MØ releases new promotional single “Imaginary Friend”

Danish singer/songwriter Karen Ørsted, professionally known as MØ, has released her new promotional single online.

“Imaginary Friend” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Noonie Bao alongside Billy Walsh and Illangelo, who are also responsible for Post Malone’s “I Fall Apart,” Alicia Keys’ “In Common,” Majid Jordan’s “Something About You,” and Emeli Sande’s “Starlight.”

MØ’s upcoming sophomore album “Forever Neverland” – featuring previous singles “Nostalgia,” “Sun in Our Eyes” and “Way Down” – is scheduled to arrive on October 19 via Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records.

The highly-anticipated project boasts further songwriting contributions from Ilsey Juber, Jozzy, Cara Salimando, Alexandra “Shungudzo” Govere, Sarah Aarons, Madison Love, Jaramye Daniels, and Charli XCX.

On the production front, MØ has worked with Stint, Frank Dukes, Scribz Riley, John Hill, Diplo, King Henry, Hudson Mohawke, What So Not, James Flannigan, MantraBeats, and Stargate.

Maroon 5 release new studio collection “Red Pill Blues”

American pop rock band Maroon 5 – composed of members Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden, James Valentine, Matt Flynn, PJ Morton, and Sam Farrar – have released their sixth studio collection online.

“Red Pill Blues” – featuring singles “Don’t Wanna Know,” “Cold,” “What Lovers Do” and “Help Me Out” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2014’s “V” was executive-produced by Jacob “JKash” Kasher, whose recent songwriting credits include Charlie Puth’s “How Long,” Bebe Rexha’s “I Got You,” Jason Derulo’s “Swalla,” Zara Larsson’s “So Good,” Kristian Galva’s “Wrong 4 This,” and PRETTYMUCH’s “Would You Mind.”

Other producers backing Maroon 5 on “Red Pill Blues” are Julian Bunetta (Niall Horan), Cirkut (Ava Max), Noah Passovoy (Katy Perry), Diplo (Madonna), John Ryan (Colbie Caillat), TMS (Emeli Sande), Ben Billions (Alina Baraz), Jason Evigan (Kehlani), Ricky Reed (Alessia Cara) and Benny Blanco (Halsey).

Madonna snags OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder for new album

Madonna has snagged the songwriting and production services of Ryan Tedder for her thirteenth album.

The OneRepublic frontman recently co-wrote and produced “Ghost” for British singer/songwriter Ella Henderson along with regular collaborator Noel Zancanella. The track peaked at number one on the UK Singles Chart.

His resume also includes works for Taylor Swift (“Welcome to New York”), Leona Lewis (“Bleeding Love”), Adele (“Rumor Has It”), Beyonce (“Halo”), Ellie Goulding (“Burn”), Maroon 5 (“Maps”) and Gwen Stefani (“Baby Don’t Lie”).

Meanwhile, Madonna’s forthcoming studio collection will be released next year via Live Nation and Interscope Records. The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “MDNA,” which spawned hit single “Give Me All Your Luvin.”

Other album contributors include Diplo (Sia, Britney Spears), Mozella (Tinashe, Miley Cyrus), Toby Gad (Alicia Keys, John Legend), Ariel Rechtshaid (Sky Ferreira, Charli XCX) and MNEK (Little Mix, Kylie Minogue).

Jessie J has confirmed the details for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter christened “Masterpiece” as the third promotional cut from her latest album, “Sweet Talker,” which is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Universal Music Group / Republic Records.

“Masterpiece” was written by Britt Burton and Emily Warren along with Josh Alexander, whose also responsible for Jojo’s “Too Little, Too Late” [Blackground Records] and Katharine McPhee’s “Over It” [RCA Records].

The track follows previous singles “Bang Bang” (with Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj) and “Burnin’ Up” (featuring 2 Chainz).

“Sweet Talker” yields further collaborations with Diplo (Beyonce, Marsha Ambrosius), Tricky Stewart (Usher, Kelly Rowland), Steve Booker (Becky Hill, Leona Lewis) and Jonas Jeberg (Meghan Trainor, Fifth Harmony).

“Burnin’ Up” – featuring 2 Chainz – was written by Jessie J along with Andreas “Axident” Schuller, Eric “Wallpaper” Frederic, Chloe Angelides, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Rickard Göransson and Gamal “LunchMoney” Lewis.

The singer/songwriter’s sixth studio collection, “X,” will hit stores and digital outlets on September 16 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Current single “New Flame” – featuring Usher & Rick Ross – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets. The track was co-written by Verse Simmonds and produced by Count Justice.

“X” serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Fortune,” which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Among the musicians backing Brown on the highly-anticipated LP are RoccStar, Sevyn Streeter, Darhyl Camper, Eric Bellinger, and Diplo.

The British girl group – which consists of members Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall – will release “DNA” in the United Kingdom on November 19 via Simco Limited / Sony Music Entertainment.
