Zak Abel delivers debut album “Only When We’re Nakes”

British singer/songwriter Zak Abel has delivered his debut album online.

“Only When We’re Naked” – featuring promotional singles “The River,” “Rock Bottom” and “Unstable” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Album contributors include Sky Adams (Kylie Minogue), Fred Cox (Maverick Sabre), Danny Shah (Imani Williams), Amy Wadge (Ed Sheeran), Cass Lowe (Anne-Marie), Maegan Cottone (Olly Murs), Eg White (Adele), Lawrie Martin (Nathan Sykes) and Tim Woodcock (Eliza Doolittle).

As a songwriter, Abel co-penned “I’ll Be Gentle” for Paloma Faith’s upcoming fourth album “The Architect” alongside UK-based songwriting/production team TMS (Peter “Merf” Kelleher, Benjamin Kohn, and Thomas “Froe” Barnes).

Betsy schedules release date for debut album

Betsy has scheduled the release date for her upcoming self-titled debut album.

Born Elizabeth Martha Humphry, the Welsh singer/songwriter’s first studio collection will arrive on September 29 via Warner Brothers Records.

Current promotional single “Little White Lies” – which was co-written with Tim Woodcock and collectively produced by Alexander Burnett and Dreamtrak – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

In addition to Jack McManus, who collaborated with the artist on “You Won’t Love Me,” producers such as Richard Stannard (Clare Maguire), Fred Cox (Kiah Victoria), Shama Joseph (Ava Lily), Rationale (Rag’n’Bone Man) and Lazy Jay (Natasha Bedingfield) are also expected to appear on the album.

DAKOTA hits the studio with Maegan Cottone, Luke Fitton

British singer-songwriter DAKOTA – real name Sophie Elton – has recorded new music with Maegan Cottone and Luke Fitton.

Cottone’s songwriting resume boasts credits with Ferras (“Closer”), Britney Spears (“Pretty Girls”), Olly Murs (“Up”), Fleur East (“Know Your Name”) and Medina (“Good Enough”).

Meanwhile, Fitton previously co-penned songs for The Saturdays (“What Are You Waiting For?), Girls Aloud (“Every Now and Then), Little Mix (“Pretend It’s Okay”) and Rebecca Ferguson (“Mr. Bright Eyes”).

DAKOTA, on the other hand, is scheduled to release her first studio collection in 2017 via 70Hz Recordings and Virgin EMI Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further songwriting contributions from Nina Nesbitt, Becky Hill, Ed Drewett, Laura Dockrill, Jamie Scott, Amy Wadge, Maiday, Chiara Hunter, Samuel Preston, and Karen Poole.

Current single “Long Hot Summer” – which was co-written by DAKOTA alongside Tim Woodcock – is now available for download via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

DAKOTA has recorded new music with Becky Hill.

“Me & @soundofdakota just wrote a song in under like 2 hours! Talented little bean this one, just sat listening to her beautiful voice,” Hill tweeted on Wednesday (August 17, 2016).

The British singer-songwriter – born Rebecca Claire Hill – is best known for her singles “Caution to the Wind,” “Losing” and “Back to My Love,” which are now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

Her resume boasts further works with Matoma (“False Alarm”), Marc Kinchen (“Piece of Me”), Tough Love (“Touch”), Katy B (“Freak Like Me”), Rudimental (“Powerless”), Bondax (“All I See”), and Wilkinson (“Afterglow”).

Meanwhile, DAKOTA is expected to release her debut project – featuring “Long Hot Summer” and “Lonely Like a Fool” – later this year through 70Hz Recordings in partnership with Virgin EMI Records.

DAKOTA has shared a new song online.

“Long Hot Summer” is slotted for inclusion on the British singer-songwriter’s upcoming debut album under 70Hz Recordings / Virgin EMI Records.

The track – now available for streaming via Spotify – was written by DAKOTA along with Tim Woodcock, who also worked with the likes of Billie Piper (“Something Deep Inside”) and Eliza Doolittle (“Skinny Genes”).

Other musicians backing DAKOTA on her yet to be titled first studio collection are Future Cut, Amy Wadge, Josh Record, Maiday, Bless Beats, Laura Dockrill, Jamie Scott, Ed Drewett, Luke Potashnick, and Alex James.

On the songwriting front, DAKOTA – real name Sophie Elton – recently co-penned DJ Snake’s “Future, Pt. 2” along with Karen Poole and Fraser T. Smith. The Bipolar Sunshine-assisted track appears on French electronic music producer’s debut album, “Encore,” out now via Interscope Records.

Maiday – real name Rachel Moulden – is responsible for co-writing Leona Lewis’s “Stop the Clocks” [Syco Music], Naughty Boy’s “One Way” [Virgin EMI], and Girls Aloud’s “Beautiful ‘Cause You Love Me” [Polydor].

Meanwhile, notable production credits by Bless Beats are Krishane’s “Drunk and Incapable” f/ Melissa Steel [Atlantic Records] and Tinie Tempah’s “Not Letting Go” f/ Jess Glynne [Disturbing London / Parlophone Records].

DAKOTA, on the other hand, is expected to release her first studio collection – featuring “Lonely Like a Fool” – later this year through 70Hz Recordings.

The Wanted debut new single ‘Show Me Love (America)’

The Wanted have debuted their new single online.

“Show Me Love (America)” is taken from the group’s upcoming third studio album, “Word of Mouth,” out on November 4 via Island Records.

The track – available for download from October 27 via iTunes and all other digital outlets – was written by Nathan Sykes along with Tim Woodcock, Kasper Larsen, Ole Bordersen and Mich “Cutfather” Hansen.

For the follow-up to 2011’s “Battleground,” The Wanted have also teamed up with hitmakers Steve Mac (The Saturdays, Cover Drive), Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald (Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears) and The Messengers: Nasri Atweh & Adam Messinger (Justin Bieber, Chris Brown).

Eliza Doolittle has premiered the music video for her new single online.

“In Your Hands” marks the second promotional single from the British singer/songwriter’s upcoming sophomore album, “In Your Hands,” out on October 14 via Warner Music Group / Parlophone Records.

The track was co-written by Ross Golan, whose credits include “Back from the Dead” by Skylar Grey [Interscope Records], “Hold Up” by Demi Lovato [Hollywood Records] and “Anyway” by Cee Lo Green [Elektra Records].

The British singer/songwriter – real name Eliza Caird – will release “In Your Hands” in the United Kingdom on October 14 via Warner Music Group / Parlophone Records.

New single “Let It Rain” was co-written by Ross Golan, whose credits include the likes of Skylar Grey [Interscope Records], Icona Pop [Big Beat Records], Cee Lo Green [Elektra Records] and Nicki Minaj [Republic Records].
