Anne-Marie releases new promotional single “Then”

British singer/songwriter Anne-Marie Nicholson, known mononymously as Anne-Marie, has released her new promotional single online.

“Then” – which was co-written by regular collaborators Ina Wroldsen and Steve Mac – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Anne-Marie’s upcoming debut album – featuring previous promotional singles “Heavy,” “Ciao Adios” and “Alarm” – is expected to arrive early next year via Major Tom’s Music in partnership with Asylum Records (UK) and Atlantic Records (US).

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further songwriting contributions from Emily Warren, Kamille, Ed Sheeran, Sasha Sloan, Negin Djafari, Jean Baptiste Kouame, Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Chelcee Grimes, Thomas Jules, Natasha Bedingfield, Stacy Barthe, JHart, Amy Wadge, Jin Jin, and Raye.

On the production front, Anne-Marie has worked with Mojam Music, Fred Cox, Chris Loco, Adriano Buffone, Justin Parker, Felix Snow, Moon Willis, Jonas Jeberg, Digital Farm Animals, Knox Brown, Jesse Shatkin, Rick Nowels, Greg Wells, Jamie Scott, Bless Beats, and Fraser T. Smith.

Anne-Marie unveils music video for new single “Ciao Adios”

Anne-Marie has unveiled the music video for her new single online.

The British singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Ciao Adios” to her YouTube channel on Thursday (March 09, 2017).

The track was co-written by Anne-Marie alongside Jennifer Decilveo, whose other credits include Rebecca Ferguson’s “Without a Woman,” Wynter Gordon’s “Bleeding Out,” Rixton’s “Wait on Me,” Melanie Martinez’s “Play Date,” Andra Day’s “Rise,” Ryn Weaver’s “Free,” and Theory of a Deadman’s “Angel.”

Production duties on “Ciao Adios” were collectively handled by Mason “MdL” Levy (Justin Bieber, Samantha Jade, Mike Posner) and Tom Meredith (Andy Grammar, Brandyn Burnette, Astrid S).

Anne-Marie’s first studio collection, on the other hand, will arrive later this year via Major Tom’s Music and Asylum Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further songwriting contributions from RAYE, Ed Sheeran, Amy Wadge, JHart, Stacy Barthe, Jean Baptiste Kouame, Chelcee Grimes, Luke James, Natasha Bedingfield, Jin Jin, Wayne Hector, Ina Wroldsen, Thomas Jules, and Laura Dockrill.

Anne-Marie has confirmed the details for her new single.

The British singer-songwriter christened “Breathing Fire” as the next promotional cut from her debut album and will release on September 30 via iTunes.

“Breathing Fire” was co-written by Ina Wroldsen, who also worked with other artists including Calvin Harris (“How Deep is Your Love”), Britney Spears (“He About to Lose Me”), and Cover Drive (“Twilight”).

Production duties on “Breathing Fire” were handled by Steve Mac, whose resume boasts further works with Ella Henderson (“Glow”), Jess Glynne (“Take Me Home”), and Charli XCX (“Break the Rules”).

Anne-Marie has recorded new music with Digital Farm Animals.

“Just been finishing up this track for @AnneMarieIAm we wrote with @ThomasJules81 sounding big!!! What a voice!!” the British record producer and songwriter – real name Nicholas Gale – posted to his Twitter account.

Digital Farm Animals’ current single “Wanna Know” – featuring R. Kelly – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Tim & Danny Music and Simon Cowell’s label Simco Limited.

His resume boasts further works with Astrid S [Island], Louisa Johnson [Syco], Dua Lipa [Warner Brothers], Izzy Bizu [Epic], Alex Newell [Atlantic], Conrad Sewell [300], Chromeo [Big Beat] and Marlon Roudette [Vertigo].

Meanwhile, Anne-Marie is expected to release her upcoming debut album – featuring singles “Boy,” “Do It Right” and “Alarm” – later this year through Rudimental’s label Major Tom’s Music and Atlantic Records.

