Selena Gomez unwraps new album “Revival” tracklisting

Selena Gomez has unwrapped the tracklisting for her upcoming album.

The actress, singer, and songwriter is scheduled to release “Revival” on October 9 through Universal Music Group imprint Interscope Records.

Current single “Same Old Love” – out now via iTunes – was helmed by Charli XCX (Neon Jungle, Ryn Weaver), Ross Golan (Mika, Colbie Caillat), Benny Blanco (Sia, The Weeknd) and Stargate (Rihanna, Kelly Rowland).

Other producers backing Gomez on “Revival” are Max Martin (Tinashe), Rock Mafia (Miley Cyrus), Mattman & Robin (Taylor Swift), Chris Braide (Sia), Hit-Boy (Rihanna), Nolan Lambroza (Justin Bieber) and Steve Mac (Little Mix).

Album songwriters are Julia Michaels (Bea Miller), Justin Tranter (Gwen Stefani), Shane Stevens (Little Boots), Chloe Angelides (Jessie J), Jacob Kasher (Ciara), Nick Monson (Lady Gaga) and Felix Snow (Rita Ora).

Gomez’s last studio collection, 2013’s “Stars Dance,” debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned two international hit singles in the shape of “Come and Get It” and “Slow Down.”

Selena Gomez has drafted Julia Michaels and Hit-Boy for her upcoming album and follow-up to 2013’s “Stars Dance.”

Michaels previously co-wrote “Slow Down” and “Undercover” for Gomez along with Lindy Robbins and Niles Hollowell-Dhar (The Cataracs).

Her other songwriting credits include Demi Lovato’s “Fire Starter” [Hollywood Records], Fifth Harmony’s “Miss Movin’ On” [Syco Music], Nicole Scherzinger’s “Run” [Epic Records] and Kelly Clarkson’s “War Paint” [RCA Records].

Meanwhile, Hit-Boy – real name Chauncey Hollis – is known for producing Kelly Rowland’s “Lay it On Me” f/ Big Sean [Republic Records], Rihanna’s “Watch ‘N Learn” [SRP Records] and Mariah Carey’s “Thirsty” [Def Jam Recordings].

He also contributed to the next projects by Sevyn Streeter [Atlantic Records], Brandy [MBK Entertainment], Elle Varner [RCA Records], Stacy Barthe [Motown Records] and Frank Ocean [Def Jam Recordings].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Gomez will release her next studio collection later this year under Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly features further collaborations with Zedd, Sia, Rock Mafia (Antonina Armato & Tim James), Ina Wroldsen, Steve Mac, Justin Tranter, and Jack Patterson of Clean Bandit.

Selena Gomez has hinted at a new collaboration with Sia Furler.

The Australian songbird is responsible for co-writing Rihanna’s “Diamonds” [Def Jam Recordings], Beyonce’s “Pretty Hurts” [Columbia Records] and Katy Perry’s “Double Rainbow” [Capitol Records].

Sia’s resume also includes works for Celine Dion [Columbia Records], Jessie J [Republic Records], Cheryl [Polydor Records], Labrinth [Syco Music], Britney Spears [RCA Records] and Carly Rae Jepsen [Interscope Records].

Meanwhile, Gomez will release her upcoming greatest hits compilation “For You” on November 24 via Hollywood Records.

Current single “The Heart Wants What it Wants” – which was produced by Antonina Armato and Tim James of Rock Mafia – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

Gomez’s last studio collection, 2013’s “Stars Dance,” debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and delivered two hit singles in the shape of “Come and Get It” and “Slow Down.”

Selena Gomez has unveiled the music video for her new single online.

The artist posted the Dawn Shadforth-directed visual clip for “The Heart Wants What it Wants” to her official Vevo page on Thursday (November 06, 2014).

“The Heart Wants What it Wants” was written by David Jost along with Antonina Armato and Tim James of Rock Mafia.

The track is lifted from Gomez’s upcoming greatest hits compilation, “For You,” which will hit stores on November 24 via Hollywood Records.

Aloe Blacc has released the official lyric video for his new single online.

“Ticking Bomb” is lifted from the singer/songwriter’s latest album, “Lift Your Spirits,” out now via Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

The track was written by Blacc – born Egbert Dawkins – and Adam Shmalholz along with Antonina Armato and Tim James of Rock Mafia.

“Lift Your Spirits” serves as the follow-up to 2010’s “Good Things,” which included hit singles “I Need a Dollar” and “Loving You is Killing.”

Other album contributors include DJ Khalil (Eminem, Talib Kweli), Harold Lilly (Janet Jackson, Alicia Keys), Pharrell Williams (Robin Thicke, Miley Cyrus) and Theron “Neff-U” Feemster (Mary J. Blige, Brandy Norwood).

New single “Slow Down” was written by Lindy Robbins along with Niles “Cyrano” Hollowell-Dhar, Julia Michaels, David Kuncio, and Freddy Wexler.

Selena Gomez has confirmed the official tracklisting for her upcoming album.

The pop princess will release “Stars Dance” in the United States on July 23 via Universal Music Group / Hollywood Records.

New single “Slow Down” was produced by Niles “Cyrano” Hollowell-Dhar aka The Cataracs, whose credits include “Like a G6” by Far East Movement [Interscope Records], “Bass Down Low” by Dev [Republic Records] and “Backseat” by New Boyz [Warner Bros. Records].

He also confirmed placements on the next albums by Beyonce Knowles [Parkwood Entertainment / Columbia Records], Jennifer Lopez [Capitol Records], Becky G [RCA Records] and Icona Pop [Big Beat / Atlantic Records].
