Starley unveils new promotional single “Been Meaning to Tell You”

Australian singer/songwriter Starley Hope, known mononymously as Starley, has unveiled her new promotional single online.

“Been Meaning to Tell You” – which was co-written and produced by Cory Enemy – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Starley’s upcoming debut project – featuring previous promotional singles “Call on Me” and “Touch Me” – is expected to arrive early next year via Universal Music Group / Tinted Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers additional productions and songwriting contributions from Salaam Remi, Jin Jin, Grades, Rosina Russell, Prince Charlez, Nate Campany, Kyle Shearer, Steve Booker, and Captain Cuts.

STARLEY teams with Jin Jin for new collaboration

STARLEY has teamed up with Jin Jin for a new collaboration.

The British singer/songwriter, born Janee Bennett, is known for co-writing Jess Glynne’s “Hold My Hand,” Tinie Tempah’s “Not Letting Go,” Krishane’s “Drunk & Incapable,” Jax Jones’ “You Don’t Know Me,” Foxes’ “Scar,” Little Mix’s “Grown,” Fleur East’s “Like That,” Olly Murs’ “How Much for Your Love,” Alex Newell’s “Keep it Moving,” and Sub Focus’ “Love Divine.”

Jin Jin’s extensive resume boasts further works with producers Bless Beats, Cutfather, Daniel Davidsen, Peter Wallevik, Knox Brown, Starsmith, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, The Rascals, Fraser T. Smith, MNEK, Gorgon City, Toby Gad, DJ Freedo, Laconic, Komi Hakam, GRADES, Jake Gosling, Electric, Bhavik “Knightstarr” Pattani, and Frederik “Fredro” Odesjo.

Meanwhile, STARLEY is expected to release her debut project – featuring lead single “Call on Me” – later this year via Tinted Records an Epic Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers additional alliances with Salaam Remi (Amy Winehouse), Prince Charlez (Mary J. Blige), GRADES (Jessie Ware), Rosina Russell (K. Michelle) and Steve Booker (John Newman).

Starley premieres music video for new single “Call on Me”

Starley has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The Australian singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Call on Me (Ryan Riback Remix)” to her Vevo channel on Wednesday (January 18, 2017).

The track – which was co-written and originally produced by Peter “P-Money” Wadams – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Starley is currently working on her upcoming debut album under Tinted Records and Epic Records.

The still-untitled project will boast productions from Salaam Remi, who is known for his association with Nas (“The Don”), Amy Winehouse (“Stronger Than Me”), Miguel (“How Many Drinks?”), and Alicia Keys (“Girl on Fire”).

Starley hints at new music with Salaam Remi

Starley has hinted at new music with Salaam Remi.

“Got something coming for you that’s I’m super excited about! All smiles over here with Salaam Remi and manager, Elissa Felman,” the singer-songwriter posted to Instagram on Tuesday (December 20, 2016).

Remi recently co-produced two songs on Anthony Hamilton’s latest studio collection under Mister’s Music / RCA Records, “What I’m Feelin,” alongside James Poyser – “Amen” and “Take You Home.”

His extensive resume boasts further works with Jazmine Sullivan (“Dumb”), Mack Wilds (“Own It”), Jordin Sparks (“They Don’t Give”), Ella Henderson (“Hard Work”), Alicia Keys (“Girl on Fire”), Nelly Furtado (“Enemy”), Melanie Fiona (“Running”) and Amy Winehouse (“Stronger Than Me”).

Meanwhile, Starley – birth name Starley Marie Hope – is expected to release her first project in 2017 via Tinted Records and Epic Records.
