H.E.R. releases new project “I Used to Know Her: The Prelude”

American singer/songwriter Gabi Wilson, known professionally as H.E.R., has released her new project online.

“I Used to Know Her: The Prelude” – featuring six new songs including “Against Me,” “Feel a Way,” “Could’ve Been” and “As I Am” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Album contributors include David “Swagg R’celious” Harris, Tiara Thomas, Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman, Hue “SoundzFire” Strother, Carl “Cardiak” McCormick, Dernst “D’Mile” Emile, and Ronald “Flippa” Colson.

H.E.R. teams up with Naughty Boy for new collaboration

American singer/songwriter Gabi Wilson, known professionally as H.E.R., has teamed up with British record producer Naughty Boy for a new collaboration.

Naughty Boy’s production resume boasts works with Emeli Sande (“Heaven”), Leona Lewis (“Trouble”), Rihanna (“Half of Me”), Alesha Dixon (“Radio”), Marlon Roudette (“Anti Hero”), Mary J. Blige (“Pick Me Up”), Tanika (“Runaway”) and Fantasia Barrino (“Side Effects of You”).

His current promotional single “All or Nothing” – featuring Ray BLK and Wycelf Jean – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Meanwhile, H.E.R.’s upcoming debut album is scheduled to arrive later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers contributions from The Stereotypes, D’Mile, Hue Strother, Theron Feemster, Swagg R’Celious, Tiara Thomas, Supa Dups, Flippa, Jeff Gitty, Nija Charles, and DannyBoyStyles.

Elle Varner premieres “Cold Case” music video

Elle Varner has premiered a new music video online.

The singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Cold Case” to her official Vevo page on Thursday (December 18, 2014).

“Cold Case” was written by Elle Varner along with regular collaborators Warren “Oak” Felder (Usher, Jessie Ware), Andrew “Pop” Wansel (Miguel, Nicki Minaj) and Steve “Aceface” Mostyn (K. Michelle, Jason Derulo).

The track is slotted for inclusion on the artist’s upcoming sophomore album, “Four Letter Word,” out soon via MBK Entertainment / RCA Records.

Jeff Robinson serves as the executive producer for the follow-up to 2012’s “Perfectly Imperfect.” The MBK Entertainment CEO is also overseeing the next projects by Brandy, Gabi Wilson, Justine Skye, Daisha, and Tiara Thomas.

Ne-Yo graces debut album by Gabi Wilson

Gabi Wilson has added Ne-Yo to the list of contributors for her debut album.

The R&B singer, songwriter and record producer – born Shaffer Smith – is responsible for Rihanna’s “Unfaithful,” Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable,” Janet Jackson’s “Rock With U” and Celine Dion’s “Thank You.”

His upcoming studio album,”Non Fiction,” is scheduled for release on September 30 via Compound Entertainment / Motown Records.

Meanwhile, Wilson’s debut LP is expected to hit stores and online outlets later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

It will be executively produced by MBK Entertainment CEO Jeff Robinson, who is also overseeing the next projects by K. Michelle, Elle Varner, Tiara Thomas, Daisha, and Justine Skye.

Tiara Thomas debuts new song “Money Don’t Change”

Tiara Thomas has debuted a new song online.

“Money Don’t Change” is set to appear on the singer/songwriter’s upcoming debut album with Division1 / Interscope Records.

The track was produced by Canadian hitmaker Boi-1da, whose credits include DJ Khaled’s “No New Friends” [Republic Records], Nicki Minaj’s “Chi-Raq” [Young Money Records] and Chris Brown’s “Party Hard” [RCA Records].

Tiara’s debut LP will be executively produced by Jeff Robinson of MBK Entertainment, who is also overseeing the careers of Elle Varner [RCA Records], K. Michelle [Atlantic Records] and Daisha [Epic Records].

Other album contributors include Rico Love (Alexandra Burke, Kelly Rowland), James “Jim Jonsin” Scheffer (Keri Hilson, John Legend) and Dwayne “Supa Dups” Chin-Quee (Bruno Mars, Tessanne Chin).

Tiara Thomas has unveiled her debut mini-album online.

“Dear Sallie Mae” is now available for download via Universal Music Group / Division 1 / Interscope Records.

The project features previously released singles “4 Dolla Bill” and “Tell Me Something,” as well as productions from Rico Love (Usher, Kelly Rowland) and Dwayne “Supa Dups” Chin-Quee (Melanie Fiona, Bruno Mars).

Now being managed by MBK Entertainment’s Jeff Robinson (who is also handling the careers of Elle Varner, K. Michelle, Gabi Wilson, and Daisha), Thomas secured recording sessions with hitmakers Jim Jonsin, Dwayne “Supa Dups” Chin-Quee and Matthew “Boi-1da” Samuels.

“Tell Me Something” is taken from the singer/songwriter’s upcoming debut mini-album, “Dear Sallie Mae,” out soon via Universal Music Group / MBK Entertainment / Division 1 / Interscope Records.

The track was produced by Dwayne “Supa Dups” Chin-Quee, whose credits include Drake [Republic Records], Estelle [New London Records], Bruno Mars [Atlantic Records] and John Legend [Columbia Records].

He is also responsible for songs such as “Each Tear” by Mary J. Blige [Geffen Records], “Like I Love You” by Melanie Fiona [Republic Records] and “Can’t Live in a World” by Cover Drive [Polydor Records].

Other songwriters and producers Thomas has recently collaborated with are Rico Love (Alexandra Burke, Trey Songz), Matthew “Boi-1da” Samuels (Chris Brown, Keri Hilson) and Jim Jonsin (Nicole Scherzinger, Jamie Foxx).
