnership with Hollywood Records and Island Records.

Demi Lovato has confirmed the details for her new single.

The American singer/songwriter christened “Sorry Not Sorry” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming sixth studio collection and will release it on July 11 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was co-written by Warner/Chappell Music signee Sean Douglas, who previously teamed up with Lovato on “Heart Attack,” taken from her 2013 album “Demi.” Initially recorded by Nikki Williams and Pia Toscano, “Heart Attack” peaked to number ten on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

American singer/songwriter ZZ Ward has released her new album online.

“The Storm” – featuring promotional singles “Cannonball,” “Help Me Mama” and “Domino” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2012’s “Til the Casket Drops” is executive-produced by Evan “Kidd” Bogart, who also contributed to the next projects by Shawn Wasabi, Carly Rae Jepsen, Kyla Smith, Rudimental, DAKOTA, Ella Henderson, Stanaj, Jess Glynne, Mads Langer, Georgia Ku, Alice Chater, Ella Eyre, and Lizzo.

The multi-platinum hitmaker previously co-wrote “Heart Attack” for Lovato alongside Nikki Williams, Aaron Phillips, Jason Evigan and Mitch Allan. The track peaked to number ten on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

Other notable credits by Douglas include Thomas Rhett’s “Die a Happy Man,” Nick Jonas’ “Levels,” Madonna’s “Ghosttown,” Austin Mahone’s “Dirty Work,” Jason Derulo’s “Get Ugly,” Chris Brown’s “Zero,” Fifth Harmony’s “Sledgehammer,” Kat Graham’s “Power,” Alyxx Dione’s “Chingalinga,” Jessie J’s “Said Too Much,” and Dua Lipa’s “Garden.”