“Domesticated” – featuring 6 tracks including “Twenty” and “Gin” – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

Moreover, the British singer-songwriter is currently recording new material for her upcoming debut album under Black Butter Records.

For the still-untitled project, Leone has reportedly teamed up with Tom Aspaul (AlunaGeorge), Becky Hill (Little Mix), Thomas Jules (Rudimental), Aston Rudi (Elli Ingram) and Tre Jean-Marie (Craig David).

Zak Abel has announced the title of his new single.

The British singer-songwriter christened “Everybody Needs Love” as the first promotional cut from his upcoming debut album under Atlantic Records.

“Everybody Needs Love” – available for download from April 1st via iTunes – was co-written by Ed Thomas (Sinead Harnett, Karen Harding) and Stuart Zender (Jamiroquai, All Saints).

Other musicians backing Abel on his still-untitled debut album are Lucas Secon (Jordin Sparks, Olly Murs), Thomas Jules (Rudimental, Anne-Marie) and Francis “Eg” White (Adele, Sam Smith).

Lucas Secon hints at new collaboration with Zak Abel, Thomas Jules

Lucas Secon has hinted at a new collaboration with Zak Abel and Thomas Jules.

“@ZakAbel @ThomasJules81 great record today,” the Danish record producer and songwriter tweeted on Monday (February 08, 2016).

Jules is a singer-songwriter signed to BMG Chrysalis and the lead touring vocalist for Rudimental. Moreover, he co-penned Rudimental’s “Love Ain’t Just a Word” [Asylum] and Anne-Marie’s “Do It Right” [Atlantic].

Meanwhile, Secon is responsible for co-writing / producing songs with Blonde (“All Cried Out”), Cheryl (“Goodbye Means Hello”), Kylie Minogue (“Get Outta My Way”), Olly Murs (“Cry Your Heart Out”), and Cody Simpson (“No Ceiling”).

Abel, on the other hand, will release his first studio collection – featuring the Eg White-assisted “Deserve to Be Loved” – later this year through Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2015’s EP “ One Hand on the Future,” which delivered the Kaytranada-produced “Say Sumthin.”

The British singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Do It Right” to her YouTube channel on Tuesday (January 12, 2016).

The track – out now via iTunes – was co-written by fellow Rudimental collaborator Thomas Jules, whose resume includes works with Professor Green [Virgin EMI], Ed Sheeran [Atlantic], and Wretch 32 [Ministry of Sound].

Production duties on “Do It Right” were handled by Ellis “Show N Prove” Taylor, who also worked with artists such as Rizzle Kicks, Tinchy Stryder, Jessie J, Stooshe, Benny Banks, and Dappy.

Anne-Marie’s first studio collection – featuring promotional cuts “Boy” and “Gentleman” – is scheduled to hit stores later this year through Rudimental’s label Major Tom’s Music in conjunction with Atlantic Records.

Other contributors on the still-untitled LP include Bradford Ellis (Wilkinson), Laura Dockrill (Dua Lipa), Two Inch Punch (Sam Smith), Jonny Lattimer (Kwabs), Jesse Shatkin (Sia), Ina Wroldsen (Shakira), and Knox Brown (Usher).

The British singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “Do It Right” to her SoundCloud channel on Thursday (October 16, 2015).

“Do It Right” was co-written by fellow Rudimental collaborator Thomas Jules, whose resume includes further works with the likes of Professor Green [Virgin EMI], Ed Sheeran [Atlantic] and Wretch 32 [Ministry of Sound].

Production duties were handled by Scottish DJ and record producer Ellis “Show N Prove” Taylor, who also worked with artists such as Rizzle Kicks, Tinchy Stryder, Jessie J, Stooshe, Benny Banks, and Dappy.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Anne-Marie is scheduled to release her debut album next year through Major Tom’s Music and Atlantic Records.

Her current mini-collection “Karate” – featuring “Gemini” and “Stole” – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.
